University was so much different from high school. All of the pressure to receive good grades and become a successful person seemed to end once you reached this new height. The two of them could goof off and hang about without a care in the world.
Akihisa wanted to paint how he saw the world. That is why he was so excited by the medium known as digital art. He could draw but found it much easier to do it with the aid of a computer generating all of the images he desired to create.
The funny thing was that his ability literally allowed him to create anything out of thin air. He was a truly gifted person and was one of the strongest Nephilim in his own right. However, he didn’t like fighting. He preferred to make peace.
The two brothers were walking out and about within the grand city of Tokyo. The crowd of people making them look like another face in a sea of humans. Akihisa, a young man with purple-colored hair and eyes of the same color.
Then there was his brother Terios who had black-colored hair with red streaks amongst various strands and crimson red eyes that he inherited from his father. Looks like his brother took his features from their mother.
That’s when it happened… a person appeared to have snapped out of nowhere and started attacking innocents. People were trying to get away, but a middle-aged woman was not so lucky as she was stabbed by this maniac.
Her arm started to secrete with her red life force and upon seeing this that is when Akihisa leaped into action.
“What are you doing!? Why are you attacking these people!?” He questioned the mad man, but…
The man looked as if he was in a daze. His eyes were dull and lifeless as he didn’t even respond to Akihisa’s words instead he lunged at him… despite showing no ounce of emotion the intent to kill was there.
Everyone panicked, but Akihisa remained calm as he held out his hand to generate a super-condensed bullet of air, firing it towards the man’s head. It was basically as hard as a brick and certainly knocked him out cold from the moment of impact. Traces of blood were seen along his forehead.
“Don’t worry ma’am… I’ll make the pain go away real soon. I can heal you.” Akihisa mentioned, his purple eyes shifting to a gray hue as he started to heal the woman’s wounds with his divine purple aura. Once the damage had been healed the woman looked in awe but was also frightened by this unusual boy.
“I’ll heal you too... I don’t want there to be a chance of internal bleeding.” Akihisa said as he looked over to the crazed man.
Terios scoffed and shook his head at this retort. “Don’t waste your energy. That man isn’t worth healing, just let the cops handle him.”
“No… people just don’t snap for no reason. He must have been having a bad day or maybe he was possessed by a demon. It’s not normal for someone to just-”

Before he could finish that sentence a large spear impaled the man through the chest, blood spewing everywhere as all the citizens began to scream with horror. But, eventually, the muffled screams faded as well as everyone else, including the woman Akihisa, was tending to.
“What the hell!?” Akihisa yelled out in shock.
Soon descending from above was the Archangel Raphael. He descended from the clouds with elegance as he reclaimed his spear from the dead man’s body before he turned his attention towards the two Nephilim.
“Who the- no… you’re a damn Angel.” Terios mentioned as he looked at his brother. If only he hadn’t helped that woman… they shouldn’t have gotten involved in affairs that didn’t concern them.
“Can you feel that… this isn’t just any kind of Angel… this is the real deal.” Akihisa said with worry in his voice. A certain fear soon started to bubble in his stomach. People didn’t know it, but they weren’t natural… They were supernatural. And this divine force didn’t like that about them.
“I felt a demon’s influence here, but who would have thought it would lead me to a few Nephilims. Talk about killing two birds with one spear.” Raphael smirked.
“So, he was possessed? And you just killed him? I thought Angels were supposed to save pe-”
“Our job is to keep order. Demons… Nephilims.. You cause chaos. You cause people to do bad things. There’s a certain level of evil a person can achieve before it is deemed they aren’t worth saving.”
The Archangel Rapahel… tan skin… dark blond hair and an enchanted spear that made killing things a breeze. His height alone was intimidating, standing at seven feet tall. His robes covered what he was hiding and of course they were his favorite color of emerald green.
“No matter how bad a person becomes you shouldn’t give up on them. You don’t know how much it means to give someone chances to improve themselves. Everyone deserves that right!” Akihisa scolded the Angel.
“I really thought people did.” He said before shaking his head. “Chances, upon chances, upon chances. We have given humans so many chances to do good. But, nothing can fully eradicate the evil desires that plague their hearts. I am God’s best healer and even so… not even I can heal the disease known as man!”
Terios didn’t care about their debate whether man should be saved of eradicated. Instead he took action and charged towards the Archangel. He generated a strong torrent of water from his palms as he hurled it towards his foe, but…
It was easily deflected by the non-dominant arm of Raph and among with that smooth motion he prepared to impale Terios like a piece of meat. If it wasn’t for his brother stepping in front of him it would have been game over.
“Guugh!” Akihisa cried out in pain… the spear going through his stomach, but he managed to grab it so it would harm his brother.
“Damn it, Akihisa!” Terios cried.
Uncaring, Raph flung Akihisa as if he was removing a bug. He then back handed Terios the mere force of his strike enough to send the man flying back and causing the air to kick up.
Hard to believe I was just in class… contemplating sneaking out. Now… is there a chance I could die…?
For a moment… he was knocked out cold. When he came to, he looked around and saw the tall Angel towering over his brother. There was so much blood, more than he had remembered…
“Fuck!” Terios cursed.
“No…! I won’t let you harm him… if you want to send me to see my mom early, fine. But, at least allow my brother to live. Do you have… compassion in you?” Akihisa said as he placed a hand on Raph’s boot, slowly raising his head to look up at those cold emerald green eyes of his.
“I don’t have compassion for something that had no business living in the first place.” With this he raised his spear and was about to perform the finishing blow until…
“Nooooo!” Terios yelled.
Soon the raging flames of hell roared out, forcing Raph back and protecting Akihisa. The two looked on in confusion, but soon it was all made clear.
There he was… the Fallen Angel Azazel. Black hair, crimson red eyes, wearing a dark cloak, he stared at Raphael and then looked towards his boys.
“For the longest time in my life I’ve been afraid… afraid to change… afraid to love… and afraid to change.” Azazel said softly.
“Don’t start with me, traitor! Your words have no meaning to my ears.” Raphael scoffed.
“Maybe they don’t, but I’m still going to say it. I am free from those asinine laws of Heaven. I am free.” He then turned his head to look at his injured son. “With that freedom I became a father and my role as a father is to make sure no harm comes to my sons!”
