Chapter 2

What the heck? Were the first words Hawks thought as head stood there covered in blood and bits of brain. He wasn't particularly disgusted by the fact someones head had exploded right in front of him, the commission had numbed down any emotion in him at 5 - he was more confused over the fact that this mans head just exploded from nothing, he didn't see anything on him nor inside him he just, exploded.

...

The heroes Hawks, Endeavour, Best Jeanist, Edgeshot and Mirko all sat down at the long table it the bland meeting room - they were all having a meeting of the recent events with the intelligent detective: Naomasa Tsukauchi. The doors of the meeting room slowly opened as Naomasa walked in, he had tired eyes that could rival Aizawas and messy black hair. He set down a thick stack of paper at and silently sat down and sighed.

"I would sugar coat it but we have no idea what's happening" He said in a low tired voice "10 other deaths happened during the crime scene with Hawks and Endeavour" Everyone shuffled in their seats, shocked by the intense numbers.

Hawks:

TEN! Seriously? The police force was only gone for an hour and ten consecutive deaths happened in that small period of time. I fidgeted my hands as I thought about the crime scene I was at earlier and the death that happened right in front of me. I could barely listen to the meeting as my mind buzzed with the images of blood and flesh that was on my body. Seriously, why am I so affected by it?!

As the meeting reached its end I headed out the building whilst the other heroes stayed back to ask questions. Spreading my great red wings I was about to leave the ground when-

"ARRGHH"

As the scream reached my ears I swiftly turned down the alleyway right behind me. I couldn't let another innocent person die again because of my ignorance. Must. Go. Faster. There, at the end of the alleyway the silhouette of a person bleeding out. I was so close.

THUD. The persons body fell to the ground, this time the spot where his heart was meant to be was an empty hole. Another innocent person dead. I fall to my knees, what kind of hero lets the people they're protecting die? My fingers travelled to the bare skin on my neck as I itched it over and over again until I drew blood. It was a bad way to calm myself but the pain always stopped the bad thoughts. But it could not remove the death I couldn't stop.
