As the years went by I am now 16 years old, 6 years since the data Sakura and I met Azazel, He made the temple his residence. During these 6 years, Sakura became ridiculously strong.
When Azazel started to train us he taught us many things one those was magic what I learned from it was that magic is like computer language consist of 0s and 1 because it has its own the meaning, expressions for a simple explanation: runes and arrays, every faction has its own sets of runes and arrays, it is like different language but the meaning is same but some are advanced and some are basic, some are efficient some are not so much just like a car engine, the supercar has powerful efficient and compact engine whereas every day common man's car has not much powerful engine.
In simple terms: computer language (java,C+,C++,etc,.) = runes(different factions have different sets of runes demonic runes(DEVIL), divine runes(ANGELS, FALLEN ANGELS), Asgardian runes(ASGARD))
The computer understands it in the pretext of 0s and 1= Magic understands it on the basis of mana.
Even after all that I can't tell that to anyone because in this era there is no computer nor cars. But still one time I asked this to Azazel "What is the difference between Magic and chi?"
He replied after thinking for a while" There is one difference that is magic is generated from spirit core which can be found in a person's brain while chi is generated from the body and that's why they have a different type of training methods but at the latter stage of one's mastery over said energy they can achieve the same kind of effects."
"same kind of effect...?" Sakura asked tilting her head sideways.
' so cute....(>-<)! Aha! I am getting distracted.'
"Yes! same kind of effects just like magic if you have mastery over chi you can not only increase your physical attributes but also have control over elements and spatial technique like teleportation and such"
"You are saying with chi we can do that but is it easy to do it with magic?"
"Yes you are right that's why people don't take chi training to the extreme because it can be easily achieved by magic."
"But you are saying it can be done but who did it?"
"There are many who did take chi to the extreme if I have to name one it would be The Monkey King Sūn Wùkōng also known as The Great Sage, Heaven's Equal but he is a yokai they are innately talented in arts of chi there is another but he is human Gautama Buddha: The Buddha was a philosopher, mendicant, meditator, spiritual teacher, and religious leader who lived in Ancient India. He is revered as the founder of the world religion of Buddhism and worshipped by most Buddhist schools as the Enlightened One who has transcended Karma and escaped the cycle of birth and rebirth. These two are the extreme one who had taken the art of chi to the limit but according to them chi has no limit."
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
We off track somehow, "well all this is good but I was not asking about that I was asking after all this time I came to a conclusion that magic is tangible power but chi is intangible power."
Azazel asked me looking confused "How so?"
Let see how can I explain it, "Anyone can cast magic with systematic training and by being able to process any one of the magic languages he just needs to know which language is suitable for him but for chi even if they train their body to the limit they might not be able to attain it.
It is like magic has universal law, because of this they are able to easily interfere with the natural order of the world but chi is personal laws every person has different law and whose law is more powerful they are able to interfere with the natural state of the world"
"Hmm!......Let me think about it, I will answer you later about it but it is an interesting theory because of this I love humanity this much just like my first love for whom I fell."
"Did you not fell because of lust and debauchery?" I asked while trying to raise an eyebrow and failing horribly.
"What are you trying to do?"
"Trying to give the look"
"What look?"
"The questioning with a mix of annoyed expression look."
"Ohh! Is this the look" He showed me while raising a single eyebrow with a grin on his face.
"Yeah, that look! but how did you do that"
"I researched about looks you know because looks are needed to woo the ladies and I highly doubt that you can give the look with your stiff face"
Hearing that I fall crestfallen.
"But I like your stiff face..." Sakura said with a meek voice while turning red.
"What?...." I asked trying to hear it again.
"Oho! I saw something interesting, but what do you see in his stiff face"
Sakura was now completely red due to embarrassment before she ran I latched to her waist "Sakura, Azazel is dishing me?"
Also in this six-year, I learned to smith swords from Sakura's father Benjiro-san while Sakura learned to sew from mother.
I learned them with of intention of fulfilling my chuunibyou desires, in my past life I was a fan of otaku culture, mask, suits, antique-looking cool accessories, hidden weapons, etc.,
After learning that I made a cane with a single edge blade hidden inside which I can pull out while grabbing the L shape handle which I styled in the shape of the eastern dragon I also added 2 rubies in its eye. The end result was not bad even if I say so my self, I am not bragging you know I really did create a masterpiece after my 6 years of hard work. At first, I destroyed many blades, due to putting more strength or less heat or many other reasons.
But with help of chi, I quickly got hang of it, I also created a parasol with a hidden blade inside it was pink in colour with petals of cherry blossom drawn over it, the cloth was provided by Azazel, the cloth was stab and slash-proof and is conductive to chi. Due to this feature, it has a very robust defence and top of it it is very fashionable.
Sakura was very happy with it. She even said, "I will treasure it for years to come." while blushing. Women in the world of dxd are bold and embarrassed in weird places.
