It's been four days since Konoha lost the First Division's Base that was captured by the Sand village. In these four days, both of the villages deployed their Kage tier Shinobi on each of the battlefields.
Danzo refused to take part in the war, saying that he and the Root is essential for the protection of the village. The Hokage had no choice but to leave the village in Hayate's hands, telling him to keep an eye on Danzo. Since Hayate was stronger than Danzo, not to mention that Hayate excels in assassination, Danzo wasn't able to make any obvious moves.
The Leaf's Headquarters wasn't on any of the battlefields, it was at a good distance from the battlefields. It was under Shikado's control. He was the one giving orders for rescue teams and managing the supplies.
First Division- Chiyo and Ebizō Vs Hiruzen Sarutobi.
The Leaf has already declared the First battlefield a lost cause. The only reason Hiruzen appeared was to pressure Chiyo and Ebizō from interfering with the other battlefields. The Leaf also deployed a lot of Water Release users to suppress Pakura from running around, which annoyed the latter a lot.
Pakura wanted to change the battlefield but was denied by both the Kazekage and Mikasa. The Kazekage's reason was simple, if she ran around too much, the Leaf will send people to deal with her specifically. As for Mikasa's reason, all she said was that the other two battlefields will be chaotic soon.
Second Division- The Third Kazekage Vs Shiba Tatsuya.
Nothing much happened on the Second battlefield. The Kazekage secretly brought Bunpuku, the current Jinchuriki of Shukaku, to the battlefield, he planned to use it as a surprise attack when the time came. Although he hid it well, how can it escape from Tatsuya's Natural perception? But he decided not to report it to the Leaf, it won't be fun if there are no surprises.
Since the Second Division was in the middle of both battlefields, it also served as the Medical team's main base. The rescue teams will bring back injured people now and then. But Tatsuya wasn't bothered by this because Tsunade was here to do all the Medical work. Hikari was also here, disguised as a Kunoichi from Konoha who died on the First battlefield. But she still kept a very low profile. All the work that Tatsuya was supposed to do as the Commander was done by Hikari.
Tatsuya also teleported Tsunade now and then. Since the Sand village was good at using poison, Tsunade's value on all of the battlefields skyrocketed. Although Tatsuya was a Medical ninja, he wasn't allowed to leave the position of the Second Division's Commander for a long time.
Third Division- Hiyo and Aaori Vs Hatake Sakumo.
The moment Sakumo heard that Hiyo and Aaori were deployed on the Third battlefield, he decided to take charge of the Third Division. Although he was angry, he wasn't stupid enough to charge straight inside the Sand's base. Hiyo and Aaori both used puppets and poison to fight. Hiyo used an offensive puppet while Aaori used a defensive puppet. Their teamwork made it difficult for Sakumo to kill them when he fought them the first time. So all he could do now was make sure that they won't make a move.
Sakumo was sitting in his tent, reading the reports from the Third Division. Although the battle was going fine, the Leaf wasn't able to gain any sort of advantage. Sakumo was confident that he could kill Hiyo and Aaori, but he'll need some time. He had already requested backup from the Headquarters.
"Sakumo-sensei, what's with the long face?" Mikasa said as she appeared out of nowhere. Her target was to kill as many people as possible before Shukaku appears. More than 800 people have died from her explosive tags since the war began. The number was gradually decreasing so she decided to take action. The Third battlefield was perfect for a massacre.
"Weren't you supposed to be with Tatsuya on the Second Battlefield?" Sakumo asked with a serious face.
"You were the one who requested backup. Since I am free until Shukaku arrives, I decided to drop by. I have permission so don't worry." Mikasa said while rolling her eyes.
"Oh. My bad." Sakumo said as he nodded.
"How many people does the Sand's base have?" Mikasa asked what she was interested in.
"Around 700. The rest of them are on the battlefield." Sakumo replied.
"Perfect. So what's the plan?" Mikasa asked.
"We'll take over the Sand's Base. Can you teleport a full team there?" Sakumo asked.
"Sure. Just tell them to be in physical contact with each other." Mikasa replied.
"I will fight Hiyo and Aaori while you deal with the rest of the Sand's Shinobi. After we're done, you'll teleport the team to clean up the remaining guys." Sakumo said before he got up and left.
"Do we need to secure their supplies?" Mikasa asked.
"There's no need for that." Sakumo said. The Leaf has more than enough supplies for a war like this.
'So it means I can destroy the whole base. 700 should be enough.' Mikasa thought as she smiled. She could feel that her Sharingan only needs one big push to evolve.
For her, killing Hiyo and Aaori would be a piece of cake. With her teleportation ability, she is the fastest Shinobi alive right now. Although her teleportation range is only 100 metres, it's more than enough to fight. The people who can survive against her speed can be counted on one hand. The only reason she can't beat Tatsuya is that he can sense where she is about to teleport. Not to mention she isn't someone who fights one on one that much, her forte is destroying things on a large scale.
It took Mikasa three days to reach the Sand's Base. The only reason it took her so long was that she decided to kill some people along the way. She killed around 100 shinobi from each side on the Third Battlefield.
"I wonder if I should just destroy that base alone." Mikasa said as she looked at the Sand's Base on the Third Battlefield.
She sensed that Sakumo's intel was wrong, there were more than 800 Shinobi inside this base, which was a pleasant surprise. Mikasa brought Sakumo along as they prepared for the attack.
"Sakumo-sensei, it won't be a problem if there's no base for us to capture later right?" Mikasa asked with a smile.
"That's no problem." Since they were going to destroy the base anyway, it doesn't matter if Mikasa does it first.
Unlike Tatsuya, who only had Kirin for mass destruction, Mikasa has a ton of Jutsus that can cause the enemy everlasting despair. Although they aren't of much use in a one on one fight against a Kage, it's still fun destroying stuff.
Even without explosive tags, Mikasa is more than enough to destroy a base like this.
"Sakumo-sensei, lead Hiyo and Aaori away, at least 10 kilometres away." Mikasa said as she activated her Sharingan.
"Just what are you about to do?" Sakumo asked, he was having a bad feeling about this.
'Ninja Art Creation Rebirth — Strength of a Hundred Technique'
Mikasa didn't answer Sakumo. Her hair turned white as red lines appeared on the left side of her body. The trick she was about to do will require a lot of chakra. Even if she can manage it once, she doesn't like the feeling of draining her chakra reserves.
'Shadow Clone Jutsu'
Mikasa thought as she created seven Shadow Clones. All the clones left except for one. They divided into teams of two and covered the Sand's Base from each side.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Even her clones can use short-range teleportation, but the amount of chakra required is a bit more than usual.
"Let's show them the strongest Fire Release ever." Mikasa said as she disappeared along with her clone.
Sakumo understood that she was about to do something crazy but didn't say anything and soon, he disappeared as well.
After half an hour, every clone was in position as Mikasa and Sakumo appeared in front of the Sand's Base.
While Mikasa was standing at the back, Sakumo directly charged at the base. Not long after, Hiyo and Aaori appeared. Sakumo was leading them away from the base. Although they knew what he was doing, they were confident that the base won't be in any danger when they were gone. They also brought three Jonin with them. The last order they gave was for everyone to be in defensive formation.
Mikasa watched as Sakumo, along with the five Shinobi from Sand, disappeared. Each pair of her clones were about 30 meters away from the Sand's Base in each direction.
BOOM*
Four explosions came from each direction around the Sand's Base as all of Mikasa's clones punched the ground.
The Sand's Base was already in a bad shape as all the Shinobi came out and looked around. Although the damage was great, not many people died since they were already alerted because of Sakumo's attack.
Everyone noticed Mikasa and her clones in all directions, they were on high alert. But alas, the moment the clones took their positions, the base was already doomed.
"Although I can only exert half of this Jutsu's power without Tatsuya, it should be more than enough to deal with this." Mikasa said as she smiled. She was looking forward to the results.
Mikasa formed the Seal of Confrontation with her right hand while her clone did it with its left hand. A similar scene was happening in each direction.
'Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation'
A literal sea of Blue Flames came out of Mikasa's mouth as it charged towards the Sand's base. One clone in each direction followed her lead as the Sand's Base was now covered with Blue Flames charging at them from all directions. The Blue Flame is thanks to the Natural energy added to the Jutsu while kneading the chakra for it. These flames are way hotter than normal Flame Release.
Everyone who looked at it was almost losing hope, but Mikasa wasn't done yet.
'Wind Release: Great Breakthrough'
The remaining clones used her strongest Wind Release to enhance the Great Fire Annihilation. The Sea of Blue flames was doubled in size as its firepower almost tripled. If it were to be compared to Madara's Great Fire Annihilation, it'll be double that size with firepower many times greater.
Wind Release not only enhanced the firepower but the range as well. Without it, her Great Fire Annihilation would only cover around 100 meters with the help of Natural energy. But now, it can cover the whole Sand's Base without a problem.
Not long after, every inch of Sand's Base was covered in flames. All of the Sand's Shinobi were trying their best to defend themselves. All the Jonin were able to survive with only some injuries while the Chunin were heavily injured. As for the Genin, they were all dead, burned alive.
But the Jutsu wasn't something this simple, the real technique only began when all the four Sea of Flames meet at the centre. If someone wants to stop it, all they have to do is disturb any one of the coming attacks.
"Combination Technique: Hellfire." Mikasa said as she saw that all the four attacks were about to meet before she teleported to Sakumo's location. No one noticed her appear next to Sakumo because the moment she appeared
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
An explosion so big happened in the Sand's Base on the third battlefield that the shockwaves reached both the Second and the First Battlefields. If it wasn't for the cloud of smoke at a great distance, everyone on those battlefields would've thought that it was an earthquake.
Sakumo and the Sand's Shinobi, who were around 15 kilometres away from the base, were all blown away by several hundred meters from the winds of the explosion. Mikasa was an exception since she used 'Fly' at the right moment.
A crater with a diameter of 8 Kilometres was created where the Sand's Base once stood. The depth of this crater was more than 10 Kilometres.
This was the final result of the 'Combination Technique: Hellfire'. It was created to annihilate everything within a certain area. Mikasa alone could only showcase half of its power without Tatsuya. Her synergy with Tatsuya was better than that with her own clones. On the other hand, Tatsuya can't show more than 30% of the technique alone because his mastery over Flame Release isn't enough. Not to mention he prefers Kirin for this kind of thing.
This explosion was also the signal for the Third Division to charge at full force. But they forgot the moment they heard such a big explosion, even the Sand Shinobi were petrified as they looked at their former base. They knew that they've won the Third Battlefield, which made Konoha's Shinobi cheer in excitement.
'That's strange. I can feel that my eyes are at a level where they can evolve into the Mangekyō. So why isn't it happening? So it needs a strong emotion for it to awaken? Is that it? I wonder if excitement would do' Mikasa thought as she looked around.
Her eyes landed on the petrified Aaori, the perfect target. Mikasa decided to do what she was best at, making people despair.
Everyone including Sakumo was dumbfounded as they looked at the crater behind them.
"Wh-What t-the hell was t-that.?" A Sand Jonin said as he fell to his knees.
'It wasn't even half as powerful as Madara's Shattered Heaven. What's the big deal?' Mikasa thought as she remembered when Madara summoned a damn meteor from who knows where. Mikasa deactivated her Sharingan before she spoke.
"It was a gift from me. Do you like it?" Mikasa said as she looked at the Jonin with interest.
Everyone finally noticed the White-haired girl who was standing next to Sakumo. The smile on her face was the same as that of a child who was looking at a new toy.
Mikasa waved her hand as a Kunai moved towards the Jonin who was on the ground. That guy wasn't even able to register what happened before the Kunai pierced his skull.
"How boring." Mikasa said while shaking her head. It was no fun to break weak-willed people.
Mikasa didn't bother with it any longer, she teleported behind another Jonin and killed him by slitting his throat. Everyone finally snapped out of their daze as they looked at Mikasa in horror. Even Sakumo had some fear in his heart.
Hiyo and Aaori finally took a defensive position against Mikasa. The Human and Crocodile puppet that they were controlling also moved. The crocodile moved near the two, protecting them while the Human puppet took a fighting stance as several small needles appeared in its hand. They were all coated in purple coloured poison. As for the Jonin, he wasn't even able to move anymore.
Mikasa activated her Sharingan as she looked at Hiyo and Aaori before placing her strongest Genjutsu on them. Except for Tatsuya and Hayate, there aren't many people who can resist her Genjutsu. Not to mention that Hiyo and Aaori are only Peak-level Jonin. She guessed that their natural resistance to Genjutsu is related to the Kurama clan.
Not long after, both Hiyo and Aaori fell to their knees before they started rolling on the ground while shouting.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH, NOOOO SASORIIIIII" Aaori shouted in despair while crying. She was scratching her face so hard that it started to bleed. She looked horrible.
"NOOOOO. LET THEM LIVE. PLEASE. IT WAS MY FAULT. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY FAMILY." Hiyo shouted with fear and anxiety clear in his voice. He was also crying just as bad as Aaori.
Thud*
Sakumo unknowingly dropped his sword from his hand, it was the first time he saw something like this.
Mikasa brought her right hand towards her chin as she watched the couple with a smile.
"Mikasa, what did you show them?" Sakumo asked. His voice wasn't as calm as before.
"For Aaori, it's her son getting killed again and again in the most gruesome way possible. As for Hiyo, it's Aaori and his son getting tortured in front of him while he can't even move. Moreover, the situation is his fault." Mikasa explained, the smile on her face was still the same.
Sakumo shivered at the thought of this. Even if they were their enemy, this is too much. As he was about to say something, he saw that blood was dripping from the corner of Mikasa's eyes as the three tomoe in her Sharingan rotated at a high speed.
The pattern in her eyes changed, a three-pointed Shuriken with a curved blade appeared on it along with three curved lines on each side of the Shuriken.
Mikasa who felt this change was naturally very happy. The moment she awakened her Mangekyō, all of the abilities information about its abilities was already inside her head.
"Are you alright?" Sakumo asked in a worried tone. He didn't know about the existence of Mangekyō Sharingan, so he thought that it was a side effect of overusing it.
"I am fine." Mikasa said as she deactivated her Sharingan. Her hair turned black again as she deactivated the Creation Rebirth.
Both Hiyo and Aaori came back to their senses, both of them were pale as they looked at Mikasa with fear. Mikasa unknowingly used a portion of her Mangekyo ability on them while her eyes were evolving.
This was the ability of both of her eyes combined.
Kuebiko. Similar to Tsukuyomi, it'll cast a Genjutsu on the target that'll show them the death of their loved ones countless times until they mentally break. Even with a portion of its power, Hiyo and Aaori we're tortured for 8 hours straight within seconds. But what Mikasa was interested in were the individual abilities of each eye. They were better than what she expected.
Aaori was only a step away from having a mental breakdown. How can a mother bear to see her child getting killed over and over again?
Now that her goal was achieved, Mikasa wasn't in any mood to play with broken toys. She walked toward the last remaining Sand Jonin and placed her hand on his shoulder before he disappeared. She teleported him directly inside the Sand village. Since she did so much work, why hide it?
"Sensei, they are all yours. What are you gonna do with them?" Mikasa said while looking at Hiyo and Aaori.
Hiyo and Aaori were afraid of what was about to happen. They knew why Sakumo was hunting them. And honestly, they couldn't blame him even if he killed them. The poison they used on his wife was made for him, Aaori even regretted getting a civilian involved in this. They weren't aware of the fact that Sakumo's wife was healed by Mikasa. But even if they said it now, will it make a difference? But even so, they had their pride as Sand Shinobi. They'll never beg for mercy.
"Let them go." Sakumo said with a sigh.
"That'll be considered a betrayal to the Leaf." Mikasa said with a smile. She never expected Sakumo to have a soft spot for his enemies.
"We'll take them hostage. They have more value alive than dead." Sakumo said while shaking his head. He almost pitied them for what Mikasa did to them just now.
"Whatever." Mikasa shrugged before teleporting everyone to the Third Division's base. She would've liked to torture Hiyo and Aaori more but they were already about to break, which made her a bit disappointed.
