I have a problem. I can no longer see that Gieco gecko as anything other than a rival. One I must defeat in this lifetime. His battle prowess and skill at combat have left me quaking in my boots as I exited the pod this morning.

There are the regular group of goblins there, I heard them before I saw them. I was a bit more prepared and ducked down to scoot up to my hiding bush I thought was decent yesterday.

'Oh nice, that is very helpful.' The scout has a stick for beating the bushes, and it looks like and the goblin only attacked me with his fists and claws. Still, one hit from them pretty much killed me the last few times.
They don't do much besides walk around and look for food. Don't they get bored? 30 minutes of that and it is all the did.
A group of three players ran into the area and wiped them out in about 10 seconds picked some loot and ran off, they make it look so easy, guess having an extra person helps?
Seeing as there was nothing left to study here, I decided to head back to into town.
'If it is culture what would be the first one to be created by a primitive culture? Art or music? Maybe religion or something.'
The loud noise of the center square reached my ears before I saw it. Many players were here as always, all looking to do different things. The colorful square was full of sights, so I looked at a few of the stalls again, wishing I had some coin to afford decent gear.
'Yeah, shopping is fun and all but I really should get a better sense of what I want to accomplish here, it is a new life for me after all.'

“Holy Hell!!!!” I jumped and shouted as someone poked me in the back with a finger. “Oh, its you again... Hey, thanks for the help with the tutorial stuff and interface.” As my heart rate slowly returned to normal I looked at the girl that had helped me in the revival amphitheater.
“Hi again, you're welcome!” She had a big grin on her face, must have been because she scared me successfully. “SO you should be what? Level 5 by now, at least.”
“Um, not quite”(Core)
She looked at me then above my head, “Wha, how in the hell are you still level 1?” Her face became a look of complete confusion. “Did you not get much time to play since then?”
“What time is it now?” I looked at my Interface clock. “Do people normally get to level 5 in less than 12 hours?”
“You had 12 hours and you're level one still. You have a non-classed crafting skill you leveled instead?”
“Nope.”(Core)

“Yeah, so anyways, go to see you again, good luck with level two, or whatever you are working on Core.” Then she slowly walked off like she had just seen the strangest thing ever and didn't comprehend it at all.
“VRAI, how do you see another player's name?”(Core)
“You can turn on Nameplates in the settings or you can use the Interface to highlight a target and the name will be displayed above their heads.”
“Thanks.”(Core)
'Her name is “Strumpet” is she a bard or something?'

Core was torn away from his thoughts by another matter completely. 'Maybe I could learn to make instruments.'
