Synopsis
Social outcast Bishop Browne hates putting up with other people. What would they know about what he's dealing with? Attending college is a drag and tolerating nosy people, his parents, or anyone else is too much! Then a bright idea crosses his mind. Why not go camping? Just get away from it all! A change of pace might be just what he needs to deal with his personal problems.
Then again, he could have picked a better spot to do it... The last thing to make it out of Lake Hancock was a corpse.
(This book contains scenes of violent death, themes of suicide, profanity, and other disturbing elements. Viewer discretion is advised.)
Side Note: I want to go ahead and put it out there that this is the third remake of this story. I've gone through a lot of different ideas about what I wanted to turn this into, and after writing the 2nd revision during college I'm now certified for my career and I want to finally finish this off properly. My estimate for how long this book will end up being is around the ball park of 80k - 100k words. I've decided on a conclusive ending and want to make sure that, for my first ever completed book, it holds up in terms of writing quality. For the most part, I primarily see this as an exercise but I really enjoy writing so any comments, suggestions, critique, or anything in between is absolutely welcome.
