Synopsis
Note: A few pieces of important information before you read it.
First, the Novel is written in first-perspective present tense. That means it is written as it is happening from the mind of one character. The character is mentally ill, so if things get confusing, read a sentence further and things will make sense. On top of that, I don’t write sentences grammatically correct all the time and I don’t know how to use a comma that well. If that upsets you, don’t read this. You’ll hate it. It’s too poetic for correct grammar. Art is supposed to break the rules. That’s why Quentin Tarantino makes the best movies because fuck the rules. Bear with me, I don't have a degree yet. There’s so many typos and errors but trust me they are there for a reason.
Second, it is full of references. Not because I want to plagiarize. There is no plagiarizing in this Novel. I use the references as metaphors, so people understand what is trying to be portrayed. Also, it gives the audience a relation to the main character. The main character is one that watches a lot of TV and reads a lot of books so it’s just how he thinks it. The whole Novel is one stream of consciousness of himself. It’s how he sees it and hopefully it helps you, the audience, understand the picture I'm trying to paint.
Lastly, chances are you skipped this page anyway. I make fun of myself and the story itself in the Novel a good amount. My name is Paul, so if you see one of the characters say my name or if there are pieces where the writing sounds like it's making fun of itself, it is. It’s a fun gag because these characters can hear each other's thoughts and can travel through dimensions and talk to beings out of their dimension. It’s humorous that way.
Fourthly, I'm just kidding, enjoy the Novel.
