Seeing people gather around us gave me a headache. This excited The Feng brothers because they believed they would win against a non-super-powered individual.
They were born with the legacy of the Fuxi. Which was a mythos legacy.
Mythos Legacies were the most intriguing out of all the others as it was considered a bloodline legacy awakened from the descents of said mythological entity. However not all mythological legacies were bloodline inherited, some legacies were simply given at random from the will of their entity or some tests would be coordinated in another realm to find a worthy candidate.
Everyone in the Feng clan had this legacy since they were all direct descendants of the legendary Fuxi.
They both transformed into half snakes with their bottom half being that of a snake with forked tounges and predator eyelids. Since young, they enjoyed benefits and never bothered training. The Fuxi legacy was a powerful one if used properly.
It granted one the power to use all basic elements. Each person has an element that they are proficient with. Feng Lin equipped his body with earth rushing at Mael at blinding speed.
While in the corner Feng Lan bid his time being the smarter of the two twins.
Mael watching Feng Lin run at him stood there then dodged to the right at the last second then grabbed his arm twisted it behind his back and kneed Feng Lan in the back.
The two twins were horrible combatants rarely getting into fights and using their status to bully others. Mael on the other hand even though he was technically had weaker and a lot of combat experience battling with basically everthing to survive on his own
Not waiting for him to comprehend what just happened as that is fatal in a real fight.
Landing on the floor then falling through the ground Mael realized he got tricked. Mael then focused all his power on his legs jumping out of the hole only to get slammed by a rock golem.
The golem was the size of a grown man. Trying to wrestle out of its grip he bit on its hand though it doesn't do anything.
Throwing the golem over shoulder and then rushing towards Feng Lin striking him on his jugular vein since he was focused on controlling the golem and didn't see it coming. Turning towards Feng Lan Grinning "You're next"
'Fuck, throwing that golem actually hurt my body cant even keep this fight going on, all I can do is look confident enough to scare Feng Lan, even with all that training these two bozos can beat me if they had brain cells' Mael thought
In this world, one must fight to be at the top. Even without an ability, Mael trained his body to its upper limits. With just his body alone he was a level 5. In this world, there were 100 levels per rank
Human's strongest human known to the public right now is a rank 50 mythological legacy holder.
No one knew the upper limits of the ranking nor will they ever know. Feng lin the twin he just defeated was a level 3.
It wasn't that hard of a fight compared to Feng Lan who was a level 6. Before they could continue they heard a voice.
"First Day of school and you get in a fight Feng Lin & Lan. I'm disappointed"

Puzzled I looked behind us and saw a rough-looking male with a scar on his cheek. Looking at me he says
"Fuck off useless, If I see you near the young masters Feng Lan and Lin again I'm decking your dumbass"
Sighing in disgust then walking over to Feng Lan healing him and saying
"Young master don't waste your time on the useless person your status is above theirs such you shouldn't interact with people of their caliber."
Being confused at the stranger I asked "And you are?..... Never mind I couldn't care less."
Looking at his red face and smirking I walked to the back of a long line waiting to be examined. Everyone stared at us like some sort of specimen.
After 3 hours of watching others come out crying and some cheering and going home, I got pretty bored so I went on my phone.
It was an old one but still worked. Playing Mortal Kombat 11 for a while I stopped since I was close to the beginning of the line. After waiting for a good 5 minutes it was finally my turn.
Walking Inside the big gate and into a room that was decorated with a weird collection of objects. After looking around the room I focused on the main objective. A woman eating a slice of cake.
Seeing me walk in she put the cake down and said in a fake voice. "Welcome, It's time for your test please come with me."
She then walks out of the room to a big dome I saw in the distance. Following her and staring at her backside for a good amount of time she puts a lot more strut into her walking putting a show on for me.
Most people who came to this academy had a good background so if she could rope one in and make him her Husband she was set for life
Not too long after we walked into a big dome. Inside it looked larger than the outside. It was separated into 3 sections. The first side looked like a test-taking area with glass over it, people seemed to be taking an exam in there they were focused on their papers.
Some people failed the school after they got in and had to retake the entrance exams over again which to many was a nightmare.
"This is the test-taking area but we aren't going there first. we have to see what legacy you have and your level and strength."
We then walk up to a stone on the left side of the exam-taking area. ''Sir put your hand on the stone. This stone is called a Seer. It measures the potential of your legacy." Knowing what the outcome was gonna be anyway, I placed my hand on the stone.
Seeing that nothing showed up she seemed surprised. "Sir try again maybe the stone malfunctioned from how powerful your legacy was. Yes, that must be why"
The stone would become brighter the more potential a legacy had.
A legacy's potential was measured in ranks. E - SSS. The higher the potential, the faster one can level up and once they reach the pinnacle they are more powerful than a lower Rank
If Rank E reached the pinnacle of their legacy it would be weaker than Rank A's full power. It also depended on if you had a combat-orientated legacy or not. Some people get a mowing legacy or something like that.
Though they become waaaaay better mowers and can probably beat up regular people compared to combat legacies they were nothing.
"It's fine miss I don't have a legacy so it won't light up." Instantly her face twisted into one of revulsion. In a disrespectful tone, she said "No wonder why it didn't light up. You're useless. A pig is more useful than you. To even think I let you stare at my ass. A frog lusting after a swan's meat."
'...Was that even necessary, why was she talking like that? We are in 32024 Ma'am' Mael thought with a deadpan expression
Almost throwing her book at me she said: "Anyway let's go the level checker if your level isn't good then we will kick you out and you will never have a chance to come back you disgusting pig."
Sigh, Even though I looked better than half of the population without strength looks meant nothing.
We then walked over to giant bells that had a faint golden glow. She says
"Punch the bells it should measure your strength trash" Smirking I walk over to the bell and punch the bell with all my strength. It glowed for a second then a number came on its surface
*Level 5*
She seemed startled for a second then regained her composure.
"Not bad for garbage even though you don't have a legacy you're strength isn't too bad. You have just enough to pass the quota to enter the F Classes Range from F-A. The S and up classes are almost impossible to get into. The school had 7 years to attend before being able to graduate.
I had passed. Even though I made it to F class I still passed. Walking out of the school I decided I needed to celebrate.
