A hooligan-like figure glared at me in the eyes, his purple hair glistened in sunlight.
I really loathe these guys with their fiery temper, I wonder how could they even survive in society. Needless to say, they would thrive in the "other" society that will be formed a month later...
Mr. Hooligan took out a bat from nowhere and started threatening me, "This great me is in good mood today! Bring out a hundred dollars and this one will let you go! Quick!"
I looked at this guy funnily and replied, "What about it?"
"What about it? WHAT ABOUT IT?!" Ah, the guy snapped, then applied force onto his arm.
The bat swung diagonally towards me, fortunately, I have already prepared for this outcome. My right hand bolted into action, clamping on the bat, halting it in place. My feet did not stay still though, I charged the man and used my elbow and the momentum to knock him off his feet.
Thud!

Behind him is a conrete column, and it would probably hurt if you hit it real hard.
Bang!
The shock swept the bat off the mans hands and fell to the floor, I used my left arm to punch in in the side of his temple to not give him any time to rest and drove my right into his solar plexus.
Thwack! Thwack!
I took a step back, my face emotionless as I watched his body fall down to the floor. As someone from the future, it is not easy to resist the urge to kill this man, but the situation doesn't allow me to kill this man.
While I do not have the habit of leaving potential enemies alive, I could not kill wantonly when society is still stable, but when it shows the slightest sign of weakening... I might consider killing as one of my choices.
I ignored the groaning and moaning and walked down the hallways, and out of the apartment.
Sunlight pierced through the shroud of dark clouds in the horizon, I took a deep breath, fresh air entered my lungs- VROOOOOM! and interrupted by plumes of smoke entering my lungs- nevermind, I forgot that I was in the middle of city Z, you could never escape from pollution here.
It took a couple of coughs and a ton of curses to adapt to the smoky enviroment, but I managed it anyhow.
Z city is a booming trade hub that housed over eight hundred thousand residents, and I am just a tiny speck compared to it. I do not hope to dramatically change the future of this city, but as I am already here, I would try to leviate the situation of the city when the time comes...
