Damen Homewood woke up that morning to the usual sky blue walls of his room. As he walked out of his room, he could see downstairs that his parents were talking about something. He didn’t think about it too much and went on to going to the bathroom. He showered and brushed as he normally does. While he styled his long, brownish-red hair into a ponytail with a classic fringe, he faintly heard his Mother calling him into the dining room.
He walked out of the bathroom, down the stairs to see his parents sitting at the dining table. His Father, Willias cutting the steak that the maid, Alia made for breakfast; and Damen’s Mother, Reanna, sitting quietly at the dinner table, looking at some documents while drinking. “Good morning Mother. Good morning Father.”,Damen said with a sweet smile on his face. His Mother looked up from the papers she was reading and stared at him coldly.
“..Sit down, child.” She said while looking backing down to the papers. “I normally wouldn’t tell you this, but since this problem involves you solving it, I’ll tell you.”

“A problem..? Involving me?”, Damen thought.
She continued, “It seems as though something happened to an employee in our company. A man got into a fight with one of our associates and now they order compensation. That compensation..involves you. All you have to do is go to school and behave. Also, someone else will be picking you up so don’t be surprised if Jason isn’t there.
Daren stayed silent, since he knew arguing with his mother would always have the same outcome, and went on to school.
As Damen went on to school, he couldn’t stop thinking about what his mother said that morning. He continued to go through his day like normal, trying to forget what happened.
At the end of the day, Damen, who had completely forgotten about what his mother said that morning, stayed in his classroom waiting for his normal driver, Jason to come pick him up. As he silently waited in the classroom reading his favorite book, Forgotten Children, the door of the classroom suddenly opened. ”Damen? There’s some dude outside the school looking for you.”
Damen immediately assumed that the person outside was Jason. But little did he know, a storm was brewing outside of the school gates.
