The most likely opponent you will face on the field of battle is those of Roclycia. Clad in white Grastal armor and trained since birth to be the most proficient soldier the world has ever seen. It is without debate that Roclycia is the dominant power on Verden. Their armies number far exceed every other countries armies put together and doubled. Their technology is a combination of simplicity and modularity. Everyone in Roclycia is part of the military in some regard or another. And all share the same goal. Unification.
So you might be asking yourself. "If they are such a formidable force, why should I have to go fight them?"
Well I'm glad you asked that. The short response is that you get paid a lot to, and are expendable.
The long answer is that it has become common practice by other countries to hire Ekoggian mercenary companies to place in front of the Roclycian war machine to slow its march, and hopefully ware them down from killing so many Mercenaries. Giving the defending side a chance to halt the Roclycian expansion.
A grim fate but it can be avoid if you know what to do and how to avoid certain mistakes that other Mercenaries before you have made.
Lets start with something simple but very important to remember. Grastal. Is. Tank. Armor. Anything other than a 28 Hybrid round will shatter on their armor.
Roclyians armor is similar to Ekoggian where instead of the soldier being incased in a suit of armor or hardcases. Heavy platting is strapped to an individuals body freeing up the limbs to have more range of motion. This method provides less protection, but far more dexterity and speed.
So unless you're willing to pay thousands in Hybrid rounds its probably best to try shooting at the exposed sections. Those being the arms, sides, legs, and neck. Do be aware that simply shooting a Roclycian will in most cases not be enough to stop them. Your best option is to go for the throat shot. As that should kill them. Alternatively if you have a high enough caliber Frast, or Standard round you could attempt to shoot them through the orange visor, which is the weakest point in the armor.
Getting into a concealed position is absolutely vital to get these kinds of shots. Attempting to confront Roclycians head on will result in heavy casualties. Their armor is mostly front facing and will make it difficult to get a clear shot.
If you manage to get a shot off you must leave the area immediately, even if you think you and your company got all of them, more will come. And have no delusion that you'll be able to take any territory back.

Roclycians do not retreat, and will never give up land one of their own has died on. Any place a Roclycian dies is already lost. Your job is to minimize that lose.
The next piece advice is to understand Roclycian war doctrine.
Despite their intimidating proficiency in warfare Roclycia does not glorify war. They have many regulation put into place that minimize death rates on both sides, even if that sound counter productive to their goals. One of these being that a Roclycian medic will treat both their own wounded and those they just shot.
After receiving first aid the injured party is than free to leave at no cost. Or at least that's what they say they'll do. Few ever take the Roclycians up on that offer, this is mostly due to the their practice of memory erasing.
If you've ever traveled in the Drylands you might have encounter a Drylen before. Drylens were people who had their memories erased and now spend their lives outside of the Roclycian cities, with no idea who they were. This is the price of being captured by Roclycia. And no amount of money or bribery will save you from that fate.
While a horrible fate there is one way to avoid it. Commonly called the Escape Route, Roclyians always give their opponents a way out. They never fully enclose on an enemy, rather they wish to fight head on.
Now you are always free to retreat, but know that your employer will not be happy with that and might turn their guns on you. If you do choose to retreat you must not return fire afterwards as the Roclycians will not accept a second retreat.
While Roclycia war doctrine might seem strange and backwards to us its important to know that we have our own to that dictate what we can and can't do while fighting Roclycia.
The first one is no looting. While it is very common practice to scavenge gear from fallen opponents Roclycians to not take kindly to that action at all. Never ever take Roclycian armor. While the exact reason is unknown Roclycians will hunt down people who take armor even if they are on the opposite side of the Eastern Mattleplate.
Second you must never shoot at their medics. Now in most cases it would be very beneficial to take out an opponents medics, it will not be good to shoot at a Roclycian medic. They care the preservation of life very seriously and will not tolerate someone trying to prevent them from saving a life.
Medics can be easily distinguished by their teal coloring and the medicine band on both of their arms.
Third you can't attack Drylens. Drylens are and are not considered "Roclycians" They fall under their protection but are not permitted into the cities to become full Roclycian.
Coloring and Hierarchy
Just anther way that makes Roclycians different is that they have no true hierarchy in their military. A single infantry man has just as much say where he fights and when as a general. Roclycians are free to choose how they were fight and what they will priorities. That is not to say they are unorganized far from it. While they have no established leaders their are those among them who earn enough respect from their fellow Roclycians that they would be willing to follow their orders.
The colors define a Roclyians role in the military, the four known colors are, Red, Blue, Green, Tan, and Teal.
Red are infantry, basic ground troops that excel as chock troops. Quickly overrunning postions.
Blue are Glighter piolots, flying miles above the battle in fast and agile Archfield machines.
Green are their artilerists
Tan are their engineers and gunners.
Teal are medics.
