Kaminari strolled down the tiled ground bathed in waning gold. Hands in the pockets of her hoodie, she looked around her from under the protector. People walked down the street along side with her, some in twos, some in threes and some in fours. There were the scarce anomaly of single loners too.
The dying glow of the lowering reddish-yellow sun spread its vinery arms across the canvas of the sky. Cobbled stone ground shuddered softly under the thunder of the rush of feet. scent of the nearby salty sea roamed in the cold, almost misty air and lingered on her taste buds. She breathed in, inhaling the favourable smell of the city into her nostrils,feeling the calm that washed over her in a wave, and breathed out. A nostalgic smile fluttered possessively to her lips.
The past few days, no, weeks, had been tough on her psyche, leaving g her feeling like a kid who couldn’t find the right direction they were supposed to go in, alone and scared, but this right here, this feeling of belonging and affection for the very city she stood in made all of that go away like a bad dream. Worth swamped her heart as she trailed her gaze at memorable tourist attractions.
Scempirch alder leaves flayed and fluttered in the cool wind that tickled thin and thick branches, its notable feature of long and strong bark,; the real reason for its famous name, barely budged under the feather light touches of the air, standing stock still to the ground with its roots firmly planted into the soil. Many others coloured the otherwise barren land save for the little ridges of grass growing in the sand.
Behind those tress laid evenly spread out building of blight wood and opraazuce hemlock that cast a pallet of different shades of colour. Cursed metal wound around each and every compact compound, separating houses from the underground space between them. Leaves from the opraazuce and blight tress made good use for herbs and spices like ash willowing wunt and ussayenne that widely characterized the town’s unique taste buds. Lately though, the scientist had been trying to find a way to create cures from the sap but no such luck as of yet. Still, hope burned in the town's heart and showed their unwavering full support of their helpfu scientific verntures.
Strolling further down the path, she took notice of the upset sky , heavy grey clouds that hovered low in the sky, a flashing light of thunder stuck in between the condensed vapour that suspiciously bore resemblance to an incoming stormy weather. The occasional lightening reminded her feet to get home quicker. She drew her hoodie down onto her head and hurried on.

Skillfuly avoiding rubbing any body parts against any strangers, she dove in and out of the crowd with the speedy wings of a pergrine falcon. The wind swooshed around her in the wake of her footsteps, dark red hair flying underath the weight of the wind.
She didn’t waste any valuable running away time by looking back, having been spurred on by the fear of getting struck by lightening.
A dog, a pet of an unknown person, ran past her, tongue lolled out of its encaustic mouth, tail coloured light brown wagging in excitement, forgoing the steady pace of its owner. She looked on, amused by the dogs positive burst of energy, and momentarily slowed taken aback by the bark she heard.
Remembering her whereabouts, she resumes her sprint towards the familiar environment of her home that had a bed calling to her with the allure of a sirens song. Pumping her feet behind her back, she contained to take in her passing surroundings. She hardly had enough time to read any signed item before it was passed by with her kicking feet.
She ran quicker.
The sky had other plans at this point though. It happened so suddenly that she at first looked onward towards her close destination with spinning eyes and light head. The lightening struck her, hitting the top of her head in the centre of her tender scalp; its a miracle it wasn’t scarred permanently, violet streaks of light, faintly appearing white against the flash of electrical power, thunder striking the clouds overhead. The world tipped over as it buzzed and sizzled nerves ending in her body
She dropped to the ground in unconscious, mere footsteps away from the blurring world, hard thud if electrically shocked body meeting the floor sideways.
