The dreaded hiatus notice. It sucks, I know. Some of you may have seen it coming, as the patreon was paused nearly a month back, but here it is. Death Knight is fully caught up to the patreon.
I'm in this position in life where I just need a while to get my bearings again, so I don't have the mental space to worry about writing at the moment. This, combined with a general feeling of being stuck in a rut when it comes to Death Knight specifically, led to the decision to go on hiatus.
I'm not going to make any promises as to when the story will be back, when I'll be back to writing. Shouldn't be longer than a few months, but you can't plan these things. Either way, I want to thank all of you for reading this story. I always gawked at other authors and their ability to share their creativity with the world but never dared to hope that I could do the same. Sorry for getting sappy.
Support the creativity of authors by visiting Royal Road for this novel and more.
I'm hoping to occasionally upload some chapters on patreon from a new story I've been working on bit by bit, but I'm having trouble finding the time, so I can't promise a schedule just yet.
Working Synopsis:
Within the tribe of serpents, all tribal folk receive a sigil on their twentieth birthday, depicting a snake of some kind. When Barragan, the grandson of the chieftain, receives a never-before-seen sigil, all trust in him is lost and he is regarded as a failure, even by himself. Now Barragan must learn to walk his own path and make his own choices. Unfortunately, the silent nine-headed creature writhing on his body isn’t much help.
What will he do when he learns that the other tribes, too, have received mythical sigils?
If you are interested in reading my next story, I'll be announcing it here when it launches. Anyway, thank you again, and I hope you enjoyed what I had to share so far.
