Noticing the warm sun shine on my sleeping face, I open my eyes and see a chestnut coloured wooden ceiling. As I feel the cold presence coming from my left side, I shudder for a moment and turn my head towards it. Beside me I find an extremely cold but beautiful young woman, she is cold literally, just touching her skin feels like the cold but new fallen snow, that you can probably find outside right now. With her chiseled white face in profile I study the specimen, with a smile. Her long snow coloured hair that looks like if she stood up it would reach her waist, her long eyelashes is really noticeably in this angle. When I draw my eyes downwards, I see her high cheekbone, the nose as it points towards the ceiling and her slightly light pink mouth beneath it. Continuing to follow her frame downwards I notice two hills under the blanket, maybe noticing the stares, the cool beauty open her eyes. Turning her head she notice me, in those very light blue eyes with specks of white, you could almost see yourself in a blizzard when captivated by them. Just for a moment there, I forgot about myself. “God morning, my snow princess.”
“Mmh”
With a short reply and no change in her expression, she starts to climb out of the bed. With her silk white nightgown clinging on top of her bust, she walks towards the dressing screen. Man, even when there are not any changes in her face, I know she still blushes on the inside, I almost could not keep my hands from embracing her. Even in this form I just want to hug her all day long, especially now when it seems her skin is so cold that it looked like it would freeze but the sad truth is in this form she will never feel cold, maybe to warmth. “Aine, do feel when it gets warmer in that form?”
With a short moment of silence before she answers back. “Beside big warm changes, one would be your embrace.”
Wow, now she made me flabbergasted and I probably am blushing too. Damn girl, you should not make a boy come and assault you right now, with that cue I started to put clothes on me. Noticing again the shining sun through the windows, I see the snow covered village. As a fair amount of people traversing through the snow trying to get to work and the small children that play in it, it is a usual morning vision in small villages like this. Hearing a small sound in the room, I turn around and see a sight for sore eyes. Standing there in light brown leather shoulder pads that covers from her wrists up to her shoulder and then goes down again to meet on her back and strapped together below her bust, with a thick white cloth dress beneath it and some leather pants on her long legs. Getting closer to the chiseled white face of this girl, by stretching on my toes a little, my lips connect to her light pink cold lips. Feeling like my lips had frozen on hers, like when you lick on a cold metal when you are young, I managed to separate from hers.
Been together a little more than a year and I see now why I had such problems when I confessed to her. She had back then just changed her form to this when I had gather my courage to ask, well with a determined mind and stubbornness, I managed to gain her affection even in this icy form, even though it took about a month... How did I know it was her when she had changed form? I will tell you that at a later time.

This girl here is an Elemental shifter, a sentient being that controls the elements with their body and mind. They are one of the best beings that can control elements, the only disadvantage they have is; they can only control one element at a time. To compensate it they go through all of their forms at least once in the time they call a year, in other words when they have gone through all of their forms, they count that the same way we humans count our age. I have under the year gather information regarding on her changes/forms and this is what I have collected so far. Alkuaine follows something I call a season cycle where you can know which of her forms she will have, often by noticing what time of the year it is, there is also some elemental forms that is excluded from the cycle. For example right now it is in the middle of the winter and she has her snow white cold form of the ice element as her present appearance and soon when the snow starts melting, she will transform herself into her form of the earth element. Her appearance and behavior change depending which form she has. Right now she is about a half head taller than me and almost literally an ice cold warrior princess, with firm muscles and a slim body that moves gracefully and controlled, and her earth form is like a steadfast exotic warrior from the south, well I think she is exotic maybe because I am from Riki, and if you touched her skin in either of both forms it would feel pretty hard but firm. Her earth form has a more robust build, and she is just below my height. Like the humans from the United Tribes of Eyvinmoerkin on the southern edge of the human realm whose features are dark brown, no matter where you look on their body, some even are so dark you could call them black. She has the same feature but with a cuter and smaller frame, no matter how you mention it, except for one area. Of course do not mention that I said that to her, her inferiority complex would kick in when mentioning of her smaller forms.
Probably because I went silent and absent-mindly, which I find especially often in her presence, my girlfriend started to drag me by the collar downstairs to meet up with our comrades in the same adventure group.
Author Input: When I find myself wondering how I will transcend to describing her earth form, I was pretty much at the end of my wits trying to figure it out. Well the result is what you just read, I also get concerned if the description of her is enough or lacking almost all the time when I write about her, because the story is like literally about her (all the time). As you should have noted in this chapter we have moved back in time, about a year. Hopefully I managed to present how different her behavior is between her forms. That’s right if you had all of her forms on a line they would more or less look like sisters, with the exception how different their colours are and body sizes. Help?: Also I have problem picturing her eyes in her wood form, because either they should represent fruits or be brown like wood is, I have no clues guys, please if you want to help my mind to decide, I would be really happy to finally let this problem get out of my head.
