'What is this?' Aaron thought to himself
Aaron lay swaddled in a blanket. He could not move. He could not speak. Worst of all, he could not understand, how had
gotten here and, where exactly was the here that he had come to be located. Aaron gazed at the woman who held him. The
had been staring into each other's eyes for what like an eternity, searching for something that the other might possess.
Aaron thoght back to the moment he woke up; ordering his thoughts in an attempt to find logic in his situation.
Surrounded in darkness; Aaron might as well have been sleeping. His awareness of the world around him was greatly dimin-
ished. When he opened his eyes he would have screamed bloody murder, had he actually been capable. Giants surrounded him on
all sides, they towered above hime; blocking out the light and casting a silhouette over their faces. He tried to struggle,
but his arms and legs would not respond to his commands, instead feebly twitching now and again. The Giantess already had him
in her clutches. Aaron closed his eyes as she pulled him in closer, the end was here and he didn't need to watch the creature
sink it's teeth into his body. Just as he imagined her taking the first of what Aaron assumed would be many bites, she
puckered her lips and sweetly kissed him on the cheek.
Taken aback by the experience, Aaron looked at her the woman with curiousity.
'Giants don't exist!' Aaron thought to himself.
Indeed, in Aaron's mind giants and the like, were only things found in fairytales. He continued to strugle against his odd
captivity. It was at this point that Aaron finally shifted his body enough to be able look down, and see the changes to his
body.
'WHAT THE HOLY HELL HAS HAPPENED TO ME'
A string of mental curses floated aimlessly throughout his mind, but no matter how much he tried, nothing made it's way to his mouth. Covered in the blanket, Aaron managed to wiggle one of his arms free; the limb was fat with small pudgy slightly pink fingers. His mind zeroed in, knowing exactly what he was looking at; 'this is a baby arm'. He continued his colourful barrange, alternating between staring at his hand and continuos slews of expletives. After a time, resignation of having been reduced to an infant, finally began to take hold.
Aaron conteted himself as best he could to scan the room. Besides himesl, and the woman was supposed to be his new mother;
four other pairs were equally spaced out around the room. As he stared, he noticed the women and the men were smiling. Curious,
Aaron shifted to look behind the women holding him, and was greeted with a look of pure disgust painted across his face.
'Who in the fuck is this angry - ass lookin' mother fucker!'
Aaron studied is parents faces calml. He knew not their names yet, nor cold he say that he'd have understood them if he had. Whoever these people were, they did not speak English, and of all te languages he'd heard in his life, they did not speak any of those languages either. The woman was of some form of African ancestry, Aaron's approximation. She looked young, short hair but he guessed that she must have been letting it grow out, since her ends were uneven and parts were starting to brush up against her shoulders. She had almond colored eyes and a slight angle to her face that made her seem almost feline. Aaron's new father was the complete opposite; European background, decently tanned, not someone whol worked indoors yet a styled golden almost flaxen hair that spoke of status, money, and power.
'I guess I'll be on the lighter side this time around', Aaron jokingly thought.
Workerks moved about the room, cleaning and putting things away. Some of them spoke to each other in hushed voices, but still Aaron could not understand their words. There was a slight commotion earlier when his new mother decided to try feeding him by teet. The scuffle lasted no more than a few seconds and by the end of it he wound up nursing just to satisfy her so she'd stop rocking him. The entire experience was nauseating, but he suspected that this was going to be routine for a while and had better just get used to it, at least for the time being.
Two women made several trips arond the room, checking each woman and what aaron assumed, asking questions about the health of the babies. After what he considered might have been an hor or so, the women were gathered up and helped outside where a mass of people were cheering as each couple were placed into a carriage and escorted away. When Aaron's time came, the crowd went noticeably silent. His parents seemed put off by the reception they received, and Aaron's new father bristled visibly before climbing into the carriage.

Inside the cabin, Aaron noticed a tension building between the couple. Aaron thought to himself, If he could only manage to communicate with these two yong people. Sadly, that would not be the case. He'd managed to extricate on of his hands again from the blanket swaddling him, even in the darkness of the cabin he couuld make out the chubby mess before him; lacking depth control. Aaron's voice was an even worse affair, no matter how much he tried to form words, his lips and tongue refused to cooperate and all that managed to get out was a slurred goos and gahs.
Coming back to himself in the present. Aaron was startled by loud voices. His new parents had begun yelling. Although he couldn't understand their words; their context was obvious, they were argueing Aaron. He expected this coming, the man had been fuming since the first moment he'd seen him, and arriving at this big house which hadn't done anything to calm him. Aaron thought back to when all five carriages arrived. They were located insome kind of high scale cul de sac. When they exited carriage the other families were met by servants whom applauded and led them into the homes, but they did not receive the same reception. Upon entering the house, the servants had already gathered their possessions. The servants looked at the couple apologetically before letting their gaze rest on Aaron, then sharply turning away. The couple said nothing; moving aside to let the people exit the home peaceably. Aaron flinched as he heard the door slam shut as the woman carried him upstairs.
From his crib, Aaron watched as the arguement intensified. Finger pointing had joined loud voices unitl both had been replaced with objects being thrown around the room. All the while, the man kept walking back and forth stopping only temporarily to stare at Aaron.
'Hold on, is this guy seriously comtemplating hurting a defensless kid.' Aaron thought.
Aaron looked to the woman for some hint that she might protect him, but she sat on the bed not even looking at him.
'Okay, what is this, I've had enough.'
Aaron cast his thoughts out despeately hoping whoever did this to him had grown tired of this game; and were ready to let him go home. Everything had become too much to bear any longer.
'Where am I?'
'Why am I here?'
'Where is my brother?'
'Where is my sister?'
'WHERE IS MY MOTHER?'
Aaron's thoughts ran wild. His eyes bean shooting all over the place and for the first time since arrivin in this new world, the baby opened his mouth...and cried. A flurry of emotions took the room and the man finally snapped, reaching for his scabbard from the corner of the room, he unsheathed his sword and began crossing the room to silence the child, permanently. Raising the sword high into the air, the man swung.
-shink-
-clang-
The sword came down in a blur of motion and then stopped just as suddenly. Crashing into a blue glowing slightly transparent wall around the crib. Trning their aze, the man and Aaron were met by the glowing eyes of the woman; hands outstretch cupping the air in front of her. Turning her attention on the man, she opened her hands and turned her palms up. Soon the man was floating before being sent crashing across the room.
Aaron was staggered by what he witnessed.
'Magic...but...how?'
The woman crossed the room, placing herself in-between Aaron and the man. He sat up, placing his back against the wall. The man began speaking, he wasn't yelling anymore but voice sounded like he hadn't expect the woman to rect in that manner. Aaron watched intently, he couldn't understand their words but outcome could mean for him; life or death. All words died between the couupld, and they remained rooted in there spots; staring at the other. Aaron looked at the face of the young man, he had the desire to get closer but the man face showed he was hurt by something the woman said to him. Shaking his head slowly, the man got up; made one last statement and made his way out the room, slamming the door behind him. A few seconds later the door could be heard slamming shut.
Aaron took a deep breath, he was about to thank his lucky stars when he noticed the woman. She moved away from him and sat on the bed. With a body as of yet incapable of rolling over, Aaron couuld no longer see her clearly though he listened as she began to sniffle and cry.
'Yeah I get that.' Aaron thoght as he continued to stare at the ceiling.
With all the excitement gone, Aaron laid on his bak ruminated his situation. Having seen what his mother was capable of doing, Aaron thought maybe, someone brought him to this world using magic.
'No, that can't be. If magic is responsible, then why make me a baby. Aren't I supposed to show up in a dark room at a castle with nobles making a big deal about me saving the world.'
Each idea came and went, being rejected as illogical. More than tht he was on the verge of giving himself another panic attack. Visions of his tre body being found in his apartment, scared him to no end. Aaron tried to remain calm, but he was having extreme difficult with all the dark thoughts creeping into his mind. He kept thinking about his family. How would his nephew react to him being gone. Wold his nieces be okay. The thoughts wormed their way in one after the next. So much had occurred in the few hours since he had arrived. As he continued to ruminate, Aaron suddenly behan yawning.
'Why..am I'
yawn
'suddenly'
yawn
'so...tired'
Aaron found himself strugling to stay awake.
'Damn this toddlers body, not only am defenseless, but I also can't even keep myself conscious.'
Aaron declined rapidly, his mind became a fog as he struggled to remain alert. As he looked up he noticed the woman standing above him, her eyes sparkled with a low blue light. As Aaron lost the battle of consciosness, he slipped back into the void thinking;
'Is ... she... doing this?'
'no... fair.'
