Soon the royal families arrived at the campus of Dragania. The campus was strictly supervised by guards from independent parties, who rigorously patrolled the grounds and prevented any unwanted guests from outside the school grounds. Since it was also a dire period as most public figures paid their visit, as we informed, it included the royal family, the Vuzgal.
Aside from its impenetrable and formidable security, the landscapes of Dragania were magnificently designed and structured. A statuesque fountain at the campus center, imposing and classy facilities' structures, a limestone splendidly paved pathway, and a collection of masterfully carved Dragania's exemplar statues aligned at the footpath of the entrance. Signifying that it wasn't any ordinary campus that allowed, regardless of status Demonkins to enroll.
As the further, the Vuzgal family advanced.
Even supposing the campus's sceneries were visually captivating, anyone within the parameter of the Vuzgal family seemed to focus on something else, not on those alluring sceneries but rather on them.
However, it was not because of their renowned existence or their royalty status. But because they were surrounded by hundreds of guards, making they the center of attention.
Mina wasn't pleased with the hundred-guard encirclement since she could barely explore anything on campus. Especially when the guards blocked all her plausible fields of vision, and the longer they lingered, the more Mina got upset. To the point she was eventually fed up and complained,
"Mama, Papa, can't we just participate in the orientation as any other ordinary people do? Mina really hates the way these guards are suffocating us. And especially, I cannot see anything around us. Mina really wanted to explore the school grounds!"
"I'm sorry, Mina. As for the royalties, this is the wisest and safest way for us to participate in any events. Given that our life is always at risk. Even one insignificant mistake could lead us into jeopardy." the Queen replied,
"Honestly, Mina... Papa also despises the notion of being crowded like a whim. Since, you know, your papa was considered the most powerful Demonkins that currently existed in Vuzgaria! And this might be just as humiliating to me as to you, Mina." The King unexpectedly concorded with Mina.
"Then why can't Papa just call off the guard?"
Before the King could respond to Mina, the Queen gave the King her sincere disgruntled "ahem". So the King somehow decided to respond in a 180-degree manner,
"Let's just familiarize ourselves to cope with the current situation, okay, Mina? It is part of the tradition of the Vuzgal family, after all. Who knows? I mean, our safety is always the first priority. Given the worst scenario, we might still have a chance to devise an escape plan, keeping everyone safe, right?" The King somehow altered his conviction, leaving Mina in the face of displeasing.
In next to no time, Mina and her parents made it to the assembly of the orientation. Before the entry, the royal guards were instructed to stand guard from the outside, except for Captain Igor and three of his handpicked assistants.
Inside the orientation assembly, the venue was packed with various aristocrats. Some were successful merchants that conquered the chain of businesses, some were well-known celebrities with thousands and thousands of fans, and some were political figures directly employed under the King, his majestic himself.
In the meantime, before the beginning of the ceremony, the gathered nobles will exercise their habitual classy chit-chats. Such as the topics like politics, businesses, celebrities gossip, or flaunting their success. When the Vuzgal family entered the venue, Mina was astonished by the hall that flourished with luxurious ornamentation. The place was also lavishly decorated with fancy adornments, exuding the sensation of pure richness.
The place was so extravagant that peasants could be identified in a blink of an eye. This orientation wasn't like any occasion school orientation but rather like a wealthy gathering. Even the venue was circulated with servants who served luxury beverages and exquisitely prepared cuisines.
And a minute after the royal family's arrival, a bunch of bootlicking nobles would rush to their attention and flatter them solely for future favors like a bunch of dogs who yearned for the treats.
But Mina's parents were already accustomed to those nobility games as they had mundanely dealt with these interactions. They will follow their prescribed ways of dealing with those fawning nobles.
While Mina's parents were handling these bootlicking nobilities, Mina was so bored she began to look around the hall, seeking entertainment. But in return, she found a boy around her age staring at her from across the room. But when Mina shifted her gaze to him, the boy deflected. Because of both Mina's boredom and inquisitiveness, she departed from her parents and casually approached the boy.
Before the boy could react, Mina was already in front of him, face-to-face, inescapable. The boy was timid and introverted, let alone speaking with his own gender was disastrous, but rather said the opposite. Since Mina is more outgoing in her nature, she then initiated the conversation with the boy,
"Hi, I saw you from across the room, and I wonder can we talk for a little while? Since it's pretty boring that all the adults have their own bubble of conversation. And the other kids seem unapproachable as they give a snobby impression... ugh..."
After a long assertion by Mina, she realized she had skipped the crucial step, which was an introduction, and so she did,
"Oh... yeah... by the way, I'm Mina! What's yours?"
The boy was anxious and embarrassed, and his face was beet red, considering this was his first time talking to a female Demonkins besides his relatives. He even struggled with the easiest part of the conversation: introducing himself. Still, Mina was somehow more patient than she usually was, considerately waiting for his response that was.
Eventually, the boy demolished that hesitancy wall of his and uttered in the voice of a mouse,
"My...my...my...name is... Nathan..."
"Hi, Nathan! It is nice to meet you!" right after Nathan uttered, Mina abruptly inserted.
Stolen content warning: this content belongs on Royal Road. Report any occurrences.
Because of Mina's confident and sparkling personality, Nathan was infatuated, leaving him in boiling red. Not long after, Nathan ran off out of bashfulness.
Mina was prickled by Nathan's blunt move and paining her emotionally. However, in order to relent from gloominess, she devised the best possible plan to deal with it, well, the best plan for her at least. And the plan was to chase, him, down.
While Nathan was already a mile away from Mina, given that Mina was genetically superior in athleticism because of her Vuzgal blood, it lent her a speed of a sound. And caught up with Nathan in no time, causing him to be overwrought.
While Nathan was infused with more dread and anxiety as Mina got closer. And Once Mina had established the fitting range between herself and Nathan, she launched herself to him and tackled him to the ground.
Because of Mina's reckless behavior, it had caused a commotion in the hall, and all the guests immediately centered their attention on them. And once Nathan was latched on the floor by Mina, Mina was relieved that she had caught up with him and disregarded the fact that she acted barbaric.
Soon after shifting her gaze to Nathan's face, all she found was a sobbing child, and there Mina rejuvenated to her senses.
She quickly released Nathan, who she threw to the ground. But it was too late for her realization. Nathan was already weeping in tears on account of her monstrous behavior.
Mina quickly lifted Nathan back up to his feet, apologized, and dashed off. Leaving Nathan speechless.
On her way back to her parents, she again caused a ruckus by accidentally crashing into one of the guests. The guest she crashed into was an imposing, muscular and menacing demon. As the demon intimidatingly gazed upon Mina because of her undesirable contact. The imposing demon's menacing look terrified Mina greatly and made her bolt from the situation before he could respond.
Despite his fierce and scary appearance, the demon just wanted to apologize on his behalf, but she had already vanished into the crowd.
After a moment of traversing, she eventually reunited with her parents, who seemed yet to be released from the captive of those cringing nobles. Her abrupt disappearance and return suddenly spurred the attention of a noble.
"Oh? Isn't that princess Mina?" one of the nobles called out,
"Yes, indeed. And she will be attending Dragania start from today." the Queen replied,
"Isn't she adorable? I wish I had a daughter like her!" they giggled,
Once the noble feigned a small talk and giggle with the queen, the noble decided to put on her true color and added,
"And by the way, would your royal highness ever consider endorsing..."
Mina then squinted at the noble with an unamazed look, as she hated how those people wouldn't even consider using her as an excuse for their sole interests.
After a considerable of time of the day had drained, the host of the orientation finally presented himself to the guests and hailed,
"Good morning, everyone! And I'm here to be pleased to welcome you all to our beautiful venue today! And I, Maximillan Genal, will be your humble orientation host for this fine day!"
After the hailed by the host, the attention of everyone instantly centralized on him. Soon after the introduction, the host began his opening speeches, introducing the school's facilities, personnel, schedules, and related subjects.
During the orientating speeches, Mina wasn't paying her attention whatsoever. Instead, she circled her gaze around the crowds, observing them, especially those who were her age. From what she noticed, everyone, even those around her age, was fully fixated on the host except her.
To fit in with the majority, Mina decided to indulge everyone by giving her best part in paying heed to the host.
...
While it only lasted five minutes, Mina was already drowsy and almost fell into slumber. Mainly the speech bored her significantly.
She snapped from the drowsy state and once again circulated her gaze around the guests, and yet everyone remained attentive except her. She then contemplated,
*How come everyone is able to enjoy such a boring thing? Mina doesn't seem to enjoy it at all. Unless... Mina is a weirdo?!*
After doubting being a misfit, Mina returned to her careless state and fiddled with her fingers to spend the time.

Upon halfway through the orientation speeches,
"Now, I would like to welcome the president of Dragania to present his speeches..."
As the host was about to invite the president of Dragania to resume the orientation, out of nowhere, Mina's bladder decided to rebel. Causing Mina to be at the edge of answering the call of nature. So Mina reached out to her mother and whispered out of embarrassment,
"Mama, I want to pee..."
"What now, Mina? But we are in the middle of the speeches. Can't Mina just hold it a little bit longer?"
"Mama, I can't... Mina really want to pee now..."
The Queen sighed deeply with disappointment and had no choice but to comply with Mina's request by sending her to the closest lavatory. She then assigned an accompaniment to Mina, one of the royal guards.
When Mina stepped out of the hall, she was amazed by the massive campus ground. The campus was mazeful to Mina, mainly its vast grounds and seemingly limitless pathways.
On their journey to the lavatory, Mina cheerfully walked by the guard as she absorbed every tiny detail of the campus. Since Mina missed out on everything during her entry.
"Hey, Gregaron..." Mina joyfully called out her bodyguard, the royal guard who sent out to accompany her.
"Yes, your royal highness, Princess Mina? How can I humbly be your assistant?" the guard solemnly replied. But Mina wasn't thrilled with his sedated response.
"You know you have no reason to be this stiff, right?"
"Apologies, your royal highness, and how would you like this one to act on his behalf?"
"Just..." Mina paused for a second of contemplation and added,
"Act normally?"
"As you wished, your royal highness, but this one had zero regards on what is the definition of acting normal."
"How can Gregaron doesn't even know such simple bidding? Are you pulling Mina's leg right now?" Mina wasn't pleased with Gregaron's answer. And soon Gregaron realized Mina's frustration, he rushed to his knee, sealed his head to the floor, and repented,
"Apologies, your royal highness, this one has falsely discerned your desire. Please may your royal highness sentence this ungrateful lowlife to any retributions!" Gregaron's speech and actions gravely shocked Mina.
"Gregaron! What are you doing?! Please, I didn't it mean like that! Please, Just lift your head!"
"As a disgrace to your royal highness, Princess Mina. This one will not lift its head until the retribution is bestowed!"
Mina speechlessly squinted at Gregaron and sighed deeply.
"Then, Gregaron look at me..." Mina approached ahead of Gregaron, but Gregaron defiantly stated,
"No, your royal highness! Not until..." before Gregaron could finalize his words, Mina interrupted,
"I said look at me!"
Thanks to Mina's exasperated demand, Gregaron without hesitation and tilted up his head and stared right into Mina's gaze. Instead of seeing a furious, menacing princess, he perceived nothing but a gorgeous, adorable princess.
Gregaron was always unrecognized by many due to his average existence and always outshined by everyone on the list of royal guards, even maids and rookies are more recognizable than him. So he never grasped the opportunity to mingle with Mina, let alone to see her face attentively.
Because of that, he was astounded by Mina's face and left solidified, given that he had never actually paid heed to Mina's face since she was brought to this life.
And when Gregaron was out of his awareness, Mina gently placed her palms before his helmet and slowly lifted it up.
"Since I had never seen your face before, Gregaron! So, as for your punishment! It will be... your... FACE REVEAL!"
Soon after Mina asserted her words, she popped Gregaron's helmet off his skull, leaving Gregaron's face in plain view.
But little did Mina know...
She just ruined Gregaron's life to the full extent by actualizing and heightening the penance for him...
"Huh...?" was Gregaron's last word before the calamity had befallen him.
*According to the legislation of the Vuzgaria royal guard, all royal guards' identities must permanently remain confidential until withdrawal is made. Otherwise, individuals violating indicated laws will suffer banishment for at least one to three (demon) years, with an increment of permanent royal guard status revocation.*
