"HUUURRRRAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Shouted a familiar, deep tone as it reverberated across the disoriented forest. The otherworldly battle had stripped off the lushness as 2 entities reigned hellfire upon the land, scorching it in a vile crimson!

To the naked eye, it would seem like an incomprehensible phenomenon, a result brought forth by streaks of scarlet and amethyst, scavenging the terrain, leaving nothing in their wake!

These 2 figures were none other than Roshi, the 4 tails Jinchuruki, and the otherworldly demon, Moryo.

The duo clashed at breakneck speeds, displaying an unfathomable power only regular humans could only dream of attaining.

*BOOM*

*BZZZZZ*

*BOOM*

Nevertheless, their ferocity remains unwavering, showering the terrain with the stench of death.

The 2 entities continued to blur, a death battle revolving solely around Taijutsu.

Though everyone else was advised against using Taijutsu, Roshi was canceled out. With a tailed beast inside him, it would be impossible for him to succumb to Moryo's temptations as the 4 tails inside him can immediately ward off the bind.

And so, the dance continued.

Roshi pressed on through resilience, power, and mental fortitude, wildly exchanging fists!

But Moryo was more calculated and much more experienced, his analytical gaze easily locating openings, evading Roshi's precarious maneuver, and countering with even greater force!

Hence, it didn't take a genius to get a lead on the situation. The former equivalence of the scale had shifted in another's favour.

Though both entities proved formidable, Moryo seemed significantly better. He was like an enhanced version of Roshi!

"Damn it!" Roshi mumbled, the force in his punches diminishing, and his vision blurring due to overexhaustion.

After all, he had been pierced in the heart, and though the wound had been stitched, courtesy of 4 tails, it was still pretty fatal and he needed time to rejuvenate.

"Hahaha!" Moryo laughed, subsequently launching a jab through Roshi's torso.

"Ugh!" He grumbled before his feet lifted off the ground, and he flew an entire kilometer, scraping through the earth!

*BOOM*

Dust started to settle, and with a single swipe of his hand, the exhausted Roshi was visible.

"Huff, huff..." Roshi panted, his back bent, and his body leaned forward as he eyed the demon with a flickering gaze. His body would give in at any moment.

The plan was to blast a tailed beast bomb, producing a chakra too immense for Moryo to fully absorb, hence, the residual chakra would obliterate him.

The only attack that could produce such a frightening force was the tailed beast bomb.

But even that theory in itself was a liability, which is where someone else intervenes to exclude that liability; none other than Namikaze Hayato, with his Chakra Dissipation Technique.

By simply touching Moryo, the aura in the vessel he's occupied will immediately dissipate, and with his weakened state, Roshi will launch a tailed beast bomb!

That was the plan!

But...

"Damn it!" Roshi uttered, falling to one knee.

He was only able to battle this long through unrivaled tenacity and sheer will, but even that has its limits.

Moryo gazed at the exhausted individual with predatory delight, claiming in a deep tone, "Kneeling before me? That's how it should've been from the start!"

"!"

However, his ecstasy had come to a halt as an ominous premonition lingered in the air.

The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.

With his peripheral vision, he could ascertain multiple presences dashing across the terrain at high speeds, using the unrooted trees, and debris as concealment.

Swiping his gaze across the terrain, Moryo roared, "REVEAL YOURSELVES!"

*BOOM*

The slithering protrusion from his back flattened the terrain, removing all obstacles!

"!"

*CLANK*

And the demon's hunch was right, invited by the resilience of a white-eyed youth who clashed Kunais with his arm!

'Armour?' Ryohei mused.

The clanking sound evidenced the use of metallic garments of some sort, but whatever; Ryohei discarded his thoughts, as it proved of no importance right now.

"DIE MORTAL!"

Moryo roared as his tentacles regained vitality, brimming with murderous intent on discarding this youth here and now!

"Heavenly Rotation!" Ryohei countered, a vortex of blue surrounding him, repelling all within a meter range. As a result, Moryo reluctantly took a step back, but...

"!"

Once again, he found himself startled as a 2nd signature seemed to be closing the distance...

Emerging from hiding was another youth, whose most noteworthy feature was her vermillion eyes exuding a charming gleam, in which even Moryo the demon, found himself momentarily ensnared!

Though the surroundings were stained crimson, the crimson that registered in Moryo's eyes was her vermillion eyes designed with 3 tomoes.

Had it been a human, the Genjutsu surely would work, but not for this higher being!

Moryo shook it off, his gaze sharpening at the rapidly closing youth, but...

He was unable to move?!

Looking below, he noticed that the ground wasn't even beneath him, replaced by a suction force that seemed to suck him into another dimension.

"This!"

Moryo grumbled, understanding this was only a Genjutsu of another caliber!

"How is this possible?!" He grumbled.

Unbeknownst to the demon, there seemed to be a parchment inscribed in Fuinjutsu language on his leg.

"Perfect Ryo," Kaede whispered, complimenting Ryohei who had managed to plant the inscription when he had clashed with the demon.

-----

Name: Kōgeki Genjutsu Fuin (Enhanced Illusionary Seal)

Description: The Enhanced Illusionary Seal is a specialized Fuinjutsu inscription designed to significantly enhance the potency of genjutsu techniques when applied to the target. The seal is typically inscribed on a small paper tag or scroll, which can be discreetly attached to the enemy during combat.

Activation: Upon activation by the user, the seal resonates with the target's chakra system, creating a temporary link that amplifies the effects of any genjutsu cast on the target. This amplification increases the intensity, duration, and realism of the genjutsu, making it more difficult for the target to discern reality from illusion.

Despite its powerful effects, the Kōgeki Genjutsu Fuin requires a significant amount of chakra to activate and maintain its amplification effect. The user must expend a considerable portion of their chakra reserves to sustain the link between the seal and the target's chakra system, which can be taxing, especially during prolonged battles or when facing multiple opponents.

-----

"NOOOO!" Moryo roared, his tentacles lashing out erratically, reflecting his inner rampage.

The hectic frenzy approached Kaede, who despite her predicament, retained an aura of nonchalance as her scarlet eyes reflected the amethyst downpour.

"Heavenly Rotation!" Ryohei declared, repelling the tentacles that had almost plunged through Kaede.

"HAYATO ANY MOMENT NOW!" Ryohei called, tone laced with desperation.

*RUSTLE*

The rustling of leaves could be heard as the silhouette of a familiar youth trudged on the leaves, approaching Ryohei calmly. Revealing himself out in the open, the silhouette presented himself to be none other than Namikaze Hayato.

"Yeah," Hayato muttered, raising his sword, and pointing the tip skyward.

His sapphire eyes morphed into an emotionless grey, and an immense colourless hue engulfed his sword. No one but Hayato could visualise this odd phenomenon. According to Ryohei's analysis, Hayato was pouring every ounce of chakra into this technique by imbuing the entirety of his sword.

Finally, the process was complete, and Hayato's eyes retained its former sapphire as a result of severe chakra exhaustion, while his sword had been imbued with an immense power sufficient for the next course of action.

*BOOM*

Hayato lunged forth, fracturing the earth beneath him as he plunged his way through Moryo's tentacle onslaught.

In a split second, he had closed the distance. The world was at a standstill, as his sword ever so slowly aimed for Moryo's heart!

*SHLUK*

Darkness.

There was no other way to describe his current plight. He had found himself in a Genjutsu, where it seemed as though he was being sucked into a black hole, and after that... All that remained was darkness. However, it was a darkness he had adapted to his entire life, a darkness he embraced.

Such emotions deviated from the normalcy of human standards; if humans found themselves stuck in this darkness with no escape, they would lose their minds.

However, this entity was a demon of another world, who had lived in darkness and solitude for his whole life. After all, he had been sealed by the Priestess of the Land of Demons.

That's how it had always been.

To seal away his immense power, the ancestors of long ago had constructed a seal to safeguard the world from his malevolent influence.

Why was he sealed?

He sought the destruction of this world, and establishing a new rule where he'd be the king, but there would always be one or another to stop him.

This mainly stemmed from his inability to merge with the priestess. No vessel would be perfect to contain his power, but her's. However, the priestess would deny his existence and continued to serve as the pivot of his sealing through the generations.

As such, he could only grit his teeth silently in the darkness. His passion for world dominance remained unwavering, stemming from an insatiable hunger to accomplish his goals no matter what. He was not one to give up.

And so, he remained sealed, as he knew one day, the seal would weaken, or another will awaken.

For 10 years, he managed to evade the scrutinising gaze of the Shinobi world by laying low. While the majority of his power was sealed from the priestess back then, who sought the assistance of Yamanaka Aiko and her team, a remnant shard of his was able to escape.

And so, he remained in hiding, hopping from one body to the next. He was forced to change bodies from time to time as the human flesh was incompatible with his energy source.

And finally, by a stroke of luck, he managed to find a vessel which was able to relatively withstand his corrosive force. This said person seemed to share a subtle, almost invisible connection with the priestess, but not anything major. Hence, the new vessel was still too weak, but would work for now.

And now, that very vessel he occupied was soon to reach its limits, which was the reason for his urgency to take over the 4 tail Jinchuruki. Indeed, this vessel was worthy of holding his immense power, but...

He was close to fulfilling his ambition...

So very close...

But was stopped once again.

Ruminating on his plight, Moryo thought to himself, 'No one should be able to get close to me as long as I lash out my attacks. This illusion will also falter soon, it's weakening! I'll prev-'

Suddenly, light had infiltrated the darkness. He found himself back at the forest, and the sudden transition was rather strange.

He regained a sense of nostalgia as he breathed the refreshing air of the disoriented terrain.

However, that nostalgia was only short-lived, just a microsecond, as he felt a painful sensation through his chest.

As he gazed below, a yellow-haired youth had planted his sword right through his chest with a smirk gracing his exhausted countenance.

Moryo's eyes unfurled in disbelief, as he found the aura in his vessel was rapidly depleting.
