A flaming argument.
Shadows creep about this relic of a cathedral, a man and a woman under shattered light. They shout and pout amongst the nervous rats, their fight is as bright and loud as the sparking flames. They see the smoke and stop their gloat. Panic is on, the fight is gone. Burning lumber bring them to their slumber. Fallen from the sky, oh my! And so this tale of lovers flame dyes the night in light.
May flowers.
A man underneath the drowned sound of pitter patter sits among the gutter trash. His once bright eyes shine no more, for he is lost in his own mind. What went wrong? He asks himself but gets no answer. The pitied looks is all he’s got, for his faith was sealed when the wench kicked him out. How could i’ve been so blinded by beauty, she was pretty like a flower but was venomous like a snake. She left him torn on the streets, he thought as he walked off the edge.
The train to heaven he took this day, for he was poisoned by May.
Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.
New years delight.
Sky’s alight with colours bright and sounds that blow my ears. The new year is here, the new ideas come and go but one thing is for sure there is always a new year. all through the night the fireworks light. Dancing and cheering the people are bright. All hail the new year!
Wonder and ponder, don’t fight and squander.
Here comes the owl, the rat and the snake. All are prey and predator, yet gather here today. For the deer has made a promise, to solve their old fight. He opens a jar and all peek in. There is nothing there they all say. That’s right, nothing is there, now you have something to ponder. Ponder they did and nothing came up, They asked the deer again. How will this solve anything! It already has said deer, you’ve stopped your bickering and started tinkering. The owl, snake and rat all wondered upon the words and left. Clearly the issue had been solved, but they all wondered how.
And so ends this little page of tales. If you liked this do say so in the comments and write what story you liked best. Also if you want me to change the style of writing or have any stories of your own you can share those as well. I wrote these stories to explore a more poem like way of writing and I quite like it. Thank you to whoever reads this :)
i’ll probably add another page of stories some day soon if it’s enjoyed.
