In the dense Tando Woodlands, the sound of leaves ruffling came as a teenager in tattered clothes ran desperately while not trying to stumble in between.
*roar*
A roar reverberated in the silent surroundings, altering the birds to fly away.
A huge red-colored lion with a horn on its head ran toward the young boy. Its eyes locked onto him as if he were prey.
It increased its speed but was surprisingly still unable to catch up to the young boy who was skillfully maneuvering in the dense forest.
"Damn it! Why is this the first thing I encounter upon my transmigration? At least give me time to analyze the situation." The boy cursed as he jumped on a branch of a tree and began running by jumping on the branches of different trees.
Suddenly, he felt the tremors on the ground coming to a stop. He got curious, and after jumping on a relatively high branch, he looked back at the lion, who was hell-bent on eating him.
The Red colored lion had stopped in its tracks and was looking at the teenage boy with a hateful gaze. It would surely like to kill and eat the human in front of it, but it couldn't go forward.
The youth tilted his head in confusion when it hit him, "Ah! So this is the territory of someone stronger. That's why the lion is hesitant to come here."
The boy heaved a sigh of relief but then thought of something, 'Wait! Suppose this is the territory of someone more powerful. Wouldn't that means I'm basically fucking myself up by coming here?'
The boy looked around as he considered what he should do. He looked in front of him where the lion was resting, its eyes still locked on the young boy.

But something in those eyes irked the youth as he gave a middle finger to the lion and shouted, "Ain't no way you're going to have me as your dinner, big guy. What do you think is going on? Jungle Book adaptation?"
"You can wait all you want; I'm not going in that way." The young boy said as he jumped from the tree and went opposite of the lion, inside the territory of someone stronger.
'Well, at least here is a chance for my survival. I can't fight a lion; he'll eat me alive.' The teenage boy thought as he slowly made his way deep inside the territory. He just wanted a cave so that he could hide there.
'I first need to understand where the heck I am.' The youth thought. 'Judging from that red born growing on that lion's head, I'm assuming it's another world for sure.'
As he was walking, he heard the noise of water falling from a height. His eyes lit up as he hurriedly went towards the source of the noise.
Even while running, he was still trying to make as little noise as possible.
Finally, he reached the source and found a tall waterfall. He smiled as he looked at the small cave on the side of the waterfall.
He had only come to find water, but who knew he would also get a resting place. But he didn't enter the cave yet.
He looked around and simply waited, hiding in the bushes. He was a cautious person, even going to the level of paranoia. His days in the street had taught him many things, and one of them was patience.
He found no one, not a single creature, in the surroundings, so he simply waited. After a few minutes passed, he heard someone approaching the river and got alerted.
He got on guard and looked at the newcomers. He sighed and thought, 'So it's just some deer. That means this area isn't occupied by someone powerful; well, I at least know this whole region is occupied by someone.'
He didn't go out but waited. He wanted to check his guess. Indeed, he was right. In the next hour, many animals came to the river.
The boy smiled and finally went out. He walked towards the small cave and picked up a rock, which was just enough to fill his hands.
He played with the stone in his hand as he approached the cave. When he felt like he was close enough, he raised his hand and threw the stone into the cave.
He bent down a little as he prepared himself to run away. He was hoping that if there were any monsters in there, it would show some moments because of the stone.
He waited, and when nothing happened. He tried it once more, only to get the same results. He relaxed slightly and went inside the small cave. It really was small, but that was what the young boy needed.
He explored the cave one last time, and when he finally found nothing. He relaxed entirely and slumped against the wall on the ground.
He wiped the sweat from his forehead as he said, "Phew! That was something else. I didn't expect to run around the moment I get transmigrated."
The young boy now housed the soul of Raj, who had mysteriously transmigrated in this body.
Raj took a deep breath and went through the jumbled memories he had received from the previous owner of this body.
His name was Jiang Wei, a disciple of the Soaring Eagle Sect. He wasn't trash or a genius as one might expect, but an average Disciple with mediocre talent.
He was living a happy life in the sect with his lover, who was the most beautiful woman of the sect. But one day, that lover said many humiliating things to him and then left the sect.
But that wasn't the cause of his death. Although the previous Jiang Wei was hurt by the actions of his ex-lover, he didn't commit suicide on such things.
He died because he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. His luck was simply bad.
