So, now I am not exactly sure of where I am or to be more exact what I am. I have a conscience but I don’t feel a body. And I am not even entirely sure for how long I have been floating in this darkness for. Is this the afterlife? An eternal darkness encompassing my being? If this is it then it’s going to be quite lonely. But at least I am not really able to feel any emotions either. Is it because I am not human anymore, it is quite peaceful. No fear, no regret, no needs nor wants. Its as if I am complete. I continued floating for who knows how long, thinking about my past and all the possible futures without me, who would miss me, who would not and stuff like that. Not necessarily that I cared though, I didn't care about anything, but strangely I wasn't going mad. I was in a state that couldn't advance nor regress. After waiting again whoever knows how long, I was going to give up on hoping for anything to happen and was almost resigned to this passive existence as a harsh bright light shone from above. I mean not that I had any sense of direction either. From this pure white light I felt a strong pull and my being was slowly getting sucked towards it, after completely getting engulfed by the white I hear: “ WELCOME NEW WANDERING SOUL”. as I scan the place for any sign of life an enormous leg almost squashed me like a fly, missing me only by a few inches. to which apologetically the voice resounds: “OH I AM SORRY LITTLE ONE, I ALMOST COULDN'T SEE YOU THERE, HERE TAKE THIS SHAPE”.
