“Yooooo, Kaito you still playing that game? I thought that the boss told you to get off your phone!”

”Tch I’m not waiting another minute for this project to start. I’ve had to stay in this lab for the past 4 months while you got to actually see out of this black prison. The only contact I have with the outside are my games. I can’t start playing fps games on a work computer.”

I then look at my coworker stupid face. This guys name is Nishiki he has blond hair with black eyes. Obviously, he dyed his hair but this guy is 24 and already has a child. Of course, he was handsome way better looking than me a 40 year old man.

“Wait you can’t?!

”I thought everybody knew this.”

”This is news to me!”

”Did you even read contract?”

”YOU ACTUALLY READ THAT LONG ASS THING?! THAT THING WAS LONGER THAN SOMEONE TRYING TO APPLY FOR THEIR DREAM COLLEGE!!!!”

”Stop screaming everyone’s going to start looking at us if you raise your dumb fucking voice. I also did indeed, read the entire contract. I wonder how you even made it into this job.”

”I mainly took this job for the money I even have enough to go into retirement. Sadly, I still have the contract to complete. Also what do you do with your money? It seems like you live in this lab, do you even have a girlfriend?”

“I’m going to beat your ass if you ask me about my love life.”

”Then did you at least have a girlfriend in middle school?”

“No, I was not sexually active when I was a teenager or in high school.”

“What a waste.”

I breathe a visible sigh at his unending questions. I take a bite of my midday snack. 

“Is that shit even tasty?”

“Of course, you would never eat this after all you always have your wife to cook for you.”

He smirks

”You jealous?”

I crease my eye brows at his question. This guy  started working a mere 1 year ago. To be honest I’m suprised that the higher ups let him work on this project.

“Fuck my body now feels so fucking tired.” 

“I feel like you deserve a raise personally. You’ve been working non stop on this project for the past 5 years.”

“Doesn’t matter I only use this money to buy whatever I want.”

”Do you not donate money to charity?”

“Why should I spend money on people who I don’t know?”

“Wow that was really just unfiltered rudeness.”

“Hmph I just see no need or reason to spend my money on something that won’t benefit me.”

”But, you can still donate money to them.”

“If every rich person actually spent money on charity then multiple problems that plague human would disappear. I am definitely not going to be a person to lead the charge of humanity’s change.”

Nishiki POV

Kaito Fujisaki my senior at work and a chill person who runs by his own beliefs. He’s someone who you would under estimate if you based first impressions on appearance. He is single and the boss is one of the best employees at our job. Despite his lack of morals and I emphasize lack of morals when you work with him he’ll do anything in his power to offload all his other co workers work onto him. I’m obviously very grateful for this since I get to off work way earlier than I’m suppose to. That also means I get to hangout with my wife and my child more and that I thank Kaito everyday. However, I know his lack of morals  however I can’t help but look at him in more of a black light. I also hate his total disregard for life I find it absolutely detestable. When I told him that to his face I thought I was going to get fired. However, he just said to me “good for you however you can’t teach a old dog new tricks.” He also eat those nutrients bar that taste like a wall combined with the hardness of a rock. He somehow eats those things which I admire him for since none of the other workers eat it. He was also scouted for this instead of applying now seeing his work now I see why they decided to do it. When I talked to other employees about him they said that he was longer here than anyone and is quite talented. He also appears to be single I do find a waste that his talents would never be passed on to a child. But when I confronted him on it he just plainly said “No girl would ever want to take me as a husband unless they’re one of two things or both, batshit insane or lost their fucking sanity. If I did find someone like that then I would reject them for their own good.” My final thoughts on Kaito are he understands humans but can’t understand they’re feelings.

Kaito POV

I have absolutely no reason why I should care for other people feelings. No, it’s more accurate to say that I have absolutely no interest in what they’re feeling. 

I look down at my screen while stretching it was about to reach 95%. This project has been working on for the past 5 years and has always been quite an headache for me. The boss had assigned only to me at the time but later assigned other people to it after I requested it.

I sigh

I don’t understand why this boss is always demanding so much from me. Despite him only working as boss for 6 years he regards us as trash furthering his plans. I only know this is because the previous boss loved his son to bits. I only obey his orders because he’s my superior. If I was in his position then I would also use it however I want.

I sit down on my chair and peek at my computer screen.

The tension in the room was increasing as it was about to hit 100%. Of course I was also excited after all this was a major thing that I was working for the past 5 of course I would also look forward to the results.
