E CHAPTER 135: TO INCREASE THE STRENGTH

[N POV]

Dungeon manifestation.

That is the name of the disaster, which Claude sees in his fourth existence. He had no idea when this will happen in the modern world, but preparations needed to be done.

He can't simply raise the people of Arbalest's power.

The statistics are simply insufficient.

Even if he had a continent-destroying spell, he doubts he would be able to endure a horde of monsters that materialized out of nowhere.

Claude understands that he cannot protect everyone, yet ignoring their survival may cost him his life and the people he loves.

As a result, teaching people how to fight is the only way to arm them.

In other ways, Claude acts as though mandatory class to help the magician comprehend their potential and recognize their strength better than before.

As a prospective barracks location, burying the wizard in something like study without any combat training is a waste of potential.

It may benefit the world if science is studied and the secret of magic is solved. However, they must have a future before they can profit.

Because the time limit could arrive in the next three years or less, there isn't enough time to only study mystery. They must learn to wield their power more effectively in order to survive the disaster that will afflict the entire globe.

"It's amusing how I can toy with them like a child while Leviathan toys with me in our training..."

As he gazed up at the magnificent night sky, Claude remarked.

They are sitting on the balcony of the Principal's office, watching the tranquil night after finishing the first day of school.

Principal Jinas and Clara sat across from Claude, enjoying cups of hot beverages and admiring the nighttime panorama of the University.

"In fact, even if I entered the training ground, I'm not even your opponent. After learning from Arbalest, I now understand that there is more danger in this world than we can comprehend," said Principal Jinas as he slurped his tea.

"It's something that I already expect, even a single digit can deal with those bunch of amateur. You don't have to deal with them on your own, master Claude."

Clara placed her cup on the table as she told Claude.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk... well, I expect better from the teachers. Some show promise, but they are now too old. I suppose I might expect more from the academy's oldest students tomorrow."

"I digress, they may not be as strong as Rudeus."

Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.

"Hmm, I agree with Miss Clara. They may be better than the teachers because there are more students in the seventh year. But I don't think they can outperform the teachers."

"I notice Shirone's Miko among the students, but what year was he?"

"Special students are not limited by years, Master Claude."

"How would we then teach them the lesson again?"

"We can just add them all to the first year, as having them would be a disadvantage to the newly enrolled student."

"That's a fantastic concept, Principal Jinas."

"I appreciate the compliment, Teacher Claude."

"Please call me Claude, Principal. There's no need to be courteous to me..."

"I prefer calling you Teacher Claude."

"Yeah sure. Clara, What about the old Principal, that little wig-wearer..."

"He's learning obediently under Fred's supervision, master. Despite having something screwed up on his brain, that Wind King level wizard is devoted to his studies."

"So, Lord Georg is doing well, isn't he?"

"Of course he is; we're not some cold-blooded murderer. You can also go there, Principal Jinas, if you wish to study..."

"I'm alright, and I appreciate the effort."

As the night progressed, the trio continued their small talk for approximately an hour before parting ways.

Principal Jinas couldn't help but sigh when he was alone in his office.

"Even without the tragedy in the future, our University can be easily devastated by a monster from Begaritt. I'm not sure whether I should be thankful for this knowledge; it's not like I can still improve my Mana capacity to cast more spells..."

Jinas laments as he slides his hand into the table.

"I hope Lord Georg can learn all he can at Arbalest, so he can share the knowledge with the University. Sigh…”

The following day, people gather once more in the arena.

Students in robes began the magical formation and released saint-ranked recovery magic into the arena.

As a 7th year student, They carefully lined up according to the order provided by a student from Military Magic.

Their juniors clapped in awe as they saw their cool gait.

They are proud of themselves and brace themselves for any attack issued by Teacher Claude.

They were already firm in their belief that Claude would send them a large amount of bloodthirst and Mana pressure like yesterday.

However, no matter how long they travel.

It did not arrive.

"All right, are you ready?"

Claude inquired, picking his ear.

He yelled since he had received no response.

"The class will begin in 5 seconds; prepare for anything that has to be done!"

“5”

“Soldiers! Prepare your wand and begin casting your magic!"

“4”

The seventh-year student cast one spell after another, according to where they stood.

Different lines cast different magic, and they didn't mix them up in the midst of the chaos. Despite their good coordination with one another, their casting is too slow.

"3" They only chant half of the spell after 3 seconds.

They are rapidly running out of time.

"2" Claude is already slowing his count, but they are still casting the magic.

“1”

Some of them had already completed the ritual and were pointing their wand at Claude.

The spell was directed at Claude, and he just created a barrier to stop the bombardment of Intermediate rank spells as if it were nothing.

The first wave ended, followed by the second, followed by the third and fourth waves until the chant was completed.

Their constant barrage had no effect on his barrier, and the 7th year student couldn't help but gulp at what they would never believe a person could do.

"Is that all?"

Claude inquired, as they could only stare at the spotless figure in front of them. Even though the exterior of his barrier has been charred by the magic, not even the dust from the onslaught can dirty him.

"Oh well, next time find a better solution..."

Claude muttered this as he unleashed Advanced-level magic on the 7th year, drowning it in terror and suffering.

As a result, the class for the day is over.
