Epilogue

It’s been about a month since we have returned to the great tree that we have now named the Tree of Life, due to it being the first sign of life in this world. Everyone was overjoyed to see that Tara was alive and healthy but the same couldn’t be said about Ifrit. As soon as we landed Nesso and Lance charged at the fire God but I stopped them with a little gust of wind that sent them flying into the Tree of Life. After explaining what had happened at the volcano they calmed down but they still didn’t trust him. I had planned to keep the dark dragon’s appearance a secret till I knew more about it but they had seen it from the tree. We told them what we knew about the dragon, which wasn’t much. After the small explanation I told everyone it was time to rest and we all separated to our respectable resting places.

Since then we have made great progress on the world. Nesso has started creating a large ocean a few miles away from the Tree of Life, he would have been halfway done by now but he comes back to the tree once a week to take some apples. Tara once mentioned that there was another reason for his visits but she wouldn’t say what it was. Speaking of Tara she and Lance were now living in a newly grown forest south of the tree. They had officially announced their relationship as a couple last week. Ifrit and Titania returned to the volcano but Titania didn’t stay. She moved into the forest with Tara and the two were planning on creating a whole race of fairies soon. Ifrit remains in his volcano training; he says that the next time we fight I was going to be blown away. He’s already come by once to challenge me but without Tara’s powers he couldn’t land a single blow on me. I thought he was going to be angry at his defeat but it seemed to only make him want to train harder.

Now that I have become aware of my Godly powers I have been spending my days practicing. I found that I could pull off any type of magic I had read about and now I was able to truly help shape this world. I had spent a whole week with Sylph decorating her floating tower. She really liked the bean bags I had shown her; she made me put them in every room. Sylph was the first to accept Ifrit back and was thankful to me for sparing his life. Also even though Evan claimed that he would still live with me in the Tree of Life, he spent most of his time with Sylph in the tower. Now that everyone had moved out I had changed the inside of the tree to be similar to my old bedroom. I mostly just recreated some of my favorite books and put them in a bookcase and changed the grass to a light blue to match the carpet I used to have. It made me think of the home that I was taken from and I realized that I wasn’t upset about it anymore. Yes I missed my friends and family but now I had a new home with a new family that I was going to work hard with to create a great world.

Everything seemed to be so calm that we had almost forgotten about the dark dragon but it was still around. I saw it every once in a while just two purple orbs glowing in the shadow. I had tried talking to it but every time the eyes would blink out of existence. I feel like something big is coming, trouble that I can’t even imagine. I’m concerned that the dragon will try to attack us soon. I don’t know what he is capable of but whatever he tries I and my new family will rise to face him head on.
