Chapter three: The deal

Pov Vick:

Walking down the long white marble covered hallway, I was filled with dread. For the past two days I had laid unconscious, my soul had  taken a heavy toll from being in the abyss. Thus today was the day I would be getting summoned to a world as a hero once again. With my actions against him, Carmichael would surely make the one who was going to summon me an awful person.

Nothing could be as worse as my first summoning to Olivia though.

I fell in love with the girl and her with me. It was an all a lie coming back one night after clearing a dungeon, to find her sleeping with several guys. Her smiling face when she saw i was watching haunts me every time I close my eyes.

Needless to say my time in that world was short I killed myself soon after.

Having reached the tall wooden door I braced myself to see that smug bastard there no doubt probably smirking for whatever hell he was going to send me to this time.

Much to my surprise in the brightly lit room that had large white circular walls and a summoning circle on the ground.

Carmichael was not there instead it was a tall woman around 6'3 wearing a black dress that showed off her voluptuous body.

I'm glad that bastard isn't here but this is odd why is the goddess Sable here?

"Oi what the hell-- forgot it just send me to where that bastard as planned for me"

I was going to ask why she was here but it doesn't matter, I'm still probably going to the same hell hole Carmichael as planned.

*giggle*

" actually Carmichael and I made a little deal, If you complete the task on the world i choose, you will belong to me and if i lose he gets the one thing he cannot have me"

rolling my eyes i walk into a small circle within the bigger summoning circle.

"whatever i don't care just send me to the world you choose then"

 i could really care less about her deal or the task for that matter, all these gods and goddess can go to hell for all i care.

"oh i see but you should care as you are special. A god can only have one familiar and you are Carmichael's. I do not have one thus if you complete the task i can take you and grant you some of my power"

"but wh-"

Before i can finish sable is now next to me her face close to my ear

"your not the only one who wants Carmichael dead, if you become my familiar i will bestow you with some of my power,  then you will be able to kill him"

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

This seems to be good to be true but i can't deny my interest is peaked.

"you can only give a third of your power, even with yours i doubt it could be done"

(Authors note: only assumes this after Carmichael told him last chapter)

She smiled

one that sent shivers up my spine

"Trickster gave you some of her power the other day in the abyss, even in her illusions she can give power. the fool is not very smart and doesn't even realize she gave it to you"

her mouth did not move

this all seems to good to be true

"what makes you think i won't kill you?"

" Because Carmichael and I are at the same level power wise. Once you have my power along with the other two you will reach are level but that doesn't mean you can kill him alone. Only with my help will you succeed"

Thinking about her deal it makes sense. Carmichael, Trickster and Sable are the strongest of the gods with all threes power in me i could definitely be strong. That is if Tricksters power really is there and if Sable will actually bestow me power.

But one thing keeps nagging me

"What do you get out of it if we kill him?"

"obviously with me being the strongest i will rule the heavens and for your help you can have anything you desire. So is it a deal?"

Getting Carmichael out of the way is my top priority doesn't mean i wont kill this bitch later.

"fine you have a deal, First what is this task i have to do"

Moving her arm in the air, suddenly a piece of brown paper appears in her hand.

She then gives me the paper.

reading it my mouth drops

"you can't be serious!, I'm not sure but this can't be done in that amount of time!"

The hope this crazy woman has given me of killing Carmichael is all gone.

"try your best" Is all she says while winking at me

 Before white lights engulf me i yell

"Its impossible!"

Sorry just need to explain some things i didn't get a chance to put in or know how to

Obviously there is more gods/goddess

most are sided with either Carmichael or Sable

so that's the reason she hasn't tried to kill him off yet

basically power wise it goes Sable/Carmichael huge gap between their powers and third strongest Trickster
