Eyes twitching, I spring upward, “wo-ah.” Immediately after gaining my balance was a piercing pain along with memories flooding forward. The feeling of air gliding past causing me to crack open one eye. No no no, dread creeping up my spine at the ground getting closer my arms start flinging around unconsciously. Snapping each branch in my way the momentum I have just, stops. Lying there, on the ground, my body only registering the crack.
I don’t want to move. It... hurts. What do I remember? First ,this place sucks, second, each and every plant seemingly wants you dead, and third... it shifts. “Ha Ha HAHAHAH... ow.” Should I... just stop. Why keep fighting, what do I gain? Life, ha, how laughable, we could die at any moment, what kind of life is that.
The image of our whole group arrowing forward, my determination flares. Pain rapidly dulling I push myself up, I can do this. If one were to observe the eyes of our wanderer, they would see a radiating faint green glow. One, two, three, going from a slow walk to a full sprint, “if I can’t plan a path... I’ll just keep moving.” With a, let's say, interesting, smirk, he just keeps going.
Unknown to him, however, the forest was seemingly following him. With the branches and leaves reaching towards his direction. Feeling the air brushing past me, “how fast can it shift.” Skidding to a stop, “what was that!” Hearing a disturbance in the distance, “there!”
Rushing off in the direction the disturbance came from, he wasn’t prepared for what he shall experience. Rushing through the thicket with reckless abandon he failed to realize no cuts were appearing, rather the plants avoided harming him. Getting closer and closer to the disturbance I squint at the voices, they sound panicked, I need to hurry! Feeling more and more light hit me, I burst out into a clearing. Under first observation, I see a tree with crystalline leaves, the group along with Abi, and a... eyes widening. How can a wolf be so massive? Towering over everyone, the wolf had pure white fur with chilling blue highlights.
Seeing the fear on their face I snap out of my daze, realizing the noise was them panicking. Just as I’m about to rush in and attempt to help them the wolf moves. Taking a step its fur starts glowing a dazzling blue that just the sight of chills the body. In but an instant small shards of ice form around it. Before any of us could even process such a sight they blasted forward piercing all their chests.

Falling to my knees I’m left staring, as blood leaves their body, as they appear shocked, as they fall, one, by, one. As Abis' body falls a deep well of sadness burst within. Watching as it gets closer, until, it collapses onto the ground. The sadness vanishing, leaving nothing. Then, rage, a rage that could encompass the world itself.
Staring dead at the wolf I slowly stand, one foot at a time. Each step causing ripples, the trees swaying, the grass straining against an unseen force. The wolf seemingly startled, with its hairs standing up, looks over. Watching as it takes a step back, my anger only strengthens. The wolf shaking at the sight before it, a creature so small compared to itself could only be terrified, seeing those pure green glowing eyes that held a power it never imagined. Unseen by both a small amount of blood from the bodies was making its way towards the tree.
Observing the now much closer wolf, it seemed to get its bearings as the temperature was dropping with ice crystals forming. Watching as they were sent at me the grass around just blasted forward, extending and stopping every shard. Just staring at it as it continued to send more.
Having enough, the grass around it shoots up piercing through its legs, avoiding anything vital. With it quickly falling at the retraction of the blades they quickly wrap around it. Continuing towards it, “you gave them a quick death so I shall grant you the same.” With the most monotone voice that has ever come from me. All the blades of grass underneath it tear through it, killing it immediately.
Having this feeling of emptiness my teeth clench, the grass seemingly affected ripped apart causing blood, organs, and bone to explode, dyeing everything around red except me. The grass retracting back as though nothing occurred, I’m left there feeling none the fuller. Staring up, it soon gets dark. Turning my stare towards the bodies, their expressions are still of shock and horror. Noticing something I look at the still pristine crystalline leaved tree except the leaves were now red.
Incapable of holding back my laugh I let out a laugh that could send people running. Looking down, my hands are there. I’m a monster, “haha, I’m a monster!” Walking toward the strange tree I attempt to use this ability by having a spike protrude stabbing into me, but it doesn’t work. “Why! Why won’t you end me!”
Attempting to make the leaves shake, they do, attempting to shrink the tree, it shrinks. Smashing my head into the tree repeatedly just causes it to cushion the blows. Attempting to end myself in other ways just caused the plant life to save me. Being lost I mindlessly bury the bodies. Making markers out of sticks. The fatigue getting to me the pain reappears and I lose consciousness.
