Luna

Luna

As she escaped, she could hear all the commotion going on behind her. After all, the beloved princess of Flawdah had her wedding scheduled to occur in the next 2 weeks but here she is attempting to escape the kingdom entirely, leaving behind her home and everything she was familiar with.

The forest was her best bet for escape, losing the guards in the thicket of trees and vines would give her plenty of time to make it out of Flawdah. The footsteps of her pursuers quickly get drowned out as the nearby crowd grows louder and louder, prompting her to look back towards the town.

Loyal citizens start to pour from the crowd and start to harass and block off the guards.

“That’s Princess Luna!” “Why are you chasing our princess?” “Get the hell away from her!” More and more citizens start to gang up on the guards. Thankfully being royalty has some benefits.

She starts to slow down for a brief moment as she tries to gather her thoughts. The biggest of the three guards starts to shove his way through, anger showing on his face.

“DON’T YOU RECOGNIZE THE ROYAL GUARD WHEN YOU SEE THEM?!” The guards break through the crowd by force and resume the chase. Breaking into a sprint, the princess starts to head into the forest but feels smoke begin to lightly blow through her nose, knowing her body is reaching its physical limit, she formulates a plan with the hope of escape.

The guards make it to the entrance of the forest, wordlessly breaking off from each other to cover as much ground as possible. Bach runs as deep into the forest as he can knowing this is his domain. After reaching a clearing he puts his hand on the ground, scattering vines around the surrounding forestry, scanning for his target.

Stolen story; please report.

His Meld allows him to sense the area through his vines that he manipulates and pinpoint his target's location. Laughing as he starts to run to his target.

“Found you!” booms through the forest startling the nearby animals. The princess looks around hurriedly to find her assailant. Suddenly a vine wraps around her ankle, yanking her to the ground and dragging her through the dirt.

Back in the clearing the two other guards meet back up with Bach and the now restrained princess. All three laugh as she lays on the ground watching as her week-long escape and hopes of freedom slowly fade away, desperation fills her veins. She looks at the guards as they celebrate their victory and begins to pound the ground in frustration.

“We’re gonna be laughing straight to the bank with this capture boys!” Bach manipulates the vines to wrap around both of her ankles. “What do you mean by that?” She snaps as she looks him in the eyes, exhaustion be damned she needed to know. “What, is my father paying you extra for my capture? I’ll double it if you let me go.”

The guard laughed, brushing off her question. “You wouldn't be able to give us even a fraction of what we will get for bringing you back Princess. Now could you just stop resisting and make this easier for us, please?”

“Fellas fellas, let's not be so quick to turn down money eh?” The four all look to see who’s voice just interrupted their conversation.

“Sir, you shouldn’t be here. You have no business interfering with the royal guard,”said Bach. The intruder slowly trots past him, one piercing gold eye casting a look of disdain to the guards.

“Sounds like some bullshit.” The man stops, taking in his surroundings, the wind catches his messy black hair as he looks around, examining the situation.
