Before I tell you my epic, the epic tale of Lea, let me briefly tell you what it's like to have two retire hero divorced parents. I need to tell you a bit of how things tend to work in my world so you're all caught up.
Seven years ago, while my parents where still together, they where at the top of their Superhero game. Mum and Dad where the two most popular heroes and whenever there was a disaster they where both there to save the day.
However, that all changed when the former hero who was number three of the charts, Wizard, turned to dark side. He took down the hero HQ and with it killed almost every hero in the building and unfortunately a lot of civilians bystanders. My parents, for reasons they still haven't told me, they weren't there to stop him. They where elsewhere pinned down unable to help.
The government blamed them and every other hero for that horrific incident despite the fact that the army never even tried to intervene and help. Instead the blame fell on the two people who could have easily saved the day. The ever flashy, Divine, who is my Dad Liam and my Mum Riley who was Spirit.

When the dust finally settled, they decided that all hero work would be banned and heroes would return to a simple five day, 9 - 5 job. However, many people and heroes found a loop hole in the bill they all anonymously signed and many companies started to hire retired heroes and would sign them with their companies clamming that as long as they where working the hours the government had stated they could write of their hero work as "Publicity stunts". It's disgusting that it actually worked.
During that time, while our lives where already hectic Mum and Dad split and I went with my Mum. On the other hand, Dad immediately signed with a company because he couldn't give up being a hero. What he didn't know was that he signed with a government company that had a very deep vendetta against heroes and they sent him after my Mum.
So, as you can see, my life is definitely eventful. When we aren't having an awesome family dinner on the weekends, my Dad is trying to kill my Mum. When we aren't spending Christmas together opening gifts, on the 28th he is hunting her down in the middle of a grocery store.
But, no matter my parent’s odd relationship, I love them and wouldn't change them for the world.
