Once the Golems used to reign, great massive white like stars creatures, and as strong as the earth itself, and Long as Dragons, with their legs made of tree logs, with plates like scales all along their bodies, horns made of dark bone, known as the ancient ivories, but now a catastrophe had occurred.
What once seemed like a huge forest where every knew creature lived, now seems as a desertic paradise, as if life had abandoned that place. A great horde of our Golems were now crossing this dry land.
‘’Its been a long, rough road, how long will take us till our time is come…my proud as their leader, no, my owe to them as my family’’
The golem behind her, not as far like the rest, but close enough for a guardian to be hurried up his steps to get closer at her side
—Miss Vélia? Is something bothering you?
—Yustem…be honest, did I have failed you?
—No way Miss Vélia, there’s no possible way for you to do that, why are those thoughts coming at the mind of our lady?
—If I’m honest, I don’t see any last of hope for us to find any salvation, we’ve been walking years and there’s no signal we can reach any source no keep us alive…
As is usual to think, golems are made of some stone material this made them of course really though against hard conditions, but due to their log legs, what they were not able no afford is the lack of hydration, this was an important characteristic for their specie, its great bodies were such a container, now in this land of desert, where no watery bodies remains, the reserves of humidity to keep them on moving are reaching the end. It seems that at least for now, they are having their last breaths of life, for this reason Vélia proposed go in the reach of any last water trail, as it was supposed none leave her alone, and that were the beginning of their journey for survival.
But that had started so many years ago with no results…
—Miss Vélia nothing of this was your fault, and I have to say that you have done anything at your disposal.
—Yustem— Vélia started staring at the floor— have you ever thought on the reasons for golems to live on the shore of high hills? It is because we work as boundaries between races, we protect them and avoid riots for territory, the ran of us, when the habitants left so did the low lighters, and with no low lighter there’s nothing to make nature to grow.
—That’s not something out of your control, they took that choice, to liberate their fights far away due to fear to us.
—And that was something I could predict, but I did not, disposed to hold on our original labor, I had no brave enough to push us to stay alive, not surviving, that was my mistake and is leading us to our miserable end.
—After all Miss Vélia, you broke the guides imposed by the Demiurges to maintain our freedom.
—You really got me in a high spot, Yustem, but reality is hitting us right now.
The face of Vélia showed a very ashamed look, her steps were slowing till she finally stopped with trembling eyes, showing weakness was not something permissible for a leader, bet she did not feel like one anymore, in her mind, she was not a dependable leader to place trusting in.
‘’Listen you all!!’’
Even if in her mind she was unworthy leader, the golem still had that impression for her, she steeled himself to speak as a true Lady.
Thousands of Golems in front of her raised their heads within tired semblants and shining eyes, having the thought that, o well Miss Vélia had found a solution, or this was the time to abandon any stray of hope, whichever were the case they will take this with the proud for which they were know.
Yustem at her side, couldn’t predict the situation that has begun, he also stares at the horde, he was a guardian, for this reason he also adopted the most upright and proud pose he could do, and await in silence for Miss Vélia’s decree

In her disappointment Vélia thought that more false hope had no sense, for the loyalty she had to be honest to them.
—I cannot lie to you all anymore, I find no last of any hope for us, our end is finally coming, and I’ve failed you…—the eyes of Vélia started shining and a tear rolled down her face, it was a self-disappointment face— I am so sorry from the deep of my body for being the cause for us to die in this horrible place…an arid land and dry that is not worthy of you, in a fit to believe that I could bring us back the life once we had, maybe destiny itself have punished me for take us for abandoning the demiurges will, I hope you can forgive me some day, I’m sorry.
A thumping quantity of voices started roaring, what they yell was anything bad, they knew the effort that their lady was not something to me ashamed for, they just could not allow their leader to have such thoughts of failure, and they did in signal of proud in the last moments of their life a final roar.
‘’ARHOOOOOOOOO!!!’’
Overwhelmed for the strong resonance of such growl, she knew she could not set anything as done yet, there was still a last thing to do, her last card to play.
Vélia Evors, Ivory queen, in an act of despair trying to ensure the survival of her people heard a voice her insides
‘’Get up, come to your senses!!‘’
And started crying…
‘’KROAHHHHH!!!’’
Not just in a lament for her own fall, but as she said, it was her last card to play, for the lost she had, this suffering was enough to make that crying strong as a tsunami, her body began to crack, her eyes hurt her, the water overflow through them, and suddenly a mighty lament flood all visible in the distance.
The earth shudders, not like an earthquake, it was…something different, if you were the close enough you could feel as if your soul were taken off out your body, of course this sensation took by surprise all the golems which moments before had set all for done, now, is this a last stray of hope that seems to appear of nowhere? What is this feeling? None felt anything like this before, is this how those called miracles look like?
The miracles known as the true deals with the devil for this world, a gift in exchange of that for which you could not allow yourself to keep existing, they never had testified such a phenomenon
The Vélia’s size was increasing along the time, she was Cleary giving all in that last will, the cracks that were extending along her body started to crumble little parts of her body, now her white body seemed blacked due to the quantity of liquid filling her body, her face was in complete suffering, but having a minimal chance to save her people mitigated the pain.
The sky seems to be shaking as well, doesn’t fear that powerful sensation, it was shaking of condolence for this entity known as the Ivory queen, bright sparks were spreading everywhere, it was the first time that a Golem cried…
Down their legs the water is still flooding the place, their bodies couldn’t see more lucid, as if a torrent of life ran inside their bodies, faces more resplendent as the ocean itself, her last bet had triumphed.
Faces of victory and joy were put in any golem, now the growls were for victory, it was for far a miracle, the desire of Vélia had to be truly to make this possible, just like an instinct for survive in an animal. Despite the joy, they all knew what this meant, they will lose Vélia, her leader, the one who refuse the lineaments of Demiurges to reach the survival of her people, just to gave up her life, and recover the faith to hold on their last times and open an opportunity to existence.
‘’I owe you all for trusting me until the end…’’
A pacific grin grown along the cracked face of the golem, now she can leave this world peacefully…
But just moments after it seemed that the golems were experiencing something…strange, they were crumbling, like when you wet too much a clay sculpture, their tails began to melt with the water that filled the near, and also their bodies….Vélia couldn´t believe what was happening, after her people were enjoying again of lucidity of life, now…
‘’they are dying…’’
It was now like something were filling them over their capacities…she was in complete panic, and slowly that smile turned into a grimace of misunderstanding, what else could she feel? She was already in her last sight, there was nothing else she could do but behold that atrocity.
Between the noise of the growling of despair, the golems were of course, fighting for their lives in a useless try… they had no chance, it’s already too late, their bodies were melting more and more with the tears of their Queen, in their eyes, nothing else but fear and resignation, those were the more logical reactions. All of her scalps felt one by one…as if where made of plastic and you were putting them into fire, their legs clung to the ground and they let their bodies to melt down with the tear’s sea, until they finally disappeared
And Vélia, the proud Lady Ivory accepted defeat once more, and a sweet wicked voice whispered while her body was evaporating of this world…
‘’Get Down, is gonna be soon’’
That was a story of the past…
—You think that those stories were real, Jane?
—The Golem and the miracles?
—Yeah, I am afraid to even say that I could try but you know, I don't want to die yet, but doesn't seem familiar how the people are diseapearing reciently? since that woman...
—My dear James...I'm not sure, but don't you think it could be interesting if...
—If what?
—Shall we go again to the woods on Clive to see if that woman is still there?
—Agh...Jane...if you go...well, I'm in.
—Is not sure that She will appear again but, have we something else to do?
—I guess we can try, let's do it then.
