So, anyone who's added this to their watch list is probably surprised they got a notification about it. Sorry about that. I've been having problems writing this, namely unmotivation and dissatisfaction. Basically I was stuck doing nothing for the longest time, and now I finally realized why (I know, I'm slow.). When I "rewrote" the story, I didn't really change anything from before; I just fixed some errors and added some length. The problem of garbage writing didn't go away, I just hid it under slightly better writing.

The obvious fix to this is to dump it all and completely restart from scratch, which is exactly what I'm going to do. I'll be deleting this fiction page entirely (even though I'm sorta proud of my early fiction number) and creating a new one. Unfortunately that means all the comments and such will be gone, but we'll be starting from a fresh slate.

While the basic plotline will stay the same, I'll be making some drastic changes. Mainly, POV and starting position. I feel that the 3rd person perspective I had going was not conveying what I wanted it to, and I think this story needs a more personal approach. It will still be 3rd person, but more focused on James. For the starting position, I had originally planned to make this an innocent game development, but had changed my mind during the rewrite. This obviously created some inconsistencies.

I won't be posting any detailed information here, but know that in 3 hours I'll be deleting this page and creating a new one. I will also release the new first chapter sometime tonight.

I promised I would finish this story, and I will. I've stumbled just past the starting line, but I'm not giving up.
