Chapter 5: The First Battle in Another World

"I've been walking for a while, haven't I arrived yet?" I thought to myself as I walked along the path that the elder had told me, but all I could see was a forest.

Suddenly, I heard something faint in front of me. I ducked behind a nearby tree to see what it was.

I stretched out my head and saw a small creature with green skin, skinny and dry, holding about five wooden batons. It looked like a goblin, just as it was described in the novel.

"What are we going to do now that they're blocking our way... have to fight?" I was worried because this would be my first fight in this world.

"Well, they don't look very strong. We'll be able to deal with them. They're not very wise either, with two next to each other and four spread apart. I can slowly go around their back and attack both of them at the same time. With this sword, I should be able to cut them easily, but if not, it's bad luck because they will attack me," I thought to myself, preparing for the fight.

Without knowing what I was about to do, I slowly crawled over the trunk behind the two goblins who were talking in a language I didn't understand.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

The two goblins chatted happily, causing them to burst into laughter. But their laughter was short-lived.

With a swift motion, I sliced through both their necks with my sword, their heads rolling off their bodies in a grotesque display.Their eyes were filled with joy and happiness before the glow disappeared. The other two goblins who were standing a little further down the corridor looked shocked and confused.

While they were still shocked, I dashed forward with my sword ready. I swung it down with all my strength, slicing through the first goblin's skull and instantly killing it. Another goblin attempted to charge towards me with its club. But I easily dodged it and thrust my sword into its back.

I cast a defensive spell, the only spell I knew, which created a bubble around me and blocked their attacks, knocking them back.

"Now's my chance!" I rushed towards the two goblins who had lost their backs, thrust my sword into the first goblin's chest, and used my other hand to knock the last goblin down. Then I punched the goblin several times until it stopped moving.

The area that used to be noisy became quiet again. All that remained was the stench of blood and the remains of the goblins who had lived with their killers.

"I did it..." I thought to myself. I feel guilty about killing goblins. But I have to do it to survive. I don't have enough information to know what harm or harm I have to do to not die.

"Hurry up and get out of here," I said to myself as I continued walking towards my destination, leaving what had been done behind without looking back.
