This is the story that I feel my 18-year-old self both needed and deserved. The following is fictitious. Plain and simple. Many characters and events were inspired by actual people and events. Some pieces are more accurate than others, but the story should be viewed as just a story. I’m not really writing this for anyone other than myself. Doing this was very therapeutic and provided a sense of closure by rewriting my narrative. There are definitely triggers throughout this story.
