Today is the delivery date of David’s capsule .

David couldn’t sleep all night.  He had many expectations , waiting like a 4 year old after Santa Clause in winter. He kept fidgeting all night , making different scenarios in his mind, so he barely had a wink of sleep. He woke up, freshened up when the phone rang.

There wasn’t a second ring , because David was too fast in picking it up.

David: Hello?Hello?

Alex: Hi David… what up?...did your capsule come yet?

David: um… not yet…

Alex: don’t sound so disappointed..hahaha…o by the way did u see the video message on the news?

David: no ..what message?

Alex: u didn’t watch it?.... hahah …don’t you have TV’s in that village of yours?

David: yes we have but I didn’t have time to watch it..

Alex: hahahha you busy man..haha..anyway not going to spoil it ..you will see the message when u log in..

David: yea….anyway why did u call?

Alex: oh yea….the game is a bit weird in some areas so write this down…..17’25” N 148’32” E…just remember them...and chose human race …we need some help and we need a human.

David: uhm…okay..but what are those numbers?

Alex: they are coordinates….you will understand after the tutorial...anyway call me before you log in

David: mmm ok.

They said their goodbyes and then they hang up. David was a bit disappointed  because he wanted to choose dwarf race if it was available, but he was happy helping his friends so he didn’t mind if he chose human because it was a versatile race to play.

2 hours later the delivery team arrived at his dojo-house and started to install the capsule. David read online the type1 capsule’s specifications so he was familiar with the specifications for type 2.

Type 2 had a better massage system , could video record game play, AC system , and most importantly for David it was more comfy.

After the capsule was installed, the papers were signed , and the delivery team left , David was ready to play.

He called Alex and told him he is going to log in.

He sat in the capsule, closed the lid , started the system and waited.

Suddenly he was enveloped in darkness, he couldn’t feel his body. He got scared at first over this new sensation, but then he calmed down.

The darkness was slowly fading away and he could feel his body limbs and body gradually.

He didn't need to register because every capsule is registered to a single user as they can't be sold to somebody else. Every capsule , helmet or any other VR device has a serial witch is automatically transmitted to the servers when a user is connecting.

The darkness completely faded and he appeared in a underground stone arena. he was greeted by a small , well built , hairy dwarf, named Volf.

AI:"hello there young Adventurer!"

D:"hi.."

AI:"Lets get this over with..i don't have much time!"

D:"what..hum what..."

AI:" OK lets start tutorial..but first..yea the video message"

D:'is this guy a really a AI?"

David didn't have much time to be weird-ed out, because soon a large screen appeared in front of him.

D:’Holy shit!.... how much money does this guy have…that’s enough to get in top 200 richest man in the world…..hah ha…this is crazy….i wonder I I hate this guy?...hmm reminds me of someone….’

AI:”ok lets start”

D:’ hmm where have I heard…ohhh yea that CEO…no wonder I hate him…hahaha’

AI:”oiiii…heyyyy…lets start already!”

D:” Ok what next?”

The AI dwarf was smiling at David and if you would look closely you could see a forced smile and a popped vein on his forehead.

AI:” ok here is the basic”

The AI started to explain :

- The world is divided in 14 continents

- David can start from the continent of Molder , also know as the continent of a 1000 Kingdoms

- As starting kingdom he can chose 1 of the 1000 or chose coordinates.

- Since the world is too big there is a npc transport system owned and administered by the Church of Gaia( in continent of Molder; each continent has its own church)

- you can teleport using special scrolls that are hard to find , varying from rare to SSS; you write coordinates on them and say command teleport

- you can also use the church teleport system but the costs are enormous; even the cheapest service equivalent to a rare scroll is 1 mil gold and SSS service is 100 mil gold or cheaper depending on reputation with the church. So you could teleport to a rare , hard to find dungeon, but probably the cost was greater than the loots you found in there, so it was better to go on foot or  other means of transportation.

- You can leave the starting village or starting point ; there is no beginning period. You could spawn and start hunting but at lvl 1 you will surely be killed 100% of the time by the weakest monster near.

- Death has penalties :

- if level 1-5 you die , log off cool down 1 h, you don’t lose skill masteries, but you will get negative experience equivalent to 10% needed to lvl up.

- If lvl 5-10 dies, log off cool down 3 h, you don’t lose skill masteries, but you will get negative experience equivalent to 10% needed to lvl up.

- If you are between lvl 10-500 and you die, 24 h you lose 10% of skill masteries and 10% of experience needed for  lvl up.

- Above lvl 500 and you die you lose 1 level of all skill masteries you have , 1 level and 72 h cool down

- 31 races available for play, 7 available to start 25 locked…available after unlocking them through quests or using a change race totem

- Dwarf , Human, Elf, Night Elf, Beast-man, Plant and Orc.

- Races can be combined to make mixed races( theoretically millions of sub races available for chosing)

D:’did he just tch!?....probably this is his personality…like it was said in that tv conference..hmm’

D:” hmmmm..for first…. Human. …and appearance ..same...name same ...David”

AI: “ ok let’s start”

D:”make my hair silvery...hmm...that would look cool..hahha”

AI:’ show off ‘

D:”hmm what else…hmmm ahh… I want body movement tutorial..haha ha almost forgot”

D:’ hope they have something like this.. maybe I can get extra stats..hehehe’

David read past those 15 days lots of forums and fan fictions and he  decided to try some ideas in here.

First was to keep the same body to get used to it easier and second was to try tutorial and rain stats here since probably there is no need for stamina or mana and there is no risk of dying.

And David was right.. there was such a tutorial….much to the annoyance of Volf the AI.

AI:” ok here you go …obstacle course and scare crow here u go take sword hit...but hurry!”

D:’maybe there really is some hidden bonus here since it seems the AI doesn’t want me to go there and try it’

So David wen to the tutorial section and started running the obstacle course. After 2 h he mastered the body movement, but then he spent another 3 h trying to get some agility stats. Unfortunately he didn’t get any stats. Next was the scarecrow. He grabbed the wooden sword and started hitting the scarecrow. He started  badly, but as hours went on, he managed to strike in the zone of the vital points: head, neck , limbs , joints, and so on, probably thanks to some knowledge of sword fighting he obtained watching Lee Woo`s students. He knew a few striking poses and stances but they were still amateurs ones.

Surprisingly he managed to put a lot of force into his strikes thanks to his stamina( for daily hell running ) and the strength he developed from blacksmithing. It seems the VR system can take some skills from real life and transfer them in VR.

After 9 h of tutorial , he turned back to Volf the Ai who had tons of popped veins on his forehead.

AI: “ finished”

D:” yes…I thought I would get some stats from this”

Ai:” hahha don’t worry ..I’ll give you some thans to all the time you spent with me”

D:”really?”

AI:” yes…you will get a new unique type of stat from me and a title”

D:’jackpot!’

AI:” ok now lastly where do u want to start”

David remembered his conversation with Alex and the coordinates

D:” uhmmm … 17’25” N 148’32” please”

AI:” ha ha ha really these coordinates…and a human…we will meet again ..hahaha….you wasted my time….hahha ..enjoy your new stats….u greedy human..hahha….really what fortune…really this cordonates….hahahha”

David was wondering why he was laughing but the next thing the AI spoke it was all clear to him.

AI: “ hah ha u wasted my time…10 h…to the great Me...really…hope we won’t meet again for your sake…hahha….or I’ll F*cking kill you…now f*ck off!!!!Teleport!”

David was suddenly teleported into the sky, 10 km up in the sky above the coordinates he chose.

He started to fall down at a high speed and he was seeing getting closer and closer to a village.

Half way down a window appeared in front of him.

sorry cant release chapter 2 today....i tried to study the box code on forums..and it will take some time till i master it :D

Chapter 2 tomorrow and 3 and 4  on the weekend because i have an exam on Friday and i have to study... wish me luck if i pass it i have more time for chapters...chapter 3 and 4 will have blue stat box in them :D
