The people in the City of Gerona turn off their oil lamps and head to rest after a hard day. Parents telling stories and giving their kids a goodnight kiss. Silence envelopes the city.

City guards patrol the streets and guards at the walls look out in the darkness .

At the east of Gerona lies the Trilwood forest. Something's lurking in the forest of Trilwood. An enemy camp hiding in the darkness. Two riders galloping towards the camp. Once the riders enter the camp they disembark from their raptors and immediately question the handlers

“Where's the commander?”

“He's at his tent.”

“It's time.”

The lieutenant and his partner ran towards the commander's tent.

“Sire! Sire!” The lieutenant entered the commander's tent. Lieutenant was greeted by two naked Women on him.

“You could at least say something before you enter my tent lieutenant.”

“Sorry for Intruding, Sire. But it's time to take Gerona.”

“Okay wake up and prepare the troops for battle. Sorry Ladies for my Lieutenant destroying our time but duty calls.”

The two women kissed the commander and left the commander grabbing their clothes.

“Why are you still standing there Lieutenant, Go and Prepare the troops.”

“Sire, what about the Scouts for the incoming from Altagia.”

“Don't worry about that lieutenant. Once we take Gerona, we have orders to burn the city to the ground and enslave the women and children. Before Altagians forces arrived, so stop standing there and rally the troops.”

“Yes, Commander Helios.” The lieutenant leaves the tent.

The commander menacingly smiles as he gets dressed and prepares his armor. Meanwhile the Lieutenant is rallying the troops to the Camp Grounds.

The soldiers line up and talk to waste their time as they wait for the commander. The lieutenant goes back to the commander's camp and hears a strange voice, as he peeps through the tent entrance and sees a cloaked person was talking to the commander. He silently walked around to the other side of the tent. But there's no more voice.

“What are you doing here?” The lieutenant was surprised that the cloaked person was behind him.

“I was trying to piss while waiting for the commander.”

The cloaked person stared at the lieutenant's eyes, staring into his soul.

“Alright, Move now. You’ve got a city to burn.”

“Yes!” The lieutenant stands while the cloaked person leaves him.

“Lieutenant, what are you doing there?”

“Sorry sire, I was taking a piss. Before the battle.”

“Once you're done, come to the camp grounds.”

“Yes Sire!”

The commander left the lieutenant behind. While he contemplates what the commander and cloaked person was talking about.

The lieutenant comes to the camp grounds, Helios starts to get the troops morale up for the attack.

“Today we are ordered by the King to take Gerona for dealing with Altagians while getting its protection from us.” The troops get angered upon hearing Gerona's traitorous act.

“We will kill every man in that city and get the head of the Traitorous Baron! The King also ordered us to take everything from the food, riches and their women for ourselves!” the troops cheers upon hearing this from the commander.

The commander rides his horse and draws his sword out.

“FOR VERONIA!”

The army marches.

“Oi!, Stop sleeping, be on your guard.”

The sleeping guard wakes up in pain. The captain leaves him and wakes another sleeping guard.

“That guy needs to calm down.” the guard stands up as he stares into the darkness.

“There's nothing here but darkness”

As a small light in the distance pops up. The Guard squinted his eyes and the light vanished.

“I think that just some traveler lost in the forest again.” A vast amount of light appeared out of the forest. He looks at the guards on his right. They are both seeing the lights.

The guard shouts.

“INCOMING EAST. SOUND THE ALARM” He yells at the guards at the gates. They rushed and rang the bell.

The whole city is alerted. Archers assemble at the east wall. While the footmen build barricades near the entrance of the east gate. Civilian Men take up arms with swords, pikes, pitchforks and axes.

“How many are there?” The captain asked the guards.

“One thousand to Ten thousand troops, Captain.”

“Dear God, What kingdom are there flags?”

“Nothing, Captain. They don't have one.”

“What is the situation of the Garrison?”

“Yes, most of our archers are at the eastern walls. The footmen and some of the Civilians are fortifying all the gates and making more of them at the eastern gate.”

“Good, Tell the Civilians to lock their doors. We are going for a long night.”

“Yes, Captain.” The guard leaves the captain.

At the Veronian troops.

“Sire, Looks like they are awake and prepared.”

“Lieutenant, tell the mage to prepare Siege cannons.”

“Yes Sire.” Lieutenant goes back to the back lines.

“Mages get the Cannon at the front!”

The Mages bring out the cannons from its box and prepare the red powder.

Inside Gerona walls the barricades are half finished. Archer Captain Shouts.

“Cannons!”

“Prepare the Balistas and take aim at those cannons.”

The defenders hurried as they brought up the bolts, to prepare a volley.

“Sire, the cannons are ready.”

“Take aim at the Eastern Gates. Fire when ready!”

The Mages loaded the cannons with Red Powder and then loaded a Pyro Orb inside the cannon.

“All set Lieutenant.”

The lieutenant nods at the commander.

“Fire!”

The 4 cannons fire almost simultaneously. The orbs flew towards Gerona. Two orbs hitting the walls, one fly over the wall into the city, only one successful hit. The Gate doors exploded, disorienting the defenders.

“Forward!”

Veronian troops marche at the entrance

“You guys alright.”

“Yes Captain.”

The captain stood up and saw the enemies charging towards them.

“Archers Fire.”

Archers pick themselves back up. They shoot a volley of arrows towards the enemies. The arrows hit them but the enemies are not slowing down. Still disoriented by the explosion the archers are slow on firing arrows.

The enemies use their shield to block the incoming projectiles and Marches on.

“Footmen prepare for battle.”

As the enemy is closing in. The Geronians Garrisons all can do is wait for a miracle. This miracle is not going to happen. 

“Charge!” Helios shouted at his troops.

As the Geronians hear the Battle Cry of enemies. The Garrison became scared.

The enemies brought out ladders, some of them climbed and some of them went to the entrance.

“Kill them all!” The Geronian Captain shouted and fell down. He got shot by an enemy archer. Gerona loses their leader first as their morale is lowered and they don't know what to do. A Courageous Volunteer charges at the enemy but then shoves to the ground by the enemies shield and stab.

Commander Helios just arrived at the front.

“Kill them all.” Helios commanded his army, as his troops charged at the Geronian Garrisons and Volunteers. The city has been breached.

Veronian troops killing the defenders, they move into the inner city and set buildings on fire. The remaining Garrisons start to desperately defend their burning city; they are killed by the more skilled Veronian Soldier. Volunteers taking up arms, some fight and flee all in the end they are killed.

Veronian soldiers start tearing down the house doors, killing their husbands, taking their children and Assaulting their women. The city is now ablaze. Every corner Geronian man desperately fights and protects.

“Lieutenant, make sure to take the loot, women and children to the Wagons. I will leave now.”

“Yes Sire!” Helios leaves.

The onslaught continues. Veronian troops are now in the Inner City. A Young Woman with her sister are trying to escape the city at the western gates. But the Geronian Garrisons didn't open the gates. The enemies are waiting for them. Realizing the whole city is now encircled by the enemy.

“Anna, what are we going to do now?”

Her Older sister thinks.

“Let's go to the Northern Gate, Uncle Graves must be there.” The sisters went to the Northern Gate.

At the Northern Gate. The enemies have blocked the gate.

“What do we do? The enemies have breached the East and now they are in the inner city. In a couple of moments they will come here and kill all of us.”

“I don't know?”

The Northern Guards, demoralized, don't know what to do in this situation all they can do is pray for hope.

A cloaked man from a window of a 3 story building suspiciously observing the northern gates. He sees the two sisters run by.

“There’s Uncle Graves House.”

Both girls run towards the house. They knock on the door a couple of times.

 “Uncle Graves! Uncle Graves! It's us Anna and Rosalina! Are you here please open the door!” No response from the house.

“Uncle Graves!” The door opened and a person pulled both girls into the house.

“Thank the Goddess, I’m glad you're both safe. Did you get hurt or anything?”

“No, Uncle, we have to get out of here. The Invaders are in the inner city. Eastern and Southern have been blocked; the Northern Gate is the only way out.”

“Shhhh. There's chaos outside.”

A knock on the door.

“This is the Gerona Garrison. We are evacuating civilians out of the northern Gate to Altagia. Is anybody home?”

“Anna, look through the window.”

Anna goes to the window and sees Gerona Garrison evacuating civilians out of the northern gates.

“Come Uncle, that's the Gerona Garrison. We have to evacuate quickly.”

“Grab all the money inside that chest, While I get my sword to protect us.”

The sisters hurry transferring money into a pouch. Uncle grabs the sword and meets her two nieces outside his house. As he sees Gerona Citizens getting evacuated.

“Come Uncle, We have to hurry before the invaders catch up.”

The uncle and the two nieces walk towards the Northern Gate. Once they reached the gate it was open. 

“Come on Guys the Gate is still open.”

The uncle and her sister catch up to her. Then they start closing. Anna runs towards the gate leaving her uncle and sister behind.

“No! No! No! They're still people here! Open the Gate!” 

“ They're here!” A guard shouted to the civilian.

“Rosalina?!?” She remembers her sister and she saw her behind his uncle get stabbed by the invaders.

“Uncle Graves. No.”

“Rosalina! Rosalina!” As she tries to run back towards her but the mob keeps pushing her to the gate. She sees Rosalina getting picked up by the invaders.

“Anna!”

“Rosalina!” Anna tries to get through the mob but she's still getting pushed back.

She stops and kneels down. She lost everything, her uncle and sister. She gets trampled by the mob of panicking citizens of Gerona. Her vision black out.

“Anna. Wake up”

“What is it, Rosie”

“I want breakfast.”

“What do you want to eat?”

“Pastries from the new shop.”

Anna went back to sleep.

“Anna! Anna! Hmmmph!”

“Okay, okay I’m going to buy you those pastries after you eat it. Don't bother me again. Rosie?”

No response from Rosalina.

“Rosalina!? Where's that girl? I’ve been searching for half a day now.”

“Rosalina!” Anna called her sister. Anna turns around and she sees her sister standing. Anna walks towards her.

“Rosie, You made me worry half a day now.” Anna grabs her sister's shoulders and turns her around. She has been hit by arrows, blood gushing out of her mouth.

“Rosie?” Anna is confused by the state of her sister. Rosalina limps towards Anna.

“Why did you abandon me Anna. Why?”

Anna walks back.

“No. That's not true. I did not abandon you.” Anna stumbles and falls down. Rosalina is gaining speed.

“Why did you abandon me Anna. WHY!”

Anna crawls back until she is stopped by a thing behind her. She turns her head and sees her uncle with a sword on his back.

“Uncle Graves, Not you as well!” As Anna faces Rosalina. She's gone. A hand suddenly grabbing her face.

“YOU ABANDON ME!”

Anna wakes up from piles of bodies. She moves and gets up. A person saw her getting up.

“We've got a survivor! We've got a survivor!”

People in White races towards Anna.

“You, what's your name?”

“Anna.”

“Alright Anna, we're going to take you to Altagia. Somebody BRING A STRETCHER.”

“Rosalina.” She said her name and she passed out again.

“Check her Pulse!”

“She's still alive! She's the only lucky person to be alive in this Massacre.” Two Men carrying a stretcher. They carry Anna to the truck and depart for Altagia.

“ROSALINA!” Anna wakes up and immediately gets up.

“Where am I? These are not my clothes. Rosie. I must find her!” Anna limps and exits her room.

“The buildings are weird, they're not the same in Gerona.” Anna thinks for herself as she limps along a hallway.

She passed by a person in White clothes and another. One more pass with white clothes.

“What are they wearing? All white clothes have the same kind of outfit.” Anna thinks for herself until she reaches a door she opens it and she sees people in different and weird clothing.

 “What is this place?” As Anna looks around being fascinated by the Building and People looks. A Dwarf passed by.

“A Dwarf. I thought they lived in the hills.”

“Excuse me miss. You can't be out yet.”

“Who are you?” 

“My name's Alexandria, you can call me Alex.” 

“So what is this place Alex?”

“ You don't know? This is a Hospital.”

“Hose-Pit-Tal.”

“Oh Miss Anna you're awake now I see. Alex, why don't you give Miss Anna a stroll at the park. She's new to Altagia.”

“Oh, that's why she doesn't know what an Hospital is. Ok Sir!”

“Excuse me Sire. You said Altagia. Is this Altagia?”

“Hahaha, Yes it's Altagia, the one and only kingdom.”

“Sire, I need to get going, I need to find my sister in Gerona.”

“Gerona… Alex, why don't we take Miss Anna to the Park.”

“Sire, I need to get back to Gerona and find my sister and uncle.”

“I’

m really sorry. Miss Anna, Gerona has been decimated by an unknown army. You are the only survivor left in Gerona.”

“NO!” Anna stumbles and walks back as she hears this awful news.

“No! That can't be, Uncle Graves, Rosie Gone. My family is gone, Everything IS GONE.” Anna was disheartened by the news.

“ROSIE! ROSIE!” Anna cries.
