As I entered into the cavern, which was the dungeon, I only saw was a single path forwards and what seemed like monsters. I didn’t care for the puny little insects that were the monsters as I would use [Step] to press forward, killing every one of them leaving a trail of absolute carnage. Blood, limbs, torn guts, and even brains were scattered everywhere on the walls, roof, and floor of the dungeon. Every so often there are larger monsters for some reason and larger rooms that these monsters would reside in. After the first room like this, I realized that these monsters were required to kill to go farther down the dungeon. After I would leave the larger rooms, it seemed like the monsters were completely different. These larger monsters were the only ones that were fun to kill. I kept a count of the number of rooms like this as I would travel farther through. The farther I go into the dungeon, the bigger and larger every section would get. The creatures began to get faster and what seemed stronger? I really couldn’t tell much about the strength of the creatures since not a single one ever withstood a slice, punch, or kick from me.
It has been an hour since I first entered this dungeon. I honestly should have researched how big this dungeon is. I have been through ninety-five large rooms and haven’t found anything at all. As I ran through the next area, I soon arrived at something that hasn’t been present before at all. I am met with three different paths diverging off into different locations. When I saw this at first, I opened my map to find Hanzo’s location. Wait why does my marker overlap with his? Does this mean I am above him? Haha haha, I finally get to smash some shit. I get down onto one knee and used all my strength and threw a punch into the floor below me. It starts to crack, then everything around me falls. As I fell I looked down to see a bottomless pit of darkness. [Step] and now I am at the bottom of the pit. When I look up I see a circle with a bunch of scribbles and symbols. I use [Hover] to walk in the air to make sure there aren’t any traps since I don’t know where I am actually at. I walk towards the circle and realize that said circle was around an ice prism. The prism was in the dead center of the circle, the lines and scribbles went around the prism. God, what have they done to you man?
“Hanzo, I know this has to be you. I will get you out of there, and we need to find them. They are here with us. Trust me.” I said as I had my hand on the prism. Even though I couldn’t see inside of the ice, I knew it was him. [Create] Burn this seal and the ice. Free him from his slumber. Please I beg of you return my friend! At the moment of wishing, the scribbles and symbols on the ground started to light up. The light grew brighter, at first red, then orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, and then finally it became pure white. When the color shifted to white, seconds later nothing was there. As if nothing was there, to begin with, the lines were gone. When the lines disappeared, then ice soon followed. When the ice finished vaporizing, I felt a great weight on my chest. I look down to see my friend, the only person I could trust Hanzo. He wasn’t a baby so the map I made was correct, he was at the same age from Earth nineteen. He has short white hair. He was about the same height me, maybe a little shorter. He was slim, yet his body’s muscles were very defined for his age. His face was exactly handsome, yet it was ugly either. I examined his body to check for injuries and only saw a tattoo. The tattoo went from his left leg, it wrapped around it multiple times, then it moved up and around his chest and back. Then the tattoo branched off to his right arm. After further examination, I realized it was multiple dragons that wrapped around his body. I layed him down onto the ground carefully, to make sure I do not hurt him. I realized that the tattoo was a symbol. I looked at my tattoo and thought they could be the same, marks from gods. I used [Create] to wake him up.
“DAMN YOU, DIRECTOR! GIVE HER BACK YOU FUCKING SNEAKY BASTARD!” Hanzo yelled as he jumped up, not knowing where he is or what has happened.
“Well, Well, Well. That’s quite an insult for someone that just saved you isn’t, Hanzo? Here I thought you were going to be happy with the new life and news I have for you. First of all.” I said to him while flipping my hood down. When my hood was down, so you can see my face, I finished my sentence.
“You’re supposed to say thank you, then where are you, hug here and there. Yet, to insult your only friend. I am ashamed of you!” I playfully said, and as I finished I laughed.
“H-Hyu, you’re not dead? We were told that you died. I guess that was a lie, yet we were killed.” Hanzo said.
“Yea you did die, actually all ten of us were killed. Now we ALL ARE in another world, don’t ask how you got here cause I don’t know that part. I got here by you know forcing my way here. This continent is called Aurora. We are currently in a town called Doto, the capital of the country Safrin. The next thing is this.” I said as I used [Create] to make clothes and another coat, exactly like mine, for him to wear.
“Put this on, you’re naked. Now back onto topic, since WE ALL ARE here we need to find Airi and Valerie imminently. Since we have just been born. Besides you for some reason, you are the only person out of the ten that wasn’t born a week ago. When I was born, I practiced my ‘magic abilities’ and grew as strong as I could within a week. Then I used my abilities to speed up my growth to the same age from Earth, nineteen and found the exact locations of almost all of the ten. Airi was the only one that I couldn’t find the exact location, only the relative location.” I told Hanzo, then proceeded to tell him my story start to end from death to now. Afterward, I answered all the questions he had.
{Hours Later}
“Man thank you honestly, without you I would have never seen Valerie again. I am perfectly prepared for this, and also thanks for giving me some of your abilities.” Hanzo cheerfully stated.
“No problem man, just remember about the contract we signed. We are blood brothers, we will share everything. Yet, you still could die by violating the contract. So please don’t violate man. I’m glad that I can finally use [Cell] and have another person to speed up the search. Anyways let us get going and leave this shitty dungeon.” I told Hanzo.
Stolen content warning: this tale belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences elsewhere.
“Agreed!” He said.
I had him sign a contract I made through [Create]. This would grant him the same abilities I have, as long as he stays my blood brother, he doesn’t betray me and if he helps me complete the mission we made what we going to do back on Earth.
When we arrived back to the entrance of the dungeon we were met with a bunch of new faces. There is a man in a torn-up robe standing in front of me. His hair was black and messy, his clothes were unviewable from my angle. The torn robe was black and it was waving in the wind as he stood there. His face had a scowl currently located on it. Since I actually can’t waste any more time I spoke without giving the man in front of me a chance.
“What is this shit about? We have something to do. So move out of the way or I will make you do so. Understood?” I said without giving any form of caring.
“So you are the guy that killed my men, Huh? It seems you don’t understand who I am, I am the guild leader of Insanity, Mangala. You are to either surrender or be killed by our hands. I have brought all the S-ranked and A-ranked guild members with me to fight you since you have already been confirmed to have killed two A-ranked guild members.” He told me acting as if he was of the higher plane of existence.
“Hanzo get going now, I am going to relieve some stress and test something if needed,” I told Hanzo.
“Understood,” He said as he uses [Step] to teleport out of Safrin.
“Let us get going, attack me already. Let’s see what these so-called S-ranked and A-ranked people can do.” I said as I wave my hand, symbolizing come at me.
Mangala sent all his guild members to attack me. Every single person launched attacks of different elements and calibers. [Time] I froze time to examine the fighting abilities of the so-called top guild. As I looked around I saw different forms of magic that were sent towards me. From each person, I saw some interesting things. I saw balls and streaks of lightning and fire. It also seemed like that some people had no fighting ability, they were casting several different things onto the other adventurers. I thought this was interesting, is this how guilds fight? Wait, where did that guy go? There were twenty people in front of me a minute ago, now there are only nineteen. I looked around and I couldn’t find him anywhere. I decided to let time resume as normal, to see if he would appear anywhere. When time resumed the magic that was thrown towards me just hit the entrance to the dungeon. Since I was already behind them, I wasn’t hit at all.
“Volcano Magic: Hell’s Fire!” Screamed a voice above me. When I looked up I saw a sword slicing in my direction with a red flame coating the sword. This was the guy, the one I couldn’t find. This will be amusing, I will take this strike head-on. I put my left arm up to the sword's blade to block the blade, thinking that this would work. As the blade got closer, I lost the vision of the blade itself. By the time I realized what had happened my coat had caught on fire and started to burn. Before I had a chance to stop the fire, my coat was already destroyed. When my coat was burnt, I got pissed. I instantly killed every single one of the adventurers, I wasn’t going to play around anymore after my coat burning up. I was furious, as I grew exponentially angrier my back grew hotter. Soon my back felt like I had another pair of limbs attached to it, yet it felt perfectly natural.
“Insanity was it? Well, guess what? You have officially pissed me the fuck off!” I said as my voice became more and more demonic as each word I spoke came out. Wait what is this? A weapon summoning, whatever it is I don’t care anymore I am using it. As I thought of the summoning requirements, I immediately used them. As I started to summon the sky started to turn dark, the pressure of overbearing strength was pressed onto everyone around me forcing them onto the ground, and my tattoo on my arm started to shine a pitch-black light. Yet, the town was lit due to the lights of the street lamps and houses shining through the darkness. Soon gravity increased around me in a twenty-foot radius, forcing everyone to eat the dirt below them. The heavens started to shake rapidly, scaring most of the gods. Soon the words came to my mind:
??? summoning: Railgun
My hands started to have black lighting shoot out of it. Soon the lighting formed a shape, the shape of a handgun. I examined the gun, soon I smiled as I thought the destruction it could cause. The overall length was thirty-five cm, it had a revolving magazine, that held a total of seven bullets. The barrel was elongated. An oversized revolver would accurately describe the firearm. The main feature of this handgun was that it could produce an electromagnetic force to help accelerate the magic poured into the gun. When magic was poured into the gun it would produce a bullet and fire at the same time. It is the darkest black that you would ever see, with the same symbol, the triangle, engraved onto the side. The symbol was red. As I moved my gun to the side [Box] surrounded it, then soon consumed it. As I looked into [Box] it was present in my storage unit. I tried a few times to resummon it from the storage, and each time it went from my [Box] straight into my hand, every time the electricity would be launched at any location as I would hold the gun.
After summoning the railgun, Mangala was so scared that I saw the outline of a watermark grow larger and larger around his pelvis. Wasn’t he a guild leader, who was supposed to be the strongest person around?
“The fuck mate? I thought you were an incredibly strong guild leader that can’t be beaten, were you not? Now you are pissing your pants like a baby, grow up and attack me or you will die first. Let me see your strength as a guild leader already.” I said scoffingly at him. This is a ridiculous appearance for any man Jesus. Oh, wait he is finally getting up. He is finally standing up, while he is looking at the ground. Hmm? He is drawing his sword finally. Let's see what he has to offer as the strongest person in the Insanity Guild.
“Let me introduce myself again. I am the G-ranked guild leader of the Insanity Guild. People either call me the Sword Hero or the Blood Sword. It doesn’t matter anyway. I will use my strongest art and magic against you. Either I will die or we both will.” He says to me while still looking at the ground. He draws his sword, the sword is sharpened on both sides. It has spikes at the spot the blade enters the handle. The handle is a bright red colored wood, the wood is spiral. The blade itself has no special characteristics. When he points the sword at me, he finally looks up at me and speaks three phrases in a row:
Blood Art: Sacrifice
Sword Art: Final Stand
Shadow Magic: God’s Retaliation
The sword glowed red, as with his whole body. Seconds later he moved towards me when he moved sonic booms were created with each step. The speed that he moved at obviously broke the speed of sound. After two steps he had already moved up to me, his sword was at my bare chest. When he sliced towards the ground his sword and his body went right through me. When he went all the way through me, he turned around to see if that killed me. I stood there unfazed, the attack did no damage to me at all. When he looked closer at me, his view of my back turned upside down. At that moment his head fell onto the ground and rolled towards my direction. In which I stopped his head with my left foot, and I laughed. The last thing Mangala saw was a man laughing, with a pair of black dragon-like wings on his back. On the man’s right arm was a black ring hovering around the arm. The pair of wings was foretold in legends as the mark of the creator god, Dievas. Yet, the ring was never told in legends for a certain reason.
