Walking through the streets of Japan was a young 14-year-old Miyuki ren. Stopping in front of the red light, he looks to the side and see's a baby crying in a stroller. She was pointing at her pacifier that was on the floor. Seeing her mom on the phone waiting for the light to change, he walks over to her. Picking it up and handing it to her. The baby smiles at him. Seeing a flash of green, he waves goodbye to the baby, not realizing the light is still red.

Not hearing the shouts to the side, when he, looking to the right, he’s greeted with a 10,000-pound semi-truck heading straight towards him. In panic and fear, he closes his eyes preparing for impact as the truck swerves to the right hitting him in the process. The last thing he saw before passing out was an old man looking straight into his eyes.

Waking up in the hospital was one thing he didn’t like. Seeing the plain white ceiling, he pushes his head up before going back down due to the sudden pain he got n his chest. Looking around, he sees wires connected to his body with a beep right next to him every now and then.

The next moment the doors open at the other side of the room. His eyes are greeted with the sight of a middle-aged man with a nurse that looks in her thirties right next to him.

“ Hello young man, it was quite the accident you got yourself into walking straight into a red light as witnesses say.” He sits down in the chair that was next to his bed.” Miyuki ren 14 years old currently living by himself and currently has no next to kin.” The doctor tells ren’s personal information.

As the day went on its currently night time. With his eyes closed ren didn’t notice the door opening. He was alerted when he heard light footsteps. Looking at the corner of his eye’s he sees a familiar face.

“ You were from the accident what are you doing here,” ren asked the unknown man as he walks closer muttering something. : huh what did you say?”

“ You have been chosen.” The man tells ren who is getting awfully close to him.

“ What? W-wait what are you doing.” He asked n panic as the man disconnects the plug causing the heart monitor and everything on him to stop working. He starts feeling pain as that were happening.

“ H-help.” He weakly mutters, looking at the corner of his eyes before blacking out, not before hearing the last words of the man who killed him.” Good luck child of d-” Was the last thing he heard.

And with that, he closes his eyes as death takes over.
