I awoke on a white hospital floor, my mother hovering over me with a worried look in eyes, but the doctor seemed to be completely apathetic to my apparent plight, he had a feeling of boredom written all over his face, furthermore deeper in his expression, a single glint of sadism could be seen.

And then the feeling of total clearness in my mind drifted away, and my consciousness drifted with it.
"Izuku! Are you alright?"
"Yeah mom, it's just that my head hurts a little bit,"
"Make sure you get plenty of rest, alright," After saying that my mother left the room.

My head was throbbing in a dull but intense way, while the pain seemed to subside as time passed, I couldn't shake it off no matter what I did. It stemmed from my eyes, but it branched out throughout the entirety of my skull. Tears began to well up in my eyes, I tried to wipe them away, but they were everywhere, there was a seemingly infinite amount of tears.

You have awakened the quirk Eyes of Potential

The pain was gone but the tears were impossible to get rid of and I was slowly drowning in them, I tried to swim out of them but I only ended up exhausted. The tears burst through the door and I blacked out.
I woke up drenched in sweat, picking myself up off of my bed I noticed something wrong, my body felt far smaller than normal, not only that there was a blue screen hovering in front of me. It had my name on it and showed a list of stats and abilities.

Age 16, that explained my current predicament, so first things first find out if there have been any other changes, secondly get stronger and finally don't fuck anything up. Yeah, that sounded like a good plan, nice and simple, can't go wrong with simple.
Looking around my room It was exactly the same as when I was 16, jam packed with All Might merchandise, I quickly put on my clothes and headed into the kitchen.
"Izuku, are you going to see your friends?"
"Yeah!"
She smiled "Make sure you eat breakfast, okay,"
I ate at record speed, shovelling the food into my mouth, anime protagonist style, upon finishing my meal I chugged the glass of milk in one gulp. No skill huh, well I was hungry anyway so it's not a big deal.
"Bye mum!"
"Make sure you're home by noon!" She shouted
"I will!" I shouted back

So we've gathered two pieces of information: one, I can increase my skill levels by using the skills; two the changes aren't strictly limited to myself, though the only change I've seen so far is my mother's hair colour being blue (mine is still green).
"Izuku, can you help me with these groceries?"
Almost the moment I walked out of the door my thought process was interrupted by the dual pronged attack of a blue window popping up in my vision and a familiar voice calling out to me. Pressing yes on the window I answered my childhood friend's mother.

"Sure Auntie!"
I picked up two bags without much difficulty, and started to walk alongside her and towards the house. Once I entered I heard footsteps coming closer, looking upwards I saw Masaru making his way towards us.
"Hey, Izuku do you want to hold her?"
"Yeah, sure," My face broke into a smile, she looked and gave me a happy gurgle "She's so cute!"
"Isn't she!" Wailed Mitsuki
I smiled "Do you know where Kacchan is?" I said while putting the groceries away, rocking my left arm back and forth, the baby on it gurgling throughout.
"Katsuki should be at the Arcade,"
I handed Masaru the baby "Sorry, but I've got to go now," I said while flashing an apologetic expression.
Walking outside I faintly heard 'he's such a polite boy'

Hmph, of course I'm polite, who do they think I am some sort of delinquent, some ruffian that's descended on their neighbourhood, a gangster here to collect his protection fees, alright I'll stop now.
Walking through memory road I saw some interesting things: there were far more people with coloured hair, there was about twice as many people in the area, and lastly, all of the shops and the landmarks were in exactly, and I mean exactly to the centimetres, the same place.
Turning on my foot I found myself directly in front of the arcade, scanning the area I spotted Kacchan on the right, playing on one of the machines, surrounded by people. Walking towards him invoked far more powerful memories than going through familiar streets ever could, his death made me mature the most after all.
While I was reminiscing Bakugo turned around and looked me straight in the eyes, there was a shallow anger resting there, the same sort you may see when someone loses their keys.
"What are you doing here?" he asked
"I just wanted to know something,"
"What is it?"
"You want to enter UA right?"
"Of course I do!" He shouted becoming truly angry for a second "But how could I..." he said, biting his lip.
"Don't you want to be like the number one hero?"
"Why would I want to be like that bastard Endeavor?"
"Let me rephrase my question then, don't you want to be the number one hero?"
"Who doesn't! But we all have to throw away our childish ambitions someday, right," he answered sorrow in his eyes.
"It wouldn't hurt to try though, would it?"
"What's the point... I'd fail anyway,"
"Would you? I don't think you would, for all it counts,"
He looked up at me "Deku, you've really changed, you used to be so timid, and look at you now,"
"I grew up, like we all will," I said, a confident smile on my face. I extended my hand, a rainbow light swirling within it. "Let's go apply together,"
"Sure, Deku," he said, hope lighting up his expression.
