Ryder Gear escapes a threatening situation but is caught by Mine Heart, who saves him from an oncoming truck. Mine demands Ryder return a stolen coin, but Ryder claims he spent it on settling a debt. Mine reveals he is seeking a star vessel and challenges Ryder, who boasts of his "Assembly Line" ability to build anything from blueprints. Ryder proves his skill by reconstructing a pocket watch for Mine and agrees to build the star vessel to clear his debt. Mine then takes Ryder and the others to El Dorado, while two thugs watching the scene decide to withhold information from their boss.
