So the Akatsuki appeared in part 1, Tsukasa rizzed up Konan and made her a good guy, he did the same to Tayuya and Kin.. the reason why kin isn't here is because she was killed off by Yukimura during the Konoha Crush Arc.

Fu is also one of tsukasa's love interests and we get introduced to three new characters; Sena, Kobayashi & Sai.

Guren is killed off too early by the assassin in the second arc in part 2.

if you wondering why Sasuke never left the village is because it's an alternate timeline in which Sasuke decided to stay in the village.

Karin is also here in the story early on and in the leaf village since why not... (off screen)

Part 2 in this story is darker towards the bounty arc and onwards. the only filler arc is the time travel arc so you can skip that arc if you want.

Taiku and Rin are two new characters added as teammates to Sena.

yes... it gets darker and no.. there is no best friend saving other best friend from darkness ass plot. so enjoy part 2 i guess.
