The sun is quite hot, Luna wore a uniform that exactly fits her, Her chestnut brown hair glinted when it met the sun, as she walked the cool breeze from the garden rippled through her hair, most of the boys that walked past her turned their heads when they saw her, Luna might not know, but even if she doesn't have any fashion sense, she doesn't wear any make-ups, there are probably many boys turning their heads into her because of her attractive simple beauty. the only thing is that she never cares about how messed up she looks, she only likes to study and promised to never be serious about love. But when she walks, she shines brightly than the others. She's not the sun, but she's the moon that gives light when it's dark and night.
And in the sturdy gleaming of a new day kisses the thousand green hues dancing along with the fairly cold wind and outside the entrance hall of the school were flowerbeds that unveil the beauty of nature.
Her school is near the seaside, that's why in their canteen, Luna would always eat all alone near the window where she stared at the view outside. There were sailboats parked in the marina, dozens of seagulls perching on the yachts, and the others were flying here and there squabbling over food scraps or dead fishes they could find near the coast. The clouds are large and puffy and almost look like balls of cotton wool. And the cold, bright blue sky stretched to the horizon.
From the view outside, Luna shifted her gaze to the person who sat in front of her holding a tray with a sandwich and juice, she realized she's from her class, too. The girl smiled at her and shifted her gaze to the view outside,
"You like this place, too?" she calmly said, still looking outside,
Luna looked at her sandwich, thinking. They didn't have a conversation but still, they weren't uncomfortable with each other either. Luna didn't have to ask her name, she automatically told Luna what her name is, Faith. Now she is the first friend that Luna ever had in her first year of high school. Both of them would always relate to each other's stories, but neither one of them ever opened up about their problems. She was happy about having a friend, she thought at first, that her high school life would be so boring, but then Faith came. They would go out on weekends and sometimes sleeps overnight at each other's houses. The most similar thing that they both have, is that they don't have interests in things like "love". They both think that there are so many corny things that you could do whenever you're in love with someone. That's why they've never experienced the feeling of being in love.

It's been about four weeks since they knew each other, but they seem more like, best friends.
" Wear some make-up on Acquaintance Party," Faith said, trying to force Luna to answer "okay"
Luna looked at her, unconvinced. " You're not convincing anyone"
The Acquaintance Party is next week, Luna would probably come but without makeup, and Faith just can't imagine how plain she would look at the party. Luna doesn't really care about outward appearances because she likes to look more at the "inner beauty" which every person has from within. There's going to be only the two of them going to the party without a group of friends, they both feel left out but somehow they're fine with it since they can't stand being with people who fake their personality and stab you back later.
At the cafeteria, Faith, and Luna were still talking about what are they going to wear for the party,
"I can't tell you that," Luna said,
"what?! why not?"
Luna told her it was a surprise, and she didn't want to spill the beans about the dress she's going to wear for the party.
"Okay, what about a date?" Faith suggested,
Luna's eyes widened, "Are you asking me?" she asked,
Faith suddenly burst out, she crossed her arms over her stomach and looked like she could die from laughing, she was trying to catch her breath and trying to calm herself down.
"o-okay, wait... just--" she started cracking up again,
I rolled my eyes when she started talking again
"Okay, it's not what you think, why would I ask you out?"
"And when did I say you were asking me out?" Luna raised an eyebrow then continued "Are you asking me if I would want to go out with someone?"
"No," Faith sighed, "I'm asking you if are you okay to have a partner at the party, there weren't just a group of friends attending there, almost all of them have their own partners for the dance,"
Dance? Luna thought.
She doesn't want to dance, of course. But the Party next week is just an Acquaintance Party, not JS Prom or something, she thought. But it does sound like a prom because of the "Masquerade" theme,
"Are you sure it's just an Acquaintance party? It sounds like going to a prom night."
"They're probably making us experience what it feels like to be on a prom night," Faith explained,
Faith reminded her about finding someone to dance with at the party, Luna sighed out of disbelief,
"Seriously, is the girls responsible for asking the boys 'may I have this dance?' "
She walked her way home and suddenly felt something unimaginable by seeing the sun as it sets, she breathe in the strong breeze of the wind coming from the sea. She felt something vibrating in her pocket, she quickly reached for her phone to see who was calling. she read ' Mom' on the phone, the phone was ringing about six times already but still... she didn't answer the phone and just ignored it. Sometimes she felt like she's about to go crazy because of the missed calls from her mom which she didn't really pick up on purpose. Sometimes she just wants to cry out loud but she can't because she didn't want her Aunt Mary to worry about her.
