So I came back home and went to my room and after finishing my homework, I started my daily ritual of reading some heart warming novels.
This is what should have happened!, why is that guy from earlier inside my house and most of all why is my family so familiar with his family.
My mom asked me if I remembered them but to be honest
"WHO ARE THIS PEOPLE!"
As I stood their confused the Lady who must be the mother of that guy looked at my mom and said,"Kyoko its okay, its been so long that Yui must have forgotten about us"
(Conversation between the two moms)
"Yeah it's really been a long time since you guys moved out from here Ayame"
"Everything about this place changed from what I remembered"
"It sure has, so did any of your old neighbours said anything to you after seeing you guys"
"Yeah! I have lots to tell you but first of all do you know Mrs Tanaka came to my house and said something about the sale thats gonna happen the next day"
"Tell me more!....."
And with that their girls talk took the long route, leaving me alone with that guy who was busy staring with half-lidded eyes at our family photos.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on Royal Road, not stolen versions.
Since it became a little too awkward for me to sit with them not knowing who they are, I made an excuse that I had some urgent school stuff to do and went to my room. As I was taking my exit out of the room the guy looked at me, smiled and waved his hands. "This guy is really acting friendly as ever with me" I said that to myself as I walked towards my room.
While laying at my bed I started to wonder how did that guy's family know my family and also why does he acts so friendly with me. Thinking to much about it stressed my brain so I went and started to look for something to read, something hard warming to heal my soul after all the troubles I faced today.
After spending some precious moments of my life choosing which novel to read , I finally found it, a gem among novels. I took it and just as I was making my self comfortable to read it,
My Mom knocked at my door!.
With great despair I opened my door and just as I was about to ask her to leave me alone. I saw her filled with anger, she asked me to come downstairs with her which I followed with high regard as I had some, not so pleasant memories of her reducing my allowance the last time she got angry at me due to which I could not buy the special merch of one of my favourite novel.
After reaching downstairs, we went and sat at the guest room as the guy and his mom had already left.
The way my mom stared at me was as if she was a character from *Jojo's Bizarre adventure*. With all the stress building up inside me I asked my mom why did she called me. She just sat there saying nothing but I clearly understood that she was angry because I had ran away when there was a guest in the house so with beads of sweat in my face I replied
"Ah... I had some school related stuffs to do"
"So you are telling me you got school work on your first day of school?"
"YES!"
"Are you telling me the truth YUI?"
"Ye-Yes"
"Yui don't hide it I can clearly see that you are lying"
By this time I understood that it was no use in hiding it any longer, so I spat out everything.
After hearing me my mom flashed her eyes and said,"Was it because of that boy"
"WHAT!" I was shocked
"Well I mean you were acting strange today and also not to forget the waving and smiles you were getting from him"
"Ahhhh!.. I don't even know him and he is the one who is acting so friendly!"
"Wait a second Yui don't tell me you didn't recognize Keta"
"Huh! No-No he can't be Keta-kun. If my memory serves me right he had a shaven head like an onigiri (Rice Ball)"
"Ehh? Yui do you know how long its been since you last saw him, and I thought my daughter finally experienced her first love"
After saying that mom went to the kitchen to cook dinner while I was left with so many unanswered questions in my mind.
But the most important thing was if he was actually Keta-kun than how am I suppose to face him now after treating him so harshly all this time.
"My life just took a dump!"
