As everyone in the ship goes down to the 2nd floor of the ship to evacuate, some go to the first floor to rescue the injured inside the medical Centre, but some weren’t so lucky and got crushed by the falling debris. Suddenly the whole ship shakes, and a loud explosion occurs. At the same time all of the technology on the ship stopped working, meaning no more artificial gravity and circulated breathable gas to breath in, causing some non prepared Be-ru’s to die, but made navigation easier. But it doesn't help with Jed on the other hand in his current situation.
“Ah shit! There goes the entire training area and parts of the walls too, I think part of the cafeteria was also ripped apart, but at least me and Sally aren’t injured” as I float around aimlessly while looking around, ”Well, I think Eulalia is definitely mad and will interrogate on what I did to her ship, I think the best action is to get off this ship, and maybe even go to another universe,”
“Well sir, she is currently coming towards here in a very coordinated pace, she will reach us in about 2 minutes, also almost every electronic and technology that is on this ship, was immediately shut down, caused by that build up of energy and your interference with trying to stop it,” as Evo reminding me of what happened
“Ya I can tell, there isn’t any flashy interior and technology powered on, also is it safe for me to speak out loud instead of speaking in mind,” as I exit out the ship, by the once training room that existed here.
“It’s safe for you sir to speak out verbally, but I will still be speaking to your mind just to be safe,”
“So what and where do I go now? What happened to the Be-ru’s in the ship? I want to know if they are safe, since well I kinda messed up the ship, and I want to at least help out before travelling alone again,” as I go out even further to examine how big the damage was.
“Well I have some recommendations I came up with. You could leave right now, and go to Earth right now, as I have the location and direction on where to go when scanning all of the data in the ship before it happened, and leave them here and a high possibility of wanting revenge on you and reporting you to the higher ups in there guild, and have some kind of danger on you, a bounty. You could go to the Be-ru’s that are helping each other out to evacuate everyone out of the ship, and help them leave and along the way rescue Be-ru’s that are lost and trapped in this destroyed ship, and maybe find the Captain. You could also just not interact with them, and just fix the ship, or power on their evacuation ships, and I could send them their lost data that I currently saved. The final option is that you could just destroy and kill everyone right now and leave no trace behind, as if they just disappeared. Could be a chance to try out your weapons you asked for, on a living creature,” as Evo turned ominous and evil for a couple of seconds when he said that last part.
“Um ya no, I am definitely not doing your last recommendation I am not that horrible, but I could just help them by powering up their evacuation ships, or whatever they call them, and send them their data, but I won’t be helping with finding Be-ru’s inside the ship, I think they could do that themselves, and I will be heading towards my species system, or well planet Earth. Now is there a way to camouflage, turn invisible or like make me not be able to be not detectable from them?” as I come back into the ship, by using the hole as an entrance.
“Actually there are multiple ways, but I am guessing you want to not be seen and be heard, and at the same time be detected by some device. Let me do that for you sir,” As Evo makes the suit transparent and almost invisible.
“‘Woah, I can see through myself, but how about my head and Sally?” as I examine and see if I can touch it.
“I just changed the design of your suit to make it look transparent and not make any sound, and there’s a very small shield that prevents you from being detected by any tracking devices. Now you may do what you are about to do sir, and I will be looking out for you,” as Evo goes silent, and a tracker system pops up on the top right corner of my mask.
“Alright let’s help them out just a tiny bit,” as I go inside the ship finding my way inside the dark, destroyed ship.

“Dammit, where is Jed!” as Eulalia tries to find her way through the dark ship. ”At this rate, I am going to ran out of breathable gas, and have to go to the second floor and evacuate out of this ship without gaining any more information about Jed,” as she explores the top floor with some difficulty traversing through.
“S.I.T, can you hear me?” as she turns on her comms
“Yes, captain as clear as it can get,” as one of the team members speaks up
“How is the evacuation process going? Are the ships able to start?” as she checks her gas levels, seeing that it’s at 25% left.
“Well ma-am the engineers and researchers are trying to fix and start up the ships, only problem is that, all of the tech and machinery has malfunctioned, and they are trying their best to fix them as quickly as possible as all of us are running out of breathable gas, and the nearest and fastest ships will get here in 1 hour and by then we’ll all be dead,” as another S.I.T member speaks up and sends pictures of the problems are.
“That ain’t good, conserve as much as possible, and get everyone to priorities in fixing up the evacuation ships, and try to find some gas tanks to have a higher chance at surviving longer,” as she puts it away.
“Dammit, guess I’ll have to start heading back down to 2nd floor, and save as much as possible,” as she heads to the direction of going down to the 2nd floor
As she heads towards the second floor, she hears some objects here on the walls of the ship, and goes to investigate. When she turned around to a hallway there were only floating and spinning objects going forward very slowly going up.
“Strange, I definitely heard someone over here… They are probably gone now, and I need to focus on going to the second floor to conserve,” as she turns around and goes back to the original route she was heading to.

“Oh that was way too close for comfort,” as Jed is stuck onto the ceiling of the hallway, ”I really need to be more careful, as I almost got caught by Eulalie. Hmm seems that she might be heading towards the 2nd floor,” as I carefully float down near the floor.
“Hey Evo, is there a faster way to get down to the 2nd floor? Since I need to be there first to secretly fix the ships, before Eulalia get there,”
“I calculated all odds and choices you could take in your current position and situation and I say, you use the Photon Cutter, and cut a hole underneath you as you are below the hanger currently.”
“Oh already I’ll trust you on this, give me the cutter,” as it materializes on my hand
“Alright, right time to break in and help them out,” as I switch it on, and start making a circle around me. ”Alright that was smooth and quick, love it. Lets sneak in and power on their ships,” as I quietly go down the hole I made.
As my whole body is all the way through I look around to see about around 10 big ships, capable of holding hundreds of people.
“Hmmm I see around 10-15 Be-ru’s fixing and checking the ships, probably figuring out what is wrong with them,” as I carefully go towards a ship
“Well sir actually, around 80% of the crew in this ship are actually helping out trying to power up the ship, and the other 20% are exploring around this ship, scavenging and trying to find tools and useful resources or information that were left behind while everyone was leaving,”

“Oh that explains it, Evo could you scan all of the ships in the hangar and try to figure out what is wrong with them? I don’t know anything about engineering, especially related to spaceships. I am gonna float around and watch the Be-ru’s talk to each other,” as I float towards one of the ships.
“Alright sir, give me a few minutes to figure out their ship's issue,” as Evo starts scanning the entire area.
“Alright while Evo those that, lets see what these 2 Be-ru’s are talking about,” as I carefully land on the ship, and listen to their conversation.
“Got any luck on what the issue of this ship is?” as the red and blue striped Be-ru opens something inside the ship
“Sorry mate, but no, it's still the same for me here. There isn’t any damage on the ship physically, I think it’s something to do with the power of the ship and if so we aren’t gonna be able to fix it in time before we ran out of these mixed gases we are breathing upon,” as the black and white polka dot answer’s back, closing something inside the ship.
“Hope so too, let’s check the inside of the ship, and see if anything is busted or needing to be fixed,” as the red and blue Beru closes the thing back and opens the doors of the ship, and goes in along with the other one.
“Hmmm, I think that explosion destroyed or disabled something important inside the ships, since there wasn’t any physical damage they said, maybe that explosion was an EMP?”, while I am theorizing on what the problem was, Evo came back.
“Sir, found out what the problem was. The main ship we are in, and these 10 evacuation ships, have their energy/power core disabled, which would take them 2 hours to fix for each one if they focus on a single ship.” as Evo shows me a diagram of all the ships
“So, you could fix them right?” as I float back up to the hole I made
“Well yes, but to fix the power cores faster I need to deconstruct or absorb an actual power core, and I found a perfect replica to absorb,” as he shows me a map of the entire ship, including all 3 floors, and pinpoints a room.
“Wait, isn’t that where the power core is located, to power up the entire ship?”
“You are correct sir. Since theoretically you won’t be fixing the main ship, we might as well absorb the main energy source that powers this ship,” as Evo gives me the directions on the fastest route to head to.
“Oh, I need to go to the middle of the second floor, and drill underneath it. Alright then, let’s exit this hanger and go to the middle of the second floor,” as I looked around for the exit of this room, and went straight into the doors.
As Jed exits the hanger, he starts heading towards his destination. Along the way he sees rooms that are destroyed and are a mess, while some are intact and only need some power to make it available. Along the way he sees a couple of Be-ru’s searching inside the rooms and are holding either devices, boxes, or just piles of paper. After a couple of seconds of floating, Jed finally reaches the middle of the 2nd floor.
“Alright I am here, Evo anyone near hearing distance and viewing distance?”
“No life or machines detected in hearing or viewing distance, of your actions you are all set,”
“Alright let’s cut another hole and see what thing is powering this massive object, capable of powering FTL technology,” as I get my cutter out and start cutting a hole on the floor. ”Alright it’s done, time to see the advanced technology and fix the Be-nu ships,” as I go into the hole.
As I descend into the hole, I see a massive sphere that is contained in a transparent material, with lots of giant metal wires attached to it all around. On the floor there seemed to be controls to operate and keep check the power core. There were 4 of them, and it surrounds the front of the giant sphere. As I was about to start touching the controls and the core itself, Evo stepped in.
“Sir, I wouldn't touch the controls that stabilizes the power core if I were you, and don’t touch the core itself as it’s very magnetic, has its own small magnetic field, and very hot even when it seems to be powered off or damaged,” as Evo forcefully stops my movements and a warning symbol appears.
“Alright, alright I won’t touch anything,” as I stand back away from them
“I will be preparing to scan and absorb the entire power core, including the controls to analyze and replicate to know what’s wrong with the evacuation ships,” as Evo stops talking for a second and starts making beeping noises
“Huh if I were to guess, this is probably going to be a big one and should probably be mentally prepared for the worst,” as I calm my mind and pat Sally.
“You are to be correct sir, finished scanning the core, now I will be initiating to absorb the core and the system of it. A disclaimer sir, this will hurt.” as a countdown pops up on my face
“Oh shoot! Gotta be mentally prepared, wait how do I do that!” as the timer hits zero, a loud beeping sound occurs and the suit starts vibrating.
After a couple of seconds of vibration, the suit disassembles away from Jed's body, and slithers across the room heading towards the controls and the core leaving Jed defenseless and without a mask to cover his face, and makes Sally startled needing for her to adjust her body to be wrapped around Jed’s neck again.
“Oh flip, I don’t think this is what my skin is supposed to look like. They flipping have line patterns, and they are very rough? I’ll worry about that later, right now I am completely vulnerable. Thank gosh my body found a way to adapt, without oxygen or any breathable gas. But it is terrifying and amazing to watch my suit break down, the metal and the core slowly.” as I watch intently while I feel my body keep changing.
After 30 seconds, the entire maintenance control room and the whole power core has been completely absorbed and deconstructed, and millions of small metal goop slithering and floating towards Jed, like it’s a hivemind of insects. As they come into contact with Jed’s body, they start to attach themselves to his skin, and Jed starts to go into pain.
“Ahhhh! So this is what Evo meant that it will hurt! I am in constant pain, it feels like I am taking a shower in molten magma and at the same time getting stabbed with multiple sharp objects!” as I scream in pain, and curled up trying to act tough but failing miserably.
This happens for another minute, and all of the small metal parts finish attaching themselves to Jed, and resembling back to what the suit originally looked like, and Jed is in complete shock because of how much pain he had gone through.
“I did warn you sir that there would be lots of pain. Sorry about splitting myself apart from your body, didn’t have enough parts of myself to engulf the entire area so needed to separate from you and started to dismantle the materials that the objects were made of and used it to increase my mass, area, and volume. The suit now has 55% more parts of itself when absorbing the entire power core, including the other objects. I then decided to use about 40% of that and attach it to your skin and your body adapted to it and fused with it, that’s why you were feeling lots of pain, so technically they are artificial scales that you can change how you want to look. The rest of the 15% I just upgraded your suit, and you can now bring out 2 small weapons simultaneously. As for what the problem was, of the power cores for this main ship and the evacuation ships, they just needed a reactivation of the same amount of energy they produce to stabilise themselves because of that energy surge when that grenade released all of the energy it contained inside.” as Evo finishes up what the main changes and important things I need to know.
“Thank you Evo, now I am even less human than before. But hey at least I when you split yourself apart from me, I won’t be vulnerable. Now let’s head back to the ships and secretly fix them,” as I was about to go up back to the hole I made, Evo notified me again.
“Oh that won’t be needed since, it’s not a physical repair and it’s a energy repair, I can just send tiny bits of particles and a little bit of protons and electrons to fix themselves up, and you don’t need to bump into any Be-ru’s by accident and you could just leave right now, and head straight to your destination,” as Evo shows me the powered up ships, and Be-ru’s slowly going inside them.
“Oh phew, since I didn’t really wanna meet them since I was the cause of what happened to their ship,” as I sign in relief,” Now, Evo change me to that travelling version of my suit that allows to travel very fast efficiently, and give me the direction on where Earth is,” as I stretch and get ready to move.
“Here you go sir, your travel suit, and I upgraded your mask sir. Instead of a mask that tells the person you are talking to what emotion you are making, it’s just a black void, that is filled with galaxies, nebulas, and stars that are constantly changing, and also your directions.” as Evo makes a mirror on what I look like now.
“Oh what the, I look like a bounty hunter that is about to exterminate an entire race of evil creatures, only difference is that my face is covered by a visor or mask, that has a space design that keeps changing.” as I walk over to the wall of the ship.” Evo gives me a shotgun since I am going to be leaving anyway, might as well go out in style.” as I get ready to receive it
“Here ya go sir, but I have to warn you, some of the Be-ru’s will sense the shot of your gun, especially Eulalia. But it’s your choice,” as the gun floats around
“Alright here we go!” as I power up the shot and blast through the metal walls revealing the shining dark space, ”Woah that way more powerful than before, and I just powered it up by 10 seconds,”
“Oh ya, I forgot to tell you a couple of things, when absorbing that core, it gave me an energy boost, allowing me to upgrade everything in this suit, including your weapons, and also gave them the blueprints and information on how to fix there ship and what they need to do to fixed there evacuation ships,”
“Oh fine with me. Now let’s go and actually make some progress on going to Earth!” as I went full throttle and immediately

“Is everyone on the evacuation ships?” as Eulalia sits on the pilot seat of one of the ships
“Affirmative Captain!,” as each 9 of the pilot of the ships speaks out loud
“Good, now let’s move out and report this to the Administrator of our current situation,” as she powers up the ship and exits the main ship.’I’ll be right back to my trusted ship. I will definitely get my claws on that Jed creature!’ as she squeezes the ship’s handle very hard, and one of the co-pilot’s notices it
“Captain, you are about to break the steering handle of the ship!” as he speaks out loud
As she gets her sense back, ”Oh sorry about that. Now I have some questions, what were the problems that caused the evacuation ship’s reactor core to malfunction and how did the engineers and researchers fix it very quickly?” as she types in the coordinates to a screen
“Well when that energy surge happened throughout the entire ship that caused nearly all of our technology and power to stop including the cores, even with lots of precautions and defenses around them, and how they fixed it very fast is unknown. Somehow or someway they just abruptly powered on, as if something just fixed them automatically. Which was good since most of were reaching 5%,” as the co-pilot checks all of the equipment to make sure everything is stable
“Also, if anyone sees a creature named Jed, I have some unfinished…business with him,” as she became angry when saying his name.
“Sorry Captain but no, our tracking devices were destroyed, malfunctioned, or just ran out of power. But one of the trackers picked a high amount of energy at the third floor near the main power core of your ship, and at the same time we received blueprints, information, and all of our research and testing data when that happened,” as he shows the amount of data they received.
“Oh that’s good, at least we didn’t lose a large amount,” as she looks at them for a second, ’Hmmm if I were to guess this must have been Jed’s doing. At least he restored the important date, but I still won’t forgive him for what he did to my ship!’ as she slams the control panel.
“Noooo, my panel, that was my favorite one” as the co-pilot brushes it softly and makes sure it wasn't broken and hugs it for a couple of seconds.
“Sorry about that, now let’s head to our guild station as we need a new ship,” as she finishes up and puts the coordinates in and shares it with all other ships.” All right crew let’s go, and a single team of 6 trackers focus on finding Jed,” as she speeds off, followed by the other ships.
