a long time ago in a different world existed dragons so old they were named elder dragons, theses were the first ever dragons created by the gods of that world. one god named Draco gifted the elder dragons ability to create magic, and the ability to make other races so they can serve them. Me-do an earth dragon created race of lizards to serve her. Woe-to one of the most powerful dragons in magic found ways to create portals to other worlds, by her deeds the first elves were brought to their world. all was fine until Fu-todo one of the elder dragons got jealous of the other dragons' creations and deads, so he created a race known as the Creve with their ability they were able to steal other beings' joy. the other elder dragons teamed up to defeat Fu-todo and his minions managing to seal them, but the damage was done some races faded out of existence because they lost their joy and with it, the will to live. the event was known as the black scar, for it caused other dragons and races to turn on the elder dragons for they held onto too much power.
all but a handful of elder dragons survived the black scar many fled to new worlds with the assistance of Woe-to. while some stayed to watch the seals many years passed by and everything was fine until the god of darkness and trickery broke Fu-todo out and unleashed chaos on the world again. Woe-to and the others managed to kill Fu-todo but it had a cost all elder dragons died except woe-to who was weekend to the point of being unable to seal the Creve back up. the remaining gods of the world teamed up to defeat the trickster god, with their power they cast a curse on the Creve so that if sunlight ever touches them they will burn.

many years go by as Woe-to saves her energy to hatch up a plan to fully stop the Creve. after a thousand years, she puts her plan into action this is where the story begins.
the current year on earth is 2021 and a young man is sitting recording himself playing a third-person platformer, "come on die already I got to finish this speed run! so I can get more views on Streetview" patch says, as he quickly types and movies his mouse quickly, "man I remember when getting views and subscribers was easier in the past when this site first started years ago!" on the screen is a dwarf desperately trying to doge fireballs being thrown at him.
this young man's name is patch age 25, his career: a streamer, and his hobbies: are music and video games. the dwarf in the game suddenly dies. "UGGGGGGGG WHY!!!!!!" *Patch slams his key bord down in anger knocking a cup over and spilling liquid on the floor* "I was 15 minutes away from beating the record!" *he stands up then slips on the water that is on the floor and falls face-first into his webcam*
