“Why do i have to wear a tux?!” Zeke whined walking into my room in his tux, even if he was uncomfortable in it he had to wear it he also looked really hot. Why did i just think that i thought to myself as I looked at him smiling.

“Because it's a fancy party.” I said laughing walking up over to him throwing the tie around his neck tieing it properly, my dad never knows how to tie these.

“Ok well I need to get ready” I said going over to my closet about to grab my dress.

“Shoo” I said he groaned and left my room. I slipped out of my comfy jeans and shirt, and grabbed the dress my mom bought for me I slipped it on over my head it was a black dress with purple, red and amber coming from the bottom and fading out the the top. It had a simple black belt across the middle and a no strap top. I looked at myself in the mirror, the dress made me look slender and taller. I stood at my mirror and brushed my straightened hair once more.

“Lindsey hurry!” Zeke groaned having no patients.

“You can come in” I said grabbing my wallet off of my bed. Zeke comes into my room and whistles not even attempting to hide the awed expression written all over his face.

“Your drooling” I said he quickly wiped his mouth even though i was only joking.

“You.. you look great” he said smiling.

“Thank you” I said laughing and walked out of my room.

“But not as good as Mia!” I said looking at my sister as she comes out of the room. She was wearing a teal dress with a thick gold belt and her hair was thrown into a braid.

“You look amazing” I said smiling.

“So do you and Zeke” she said looking at us.

“Well who's your date?” Zeke asked.

“Chris actually” she said smiling.

“OHHH!!!. I knew you too would be great together!” I said yelling.

“Lindsey were not gonna act like that at the party are we” my dads said smiling walking over to us.

“Of course not, we will be ladies” I said trying to hid a laugh as mia burped loudly.

“Were not there yet” she said smiling and left the hallway. We all climbed in my parent's car as my mom put on disney station on the radio. Mia and a sang along to every song as Zeke looked out the window, I leaned my head against his shoulder smiling.

“Ok you guys, so it's gonna be like it usually is. We're all gonna mingle and then the adults are going to go into a different room to do the presentation so you guys can just hang out” My dad said looping arms with my mom.

“Ok” Mia and I said the boys looked confused but linked arms with us anyways. Zeke and I slowly followed my parents walking into the building. It was huge I didn't even know we had these kind of buildings in Bend. the floor was marble and gold designing decorated the room there was a bar in the corner of the room and a staircase leading to upstairs. Zeke and I walked in as I tried to not trip on the dress, we followed my family to a group of founders.

“Mr. Kawish, these are my daughters Mia and Lindsey” My dad said motioning towards us.

“Nice to meet you” I said shaking his hand with my free one.

“Nice to meet you too” he said then turned back to my dad ignoring me.

“Wanna dance princess?” Zeke whispered into my ear I laughed and we started walking to the dance area.

“Do you even know how to dance?” I asked, he lowered his hand to the small of my back as he pulled me closer.

“Nope” he said laughing. We went into a simple box walt trying to match the other couples around us. He lifted my hand above my head spinning me. I smiled as he pulled me back in then a crushing pain was in my foot.

“Did you just step on my foot” I said through gritted teeth looking at the now embarrassed Zeke.

“I-I didn't mean to” he said rubbing the back of his neck.

“It's ok” I said taking a deep breath in then out. We went back to dancing and I stepped to the left and he stepped to the right as we pulled each other's arms against our bodies as he pulled me back in and into a spin. He leaned down and whispered in my ear.

“Your ass looks great in the dress” he said holding back a smirk, I stomped on his foot digging my heel into his foot.

“Thanks” I said and left him walking over to Mia.

“Hey” she said as I reached her.

“Hey, how are you two?” i asked looking at her and Chris.

“Bored out of our minds” he said laughing. Zeke walked up to us putting his hand on my back.

“That wasn't very nice” he said through his teeth.

“Maybe you shouldn't have commented about my ass” I said smiling.

“I mean i could make a comment about something else” he said laughing I elbowed him in the stomach but it didn't affect him to much.

Zeke P.O.V.

Lindsey looked amazing in her dress it was loose around her but still hugged all the right places, her hair was straightened and fell on her back as she walked over to Mia her hips swung slightly. I walked over to them and gently placed my hand on her back she jumped slightly at my touch.

“That wasn't very nice” I said to her.

“Maybe you shouldn't have commented about my ass” she said  smiling at me her eyes twinkled as there was laughter behind her smile.

“I mean i could make a comment about something else” I said laughing slightly she elbowed me in the stomach hitting me in the abs, i took a small step back to regain my balance. I smiled down at her i tried to focus on the conversation before me but all i could focus on was her, her voice was sweet and her blue eyes were mixed in with a little green she smiled wide as she laughed. She looked up at me and i finally focused in on what she was saying.

“Zeke?”

“Yeah?” i said swallowing

“I said i'm going to go step outside would you like to come with?” she asked i only nodded my mouth dry as I followed her outside.

“You ok you were spacing out in there” she said leaning up against a wall.

“Yeah, just… umm.. Thinking of more pick up lines” i said trying to think of an excuse instead of saying yeah i just couldn't stop staring because you're so beautiful.

“Lay them on me” she said laughing.

“What?”

“The pick up lines”

“Oh umm.. Do you work at Starbucks because I like you a latte” she laughed slightly i was trying to think of cuter ones.

“When i look at you, i try to find a signature, every masterpiece has one” i was nervous and sweat beads slowly fell down my face and my palms were getting warm but once she laughed at the next few i calmed down and gathered myself.

“Me without you is like a nerd without braces, a shoe without laces and a sentence without spaces” she didn't laugh this time from the little lighting i can tell she was blushing slightly. I smiled and slowly stepped closer.

“I thought happiness started with an H, how does mine start with you” I said her blush became stronger as she looked away for a second.

“I've tried my best to not have feelings for you, but i've failed” I said my heart was pounding as I leaned closer to her, her perfume smelled like vanilla as she looked into my eyes. I small smile appeared on her lips as she spoke.

“Kiss me if i'm wrong but, dinosaurs still exist right?” I smiled and bit my lip slightly as I leaned in kissing her, her lips were sweet and her kiss electrifying and i smiled as i pulled away.

“So you have feelings for me?” she said smiling.

“I do” i said

“I think I have feeling for you too…”

“So what does this mean” I said still close to her.

“Maybe, we could try being a couple.” she said smiling i laughed looking down then back up at her.

“I'd like that” I said smiling she snuck out from my grasp and started walking towards the door.

“So can I call you princess now that we're together” I said catching up with her.

“That hasn't stopped you before” she laughed.

“Well i mean, without you telling me to stop” I said smiling.

“Yeah, you can” she said smiling.

“Good because i like to call you princess” I said kissing the top of her head she blushed and looked down.
