Thrasher and Dream Knight head away from the center of town. They decided to no longer deal with the Arachnids and instead went to go accept their first quests.
"Well… your class is better suited for the quest in the church," Thrasher says pointing to the building in the distance.
Dream Knight can only roll her eyes before she smiles at him. "I'm disbanding this party then, Thrasher… Hope things go well at the auction house."
She walks away turning back every few seconds to make sure Thrasher isn't staring. "It's nice to see what you really look like," She says with a smile as she walks off into the distance.
Thrasher sighs before he looks at the auction house in front of him.
In a few days, this place would be buzzing with activity, with players selling goods, but right now it was quiet as the town.
'Ugh, well, I hope that NPC is still here…'
He walks inside the room and looks at up at the regal trimmings decorating the once shoddy auction house.
"Ugh, guess somethings aren't going to stay the same…"
When he enters into the space, he hears the mutterings of a few NPCs around him. However, he pays this no mind as he walks up to the receptionist sitting at the counter.
"Ah, hold on…" she says waving off a few NPC warriors, "One of the players are here… that's why."
Those NPC's turn towards Thrasher and roll their eyes at him.
These NPC's all have distinct personalities to them as opposed to in other games. Since this was the alpha release by Salvation Studious, they put a lot of effort into the programming for the NPCs.
They had their own jobs and stuff like that, but Thrasher wasn't here for them. He just wanted to get his first quest, so he could make it to the Castle Emperors Port before any of the other players…
Regardless, a second later, something small and soft bumps into his leg.

"Oh, sorry dear adventurer didn't see you there!" A little Lolli says as she marches along with her eyes closed.
Corey bends down and rubs her on the head. "It's no problem little duck… However, why are you wondering around with your eyes closed." She looks rather flustered almost as if she is holding her breath.
"Heh… it's because my nose gets better when I'm really focused, and I smell best when I don't see." She is really cute for her size and Corey can't help but laugh as she spins around.
"Ah, I see… Well what does this item look like?"
He bends down and the girl opens her eyes revealing two blue moonlike orbs. "Its golden, and you have it on you mister! You're going to have to come with me!"
She looks somewhat serious and Corey can't help but back up in wonder. "I've only just come here… Don't be like my father and blame me for everything!" Corey responds taken aback by her pointing fingers.
"No! You don't understand! You have… the eight armed core! Silly, come with me little man!"
"But… the quest…" Corey points to the empty line and remembers the days of waiting for hours for a quest. However, the little Lolli, who is actually level 20, pulls him over to a painting on the wall.
"Silly man, this is your chance to accept the hidden quest for the hidden profession, Eight armed Swordsman, I wouldn't turn me down if I were you, or your little sword is going to get it!"
The Lolli humphs before Corey looks down at her. "Ah, a hidden quest! You should've told me little girl! Yes! Eight arms sounds awesome!"
The little girl seems happy with his response and points at the painting. "Yes… however, I'm going to need to keep your sword as payment for it if you lose the challenge. Still, if you win, you'll be able to unlock the spider warrior profession, the eight-armed swordsmen!"
Suddenly, Corey imagines himself with eight arms and gulps thinking about how cool that would be.
"Deal… I have a few more of these swords anyway," he answers as the little Lolli laughs.
"Hehehehe… good, well now that the payment is done… please enter the painting to begin your challenge for the hidden quest… If you can survive, I'll give you your new profession." She taps on the floor a few times before Corey sighs looking at his blade.
'You were so good to me buddy, please stay safe." He hands the blade over to the little girly woman who smiles with the blade in her hand.
"Good luck in there, and don't forget your bamboo stick!"
Corey nods his head before he walks up to the painting.
Hidden quests such as this are exceptionally rare and were hardly ever featured in <
He can only wonder what else they changed since he entered the game.
Regardless, with little holding him back, besides the stare of the little Lolli weirdly petting his sword, he walks into the painting.
"Ding! You've accepted the Quest [Reclaim the Throne of Malacca English]"
"Quest Difficulty E"
With little to no choice he ends up in a room with eight, seven armed swordsman. They immediately rush towards him as Thrasher looks down at his bamboo stick.
"Oh god… this is going to be bad…"
