“Are you… Saying that we are… stuck outside?” Airi stuttered in response to Sora’s being the bearer of bad news.
Sora nodded and returned back to his seat with a long following sighs. The camp seemed to be have been erased from their minds, as this had successfully and fully occupied their minds. In a desperate attempt to not remain loitering around with three girls who saw him like a predator creature evolving with the night, Sora took his leave to scout around the area a bit. To Sora’s notice so far there were a lot of different bushes and berries laying around growing in the garden alongside all the flower and trees. A call of nature urged and made Sora peek twice around before undergoing his business outdoors.
“Sora, where are you heading off to?” Airi emerged behind from some bushes to his side and dropped her jaw when she took notice of Sora’s intention and ongoing process.
“What the heck…” Sora yelled embarrassed and pissed of Airi’s emergence.
“No, how, or why are you relieving yourself without notifying the rest of us,” Airi protested in her defense.
“Nevermind, can you stop looking my way, or what?” Sora furthered his complaint. “I have yet to finish,” Sora added anxiously stopping mid-way.
“Go ahead,” Airi blushed as she turned around swiftly.
“Do not fret, mine is a superior and ancient species if you got a good and long look at it,” Sora attempted to laugh off the awkwardness.
“Do not flatter yourself, it is to dim and dark, I barely catched a glimpse of your shadow,” Airi fussed. “Are you done?” Airi asked without turning.
Sora hastily finished relieving himself and zipped up his pants.
“Yeah, you may now turn around, milady,” Sora replied.
“Funny,” Airi answered and turned to Sora.
Sora approached some bushes and began to collect some berries from a various range of them. Airi pitched in after a while of observing him when they had gotten to a set of new ones.
“Not those ones,” Sora jumped in and removed Airi’s hand from the bushes. “Those one are poisonous,” Sora warned her.
“Thanks,” Airi blushed yet again while her hand plunged swiftly into her chest.
“I am afraid we do not have water for you,” Sora laughed.
“What do you mean?” Airi flusteredly ordered a clarification.
“Yeah, can not risk your highness catching male germs,” Sora gritted his teeth.
Airi fussed again and punched Sora’s chest once.

“Shut up,” Airi responded and took her leave.
After a while Sora returned back to his little “outside camp party of three females”. Sora put all the berries scattered around the picnic blanket. A variety of berries laid down and he sorted them separately one by one methodically.
“Are you really going to sort all of them?” Airi asked.
Sora nodded.
“While you are at, sort out them alphabetically wise too,” Airi complained.
“I will, in latin, do not worry,” Sora smiled with an obvious attempt to annoy.
“Why are you even this methodical at useless things?” Airi pestered on.
“All inventories are organized, it is easier that way when you want to you things available to you, why?” Sora humoured Airi with a response.
Airi sighed and forfeited after Sora had appealed with his inner gamer logic to her.
“You guys seem friendly,” Kayano stated.
“Not really,” Airi and Sora answered in unison.
Yui laughed at the entire endeavor. Finishing the nightly rations of the outer garden’s berries, Sora explained from left to right what berries he had collected, and later also named in latin following with the different tastes. While they dug in, a thought popped up in Sora’s mind.
“By the way, if you want to relieve yourselves, just go find some neat spot in the garden,” Sora stated out bluntly. “I did it earlier, so I will just remain put here for the rest of the night,” Sora smiled nonchalantly.
Airi reddened with newfound reason to be pissed, while Yui reddened for with embarrassment, and Kayano spat out some berries.
“How can you bring such a topic while we are eating?” Airi nagged furiously.
“Do all boys lack manner and are so vulgar, think of poor Yui! Kayano pointed at what appeared a shriveling and shrunken version of Yui.
Sora sighed loudly of the lack of understanding as to why it bothered them.
“Whatever, I am sorry, okay? It is my bad for being inconsiderate,” Sora apologized with his head held low.
“It is okay, do not worry about it,” Kayano forgave Sora.
“Think next time about being more considerate of your surroundings and company,” Airi finished her complaint.
A while later Airi took her leave and returned at a later point after some minutes. During her absence no words were spoken. Yui began to be more fidgety which could only indicate one thing.
“Come along Yui, and Airi, please keep an eye on Sora for us,” Kayano helped Yui up and looked at Airi.
Airi nodded and Sora let out yet another sigh. The lack of trust in males in general was lacking first handedly was hard felt, however with the upcoming school overnight camp it felt more reasonable. A few minutes later, Sora waved Airi off the picnic blanket and started to move and relocate it elsewhere nearby a larger chunk of tree.
“What are you doing?” Airi said.
“Being considerate,” Sora responded as Yui and Kayano returned behind them. “You guys can sleep around this tree, the wind is being blocked and it is thick enough to cover and shelter all three of you. Just keep the blanket and snuggle all three of you together underneath and you should be alright,” Sora explained and introduced them to their one night bed outside.
“What about… you?” Yui spoke out.
“I will find an alternative way, and I will sleep at a distance away from you guys, so that you feel more safe and comfortable than me creeping up on you in the middle of the night,” Sora waved his hand in response behind his back while taking his leave.
“Thanks... “ Kayano thanked the distant Sora.
Airi rushed up to catch up to Sora and grabbed his sleeve.
“You…” Airi attempted to speak.
“I will pass, you know that both of us being considerate will not work for either one,” Sora smiled as he interrupted Airi. “This will be me thanking you back for the delicious handmade picnic, I could tell it was you who made it from the style of it,” Sora persistently kept his smile. “And for you dressing up so endearingly,” Sora finished with a small laughter.
Airi punched Sora’s shoulder as an immediate response.
“Hope you freeze to death!” Airi embarrassingly and quietly yelled out. “And thanks…” Airi stuttered out only when Sora’s back was left as a shadowy figure in the distance, as he had fully blended with the passing night.
