Scot slowly opened his eyes, wiping the layer of solidified pus over them. His head felt as if it were going to explode, there was a constant throbbing to it. After regaining his clarity, what he saw both astounded and horrified him.
What the fuck is going on. He muttered under his breath. He stood up, body still aching. He was alright but what happened to the monster? Why wasn’t he dead?
The ugly childlike green creature or “Goblin” so he would call it for their similarity to the goblins within games, laid still. Its eyes were bulging out while its neck had a bright red tint to it which pointed towards the cause of death. There was also a suspicious looking book on top of the goblin but he paid it no attention, he had to first figure out what was going on.
Scot nervously looked over towards the girl that had her neck twisted and nearly threw up. Her body was covered in a viscous white fluid. Hope you get a better end the next life if there is one He looked away.
So first, that girl is dead. Alright. Secondly, goblins now exist, hope necromancers are a thing now. Third, I killed that goblin. Where’s mah loot?
His eyes brightened in both anticipation and joy. Ignoring the question of “How did the goblin die?” Scot walked over to the leatherback book on top of the goblin. He picked it up and opened it. An ethereal otherworldly voice spoke to him.

Scot was happy that he could now learn magic but disappointed as it wasn’t necromancy like he had hoped for. However, this proved that necromancy should exist if there are now other magic spells from RPGs. He replied
“Yes”
A surge of information implanted itself into his mind. Scot lifted his arm and aimed his finger towards the already cold body of the goblin he killed. He felt power coursing through his body which concentrated at the tip of his finger. The now fully charged spell shot towards the goblin’s carcass pzzt* crackle*.
“AH!”
Scot hurriedly climbed up the staircase after seeing the goblin’s body jolt It wasn’t dead yet!. However, he then realized it was just a reflex response from the nerves and heaved a sigh of relief.
Oh shit, I could use this to stun goblins and then kill them! He thought.
The only evidence that the spell he used was actually real and not a delusion was the slightly charred mark on the carcass. The scent of burnt meat covered the fishy smell which had lingered around.
Wait, if this world now has goblins from rpgs, does it have a status screen too?
“Status”
Scot Brown Health: 14 (1/min) Mana: 28 (2/min) Age: 16 CON: 7 INT: 14 DEX: 11 WIS: 12 Skills (Active) : Lesser Shockbolt STR: 8 Skills (Passive) : Frenzy
What's Frenzy?
Frenzy After user experiances what they percieve as a "Life Threatening Situation" the user will lose consciousness and their body will attempt self preservation instinctively.
While I expected this, I didn’t think I was this much of a coward. Well, at least i’m somewhat smart, time to go down the mage route! Well that passive skill explains a lot about why I always blacked out and ended up beating everyone up.
bzzt* Students! This is your vice principal speaking, I advise everyone to stay inside their classrooms and blockade their doors. For students in the hallways, go to the closest classroom you see. I repeat, please stay inside class and blockade the doors, do not panic. I’ve already contacted the police and they should be arriving soon so do- . . . what th-”
The announcement was abruptly cut off, Scot thought that some goblin probably got to the vice principal.
The school has three floors and I saw a lone goblin on the third floor so I should visit there first. Scot gave one last look at the crime scene before shuffling away with newfound confidence.
Standing beside a door leading to the third floor, he breathed in and out in order to calm himself. You got this he thought. Then, he rushed out only to see a goblin dragging the body of Jason, the classmate who had mocked him this morning. Jason was dead, no kidding, his eyes were gouged out and he was already gutted. The scene in the hallway was almost like it came out of a cheap horror film with too much blood and guts everywhere. Corpses were nowhere to be seen except for Sir dead Jason.
The goblin is probably going to eat him Scot thought to himself.
Wait a second… How many goblins does it take to take care of an entire classroom or … the entire floor of students? After some quick math, Scot had a strange expression on his face. The goblins were obviously armed from how they gutted Jason but most importantly, a single human could kill many goblins. The goblins were like ugly malnourished children with weapons, barely posing a threat to an adult human being.
Putting aside his thoughts, Scot used his lesser shock bolt on the goblin. Without putting up any fight at all, it just fell and face planted on the cold hard floor. Scot walked over and picked up the dagger which was conveniently on the goblins right hand and stabbed it in the chest, twice for good measure.
He almost pitied the creature at how weak it was, if not for what he had seen before. Scot shivered, he wasn’t going to get any sleep after this day was over.
This time, the goblin didn’t drop anything at all. Scot cursed at it for being stingy but he then realized that he was probably lucky to get a skillbook.
Dagger in hand, he left the bodies and continued walking down the hallway and peered into the closest classroom. He cringed at the sight of twenty students huddled against the wall with the teacher hiding amongst them. Only five male students were left to fight against a goblin wielding a club which looked like it was on steroids, one of which was strikingly handsome and gave orders to the others.

Ah shit, that looks like Lucas, the dude from debate.
Another five were dead, it was like Christmas but without the green. One had their head blown off, two were badly mutilated, and the other three died from too much bashing. Scot soon decided it was a better idea to simply walk away rather than to throw himself into this hopeless cause.
After walking no more than five steps, suddenly, four goblins down the hallway had seen him and were rapidly running towards him Oh fuck me sweet baby jesus. One was armed with a dagger while the rest held clubs. Their short scrawny legs only gave him so much time to think. The cooldown for the shockbolt is too long so I guess it's the goblin on steroids!
He bolted into the classroom and slammed the door shut, blocking out any of the goblins from interfering. The twenty students and teacher huddled at the back of the classroom stared at him in disbelief while the five combatants were too distracted to care.
Scot hurriedly cast his shockbolt at the steroid goblin, stunning it. Another combatant took this opportunity to bash a chair against the goliath, breaking the chair in the process. Ignoring the attackers, le giant goblin turned its head and glared at Scot. He felt as if his world was ending, dropping his dagger at the same time.
Scot came up with a plan while dashing away from the steroid goblin. “Hey Lucas! Grab the sharp foot of the chair and stab the eye of the damned thing or something!”
Lucas replied, shocked “Dude, that thing is huge, aren’t you sending me to die by telling me to do that?”
The goblin sent his club crashing down onto Scot but he dodged it in the nick of time, rolling under a desk. “It’s okay! I can stun it for a second or two! Distract it for me first!” He shouted back.
“Fuck! Fine! I’ll do it!” Lucas exasperatingly exclaimed
One buff looking dude with a nice body flung a chair at the goblin in order to get its attention. It looked over, sending its glare piercing at the buff dude who was sweating all over the place.
Scot sent a bolt of electricity flying towards the goblin, stopping it from further attacking him. Then, Lucas used this opportunity to stab through the right eye of the goblin, penetrating into its brain. The goblin twitched it’s veiny body for a few seconds but soon laid still.
The goblin dropped two skill books and an iron spear, immediately causing Scot to celebrate in his mind. Mine! He tried to grab both skillbooks but one was snatched by the handsome boy along with the iron spear. Fight me you handsome asshole! Scot thought. He quickly opened his skillbook before anyone else tried to take it away.

“YES! YES! YES!” Scot yelled as if his life were on the line, gaining strange looks from the surrounding students.
After the information was imprinted into his mind, he immediately waved, inputting the rest of his mana as fuel. His hands and focused on activating the spell. The other students had already calmed down but waited for Scot to finish doing his voodoo. They spoke with each other while watching in amusement at Scot’s actions.
“What is he doing?”
“Looks like he’s casting a spell.”
“But it’s so different from the flashy spell from before!”
“True. It could also be a di-”
Suddenly, a large rift opened in the middle of the classroom and a skeleton with white bones and a blue flame within its eye sockets walked out of the rift. Scot grinned maniacally at the thought of these skeletons wielding swords while rushing through crowds of helpless goblins. Sadly, the skeletal minion came unarmed.
The surrounding bystanders at this point were frightened at the sight of a walking skeleton coming from who knows where.
“Wh...wh.. What is that thing!?” Asked the teacher
“Don’t worry! This is Bob, Bob is a nice skeleton right Bob?”
The skeleton bobbed its head up and down as if displaying its friendliness but the appearance did not look very convincing. The only sound it produced was the clacking from its jaws, keeping a constant grin at all times. Scot made it do some tricks such as doing backflips and such while testing its punching strength. To his delight it was as flexible as an acrobat can be and also packed quite a punch.
“Well, we should first introduce ourselves.” The handsome boy intervened, attempting to calm the audience.
“Of course, I’m Scot, and. . . I am a WIZARD . . . BEHOLD!”
Scot threw a shockbolt at the ceiling which caused everyone to gaze in awe, or so he hoped. The handsome boy Lucas stepped up,
“I’m Lucas from the debate team, I just got an ability that lets me triple the damage of an attack with a piercing weapon, these are my classmates”
The other four combatants introduced themselves, the one with a buff physique was Josh, the skinny but surprisingly skillful one was Jake, the one with dirty brown hair and cool blue eyes was Jayesh, and finally, the fat one who makes one want to smile was Jack.
The desks and chairs were all strewn about in a messy fashion, completely unlike the ordered array it once was placed in. Scot inquired “So . . . Lucas, what crazy shit happened in this classroom?”
Lucas winced, “The monster came in through the door and smacked our classmates to death. It also seems like this is happening throughout the entire school from the announcement.”
Realization dawned upon some of the members in the audience. Some students already knew that this was occuring throughout the entire school building but the rest were too afraid during the fight to think about anything other than not dying.
Another student stammered out “What about our families? Are th-”
Lucas threw a glare at the student to keep his mouth shut but it was too late, the damage had been done. The rest of the students devolved into a fit of hysterical crying and sobbing
“I want my mommy!”
“I wanna go home!”
Scot looked at them with a guilty face, he had planned to abandon them after all. He also began tearing up after the adrenaline wore off, both in disgust at himself and worry for his family you fucking moron, they are also human beings, they have families too. You tried to leave them just because you were scared, goddammit Scot are you even a human being!?
“Alright, let it all out but we need to get ready to face other goblins too. Also, I think the world has changed into an rpg from that blue screen we saw. Think or say status, try it.” said Lucas
“What blue screen?” asked Scot, confused
“Everyone got a blue screen telling us that a system was going to take over. You didn’t get one?” Asked Lucas with an inquisitive gaze.
“Oh shit, now that I think about it, I think I got one but ignored it.” replied Scot
The rest of the students along with the teacher opened up their status and had bewildered looks on their faces. After recovering his dagger, Scot asked with a sly appearance, “Hey Lucas, do you know how to use that spear?”
“Nope, but i'm sure we could all trust a human wielding a weapon instead of another monster after all that happened.” Lucas shot back.
Damn. Disappointed by his failure to gain some extra benefits, Scot sighed and responded, “So what’s the plan? I’m pretty sure there's four goblins waiting outside the door.”
Lucas gave an annoyed look to Scot but decided that it was better to keep the matter at rest to deal with what was important. He spoke with a righteous tone, “So we all know that the goblins drop loot and the world is now an rpg right? So first we should kill the goblins outside the classroom and help the other students. Thereby, we will group up and eliminate every enemy we find easily.”
“But what about the loot distribution?” Asked Jack, his man boobs jiggled along with his belly as he spoke. Disregarding the comical scene, Lucas replied “It will be based on merit.”
Scot and some other students including Jack didn’t look convinced but went with it. Now that these guys are safe, I should go alone since it will be much more efficient that way. Lucas gave orders for every male student to grab a weapon. This led to a strange scene of fourteen boys wielding classroom items ranging from chairs to pencils. The dude with a pencil got strange looks from the other kids.
Readying his shockbolt, Scot stood alert at the back of the group. His skeletal minion stood at the front wielding a dagger while Lucas stood right behind it with Josh, the buff dude. Lucas began to countdown,
“Ready?”
“3”
“2”
“1”
Scot’s skeleton threw the door open.
