New Age Of Order
The Beginning

The Beginning

The environment that I'm in right now is a beautiful and vibrant paradise, with everything here being completely perfect, though it is also quite quiet.

The most prominent feature here is a giant tree around two-hundred meters in diameter, it reaches up until it seems to be touching the sky. Under the tree there is a large pond of water, completely still. In the pond there is also a tiny island with a tree stump and a bunch of grass and foliage around it.

Looking at the small island there is a medium-sized monkey-like creature sitting on its hind legs, looking at its reflection in the water. Noticing me walking up to the pond, it turns to look at me.

The monkey-like creature, which I now recognise as a type of monkey called a 'Mokoi', jumps up into a defensive stance as I approach it. It stares at me, and makes a sound which I can only describe as a mix between a growl and a screech.

The monkey looks annoyed at my lack of a response, its tail swinging around. It suddenly makes a series of monkey-like sounds, as if it is trying to communicate something to me.

"Oh, I can understand you," I say, to the Mokoi.

The monkey's eyes widen slightly in surprise as I seem to understand what it is saying, it looks at me for a moment, as if assessing me, before speaking again. "Ah, you understand me? That's good, I was worried you were just going to stand there awkwardly like some humans."

The monkey sighs and gets into a more relaxed position, still sitting on its hind legs. "Humans are not very good at understanding us monkeys, some think we only know how to scream and jump around."

The monkey looks at me for a moment, seemingly waiting for a response, before continuing to speak.

"You don't speak much, do you?"

"It's just weird talking to a Mokoi." I say.

The monkey tilts its head slightly, its eyes seeming almost questioning.

"What's weird about it? We're just as intelligent as any other creature."

"You would understand if you were human." I say.

The monkey huffs, seeming almost irritated now.

"I suppose you're going to act like you're better than us just because you're human?"

"I mean, I wouldn't be wrong?" I say.

The monkey's ears go back as it glares at me.

"And just why is that the case? We monkeys are just as intelligent as humans, if not more so."

"Right..." I say quietly.

The monkey lets out an annoyed sigh, shaking its head.

"I've dealt with humans like you before, you all think you're so much better than 'lesser species', but you're not."

"Okay, egoist." I say.

The monkey's eyebrows rise in surprise, it seems shocked that I would call it egotistical.

"What?! I'm not egotistical! You're the one acting like a know-it-all human!"

"Bro, I really don't care. If you going get mad at your own argument, then shut up." I say.

The monkey's eyes narrow slightly in irritation.

"Fine, if you don't care then I'll stop talking. But don't go acting like I'm the one being immature here!"

"Yeah, cuz you're the one screaming." I say.

The monkey's face reddens slightly in embarrassment, but it doesn't back down.

"I'm not screaming! I'm just raising my voice to be heard! It's not my fault you humans have poor hearing!"

"Literally the same thing, bloody hell mate." I say.

The monkey huffs, its expression becoming even more irritated.

"No, it's not! There's a difference between speaking loudly and screaming. I don't know why humans like you can't understand that!"

"Okay, you win." I say, as I walk away.

The monkey watches me walk away, still looking irritated. It mumbles something under its breath as I leave.

"Humans. So infuriating."

I walk back to my castle and I enter, The air castle hovers gently on the air as the butler, a human man standing at 6 feet 2 inches tall with long black hair and a neat goatee, bows slightly in greeting.

"Welcome back, Veldanta. I hope you had a pleasant journey."

"Yeah, I did." I say.

The butler nods, gesturing for me to enter the castle.

"I'm glad to hear that. Now, if you would follow me, there are some matters that I need to discuss with you."

We walk deeper into the castle, the corridors and chambers looking like they were carved out of clouds themselves. We soon come up to a large chamber, with a table in the center. The butler motions for me to sit down at the table.

"Please, have a seat."

I sit down at the table, looking inquisitively at the butler.

"Alright, what is it that you wanted to discuss?"

The butler nods, folding his hands neatly in front of him.

"There are a few matters that I need to bring to your attention. Firstly, there has been an increase in activity from your enemies the 'Demon Lords of Chaos'. It seems they are planning something."

"God, again? Honestly, they know they can't beat me." I say.

The butler nods, his face remaining serious.

"It does seem that they are more desperate than usual. They have been gathering forces and resources at an alarming rate. I would not be surprised if they are planning something drastic."

"So, is that all?" I say.

The butler hesitates for a moment before continuing.

"No, that is not all. There is also the matter of the 'Council of Elders' and the 'Order of Light'. They have expressed their dissatisfaction with your methods and leadership. They are considering taking action against you."

"They wouldn't say it to my face." I say.

The butler nods, once again looking serious.

"That is correct. It seems they are too cowardly to speak to you directly. They have been sending their henchmen to spread dissent and propaganda against you."

"Is it because I killed the former king and took his spot?" I say.

The butler nods once again.

"Yes, that is a likely reason. They were not happy about you taking the former king's place. They saw it as a disruption of the natural order."

The butler continues speaking, his tone still serious.

"They have been spreading rumors and lies about you, trying to discredit you and turn people against you. They call you a tyrant and a dictator."

"Well, I know that's not true." I say.

The butler nods once again, his expression softening slightly.

"Of course, I know that you are not a tyrant. You rule with a firm but fair hand. The people of this world benefit from your rule and are happy under your leadership. But the 'Council of Elders' does not care about that. They only care about their own selfish interests."

"Right, so is that all?" I say.

The butler nods, seemingly hesitating for a moment. He then speaks up, his voice sounding a bit reluctant.

"There is one more thing, but I'm not sure if I should tell you this."

"Just do it." I say.

The butler takes a deep breath before continuing, his voice now sounding uncertain.

"I've received news that the 'Order of Light' is preparing a secret weapon. They call it the 'Blade of Enlightenment'. No one knows what it is, but apparently it's supposed to be powerful enough to rival even your power."

"NOOO!!!!" I suddenly scream.

The butler looks at me with concern as I react strongly to the news of the 'Blade of Enlightenment'.

"Please, Veldanta, stay calm. We do not know what this 'Blade of Enlightenment' actually is. It could be a bluff, or an exaggeration."

"Then I'll just meet them myself." I say.

The butler's eyes widen in surprise at my decision.

"Are you sure that is wise? The 'Order of Light' is dangerous and unpredictable. They may have traps or other surprises prepared for you."

"It's whatever, I'd probably survive." I say.

The butler looks concerned, but he knows that arguing with me is pointless.

"Very well, if that is your decision. But please, be careful. I would not want anything to happen to you."

i just arrived at the order of light's castle, As I approach the castle, I can see that it is a grand and imposing structure, built from shining white stone and golden accents. The castle towers over the surrounding landscape, giving a sense of awe and grandeur.

As I enter the castle, I'm are met by a group of guards who instantly recognize me and escort me deeper inside. Soon, I am led to a large meeting chamber where several members of the 'Order of Light' are already waiting for me.

The members of the 'Order of Light' stand as I enter the chamber, all of them watching me with expressions ranging from curiosity to hostility.

One of the members, a man with a golden robe and a flowing white beard, steps forward and speaks up.

"Greetings, Veldanta. We have been expecting you."

The 'Order of Light' member nods, gesturing for me to take a seat at the table across from them.

"Please, have a seat. We have much to discuss."

I take a seat at the table, sizing up the members of the 'Order of Light' as they take their seats across from me. They all maintain their calm, composed demeanor, although I can sense a hint of hostility and suspicion towards me.

The member who spoke before clears their throat and speaks up again.

"We appreciate you coming to meet with us, Veldanta. We have something important that we wish to discuss."

I nod, waiting for them to continue.

"We know that you are aware of the weapon that we have been developing, the 'Blade of Enlightenment'," the member says, their eyes never leaving mine. "We believe that it is a weapon that is capable of countering even your power."

"But, you don't even know my power." I say.

The 'Order of Light' member tilts their head slightly, their expression betraying a hint of curiosity.

"That is true, we do not know the extent of your power. But we have ways of gathering information and making educated guesses. And our sources indicate that the 'Blade of Enlightenment' should be powerful enough to rival you, if not overpower you entirely."

"Oh, I'm scared!" I say, sarcastically.

The 'Order of Light' member smirks slightly at my sarcastic comment, their eyes still locked on mine.

"You should be. This weapon could shift the balance of power in our favor, tipping the scales in our favor permanently."

I sit in silence for a moment, studying the member of the 'Order of Light' across from me. They seem confident, even arrogant, in the power of their weapon. But I know better than to underestimate an enemy.

"So, is that all?" I say, bluntly.

The 'Order of Light' member raises an eyebrow at my blunt question, their expression becoming slightly irritated.

"No, that is not all. We have a proposal for you, Veldanta."

The 'Order of Light' member takes a deep breath, as if psyching themselves up for what they're about to say.

"We propose a truce. We will not use the 'Blade of Enlightenment' against you, on the condition that you renounce your rule and surrender your power to us."

"Not going lie, I'd rather have war, then surrender." I say.

The 'Order of Light' member sighs, almost looking disappointed.

"We had a feeling you would say that. Very well, if it is war you want, then war it shall be. You will regret your decision, Veldanta. The 'Blade of Enlightenment' will show you just how much you have underestimated us."

"Okay." I say, as I walk away.

The members of the 'Order of Light' watch me go, their expressions a mix of disappointment and anger. They had hoped to resolve things peacefully, but it seems that war is unavoidable now.

As I leave the castle, I can feel their eyes on my back, their gaze almost burning into me.

As I get farther and farther away from the castle, I can't help but feel a chill run down my spine. The 'Order of Light' is a powerful and dangerous enemy, and they now have a weapon that could potentially pose a serious threat to me and my rule.

I know that things are about to get much more difficult and bloody than before.

I am sitting on my throne, contemplating the meeting with the 'Order of Light' and the threat of the 'Blade of Enlightenment'. As I sit there, I can hear the sounds of my subjects going about their daily duties, the hustle and bustle of my castle filling the air.

I know that the threat of war is looming, and that I have to be prepared for it. I must ensure that my people are protected and that we are ready to face whatever the 'Order of Light' throws at us.

As I'm thinking about the coming conflict, my butler approaches me, his expression serious.

"My king, may I speak with you for a moment?"

"Yes." I say.

The butler nods, folding his hands in front of him.

"There have been reports of increased demonic activity near the borders of our territory. It seems that the 'Demon Lords of Chaos' are taking advantage of the rising tensions between us and the 'Order of Light' to try and gain more territory."

I'm not surprised by this news, but it is still alarming. The 'Demon Lords of Chaos' are a cunning and ruthless enemy, and we can't let them gain too much power and territory.

I turn to the butler.

"Have our troops been alerted and mobilized?"

The butler nods, his expression still serious.

"Yes, my king. Our troops have been put on high alert and are ready to respond to any threat from the 'Demon Lords of Chaos'. We have also sent scouts to gather information on their movements and intentions."

Good. We have to be ready for anything.

I lean back in my throne, lost in thought. The 'Demon Lords of Chaos' and the 'Order of Light' are both dangerous threats, and it's going to take all of my cunning and strength to keep them both at bay.

As I contemplate the situation, my butler speaks up again.

"My king, there is something else I need to bring to your attention."

"Yes?" I say.

The butler's expression becomes even more serious, his voice dropping to a low, almost grave tone.

"I have received reports of strange activity in the area surrounding the 'Forbidden Forest' to the south of our territory."

"I'll go check it out." I say.

The butler nods, although he looks somewhat concerned.

"Very well, my king. But please, be careful. The 'Forbidden Forest' is a dangerous place, and no one knows what lies within its depths."

I nod, already getting up from my throne.

"I understand, but this is something that I need to investigate personally. Don't worry, I'm more than capable of handling whatever lies within the forest."

After 4 hours of walking, I'm finally at the forbidden forest. As I enter the 'Forbidden Forest', the aura of the place is palpable, almost like a physical presence. I can feel the power and energy coursing through the air, making my hair stand on end.

I look around, my senses on high alert. Something is definitely not right here.

I continue walking deeper into the forest, watching my surroundings carefully. The trees and plants themselves seem to be alive, their leaves and branches twitching and moving as if they have a mind of their own.

Nah, fuck this. I'm nuking the whole forest. I reach out my hand and focus my energy, preparing to release a powerful energy blast that would annihilate the entire forest.

Just as I'm about to release the blast, I suddenly hear a voice calling out from behind me.

"Wait! Please, don't do that!"

I turn around, seeing a small, hooded figure emerge from the shadows.

The small figure holds up their hands in a placating gesture, their voice filled with desperation and pleading.

"Please, don't attack. I mean you no harm, I promise. I just want to talk."

The small figure lets out a sigh of relief and lowers their hood, revealing the face of a young, somewhat nervous-looking woman.

"Thank you, thank you so much. I was worried you would attack without even listening to what I had to say."

"Can you just...spit it out?" I say.

The woman nods, her expression becoming serious.

"Of course. I am the Guardian of the Forest. This forest is under my protection, and I cannot allow you to destroy it with your power."

I raise an eyebrow, my irritation and annoyance at this development growing.

"What do you mean, you're the Guardian of the Forest? And why can't I destroy this forest if I want to?"

The Guardian of the Forest shakes her head, her expression firm.

"You do not understand. This forest is not just a piece of land or a resource for you to exploit as you please. It is a living, breathing entity, with its own spirit and energy. Destroying it would be like killing a living being, and the consequences would be catastrophic."

The Guardian of the Forest senses my growing anger and frustration, but she remains firm in her stance.

"Please, listen to me. I understand that you are powerful and that you are used to having things your way, but you cannot simply do as you please here. This forest has its own laws and its own balance, and they cannot be ignored or disrespected."

I reach out my hand and release a powerful energy blast, intending to reduce the entire forest to ash.

The Guardian of the Forest watches in horror, her eyes wide with shock and disbelief. She screams out in protest

"No! Stop! You don't understand what you're doing!"

The forest is suddenly engulfed in a massive explosion, the surrounding trees and foliage bursting into flames and collapsing into ash.

The Guardian of the Forest falls to her knees, her expression one of shock and despair.

"No... what have you done? You've destroyed the forest, and with it, you've destroyed the balance of this entire realm."

"Uh, cry about it." I say, bluntly.

The Guardian of the Forest looks up at me, tears streaming down her face.

"You have no heart. You have no regard for the lives and spirits of those around you. Is this the way you want to rule, with violence and destruction??"

"This was in my territory, I can do whatever I want." I say.

The Guardian of the Forest shakes her head, her voice trembling with anger and sadness.

"Your territory or not, you cannot just do as you please. You have no regard for other forms of life or the balance of nature. You only care about exerting your power and getting what you want, no matter what the cost."

I scoff at the Guardian of the Forest's words, my irritation only growing.

"Who are you to tell me what I can and cannot do? I am a powerful being with the ability to shape the world to my will. Why should I care about some stupid tree and its so-called balance?"

The Guardian of the Forest looks at me with sadness and disappointment etched on her face.

"You don't understand. The forest is not just some trees, it is a living being with its own spirit and energy. Destroying it will have consequences that you cannot even begin to imagine. This is not some game to you, this is reality. You cannot simply do whatever you want without thinking about the repercussions."

The Guardian of the Forest watches as I walk away, her expression one of resignation and sorrow.

As I leave the now-destroyed forest, I can't help but feel a pang of regret and shame. The Guardian's words have stirred something inside me, and I can no longer ignore the feeling that I have made a grave mistake.
