Ryan was just waking up from his amazing dream, because Alyx, his sister that was older than him by a few minutes, woke him up telling him breakfast was ready. He was about to scream ok back but he remembered his voice was sore from yelling at thieves the whole day yesterday. He came out of his large room and ate the soup she made every morning, which tasted amazing. After he finished his breakfast, he put on his armor and went outside.

   As soon as he went outside, he saw five people walk in. Stryker, Caleb, Aidan, Kierra, and Kloey. Stryker was dating Alyx, Caleb was dating Kierra, and Aidan was dating Kloey. Stryker was a medium sized hair brunette. We had been friends since we were kids. He was younger than me, and from time to time I gave him lessons on how to use a sword. Caled, a dirty blonde, was good with bows. The arrows he shot were twice as good as any archer in the guard. Aidan, a blonde who had came to the villiage before Caleb and Stryker, was the defensive one in their small group. One time he saw Kloey getting beaten up and the person doing the damage, well, he dislocated a couple of bones the same day. That was the day he and she got together. Kierra, Kloey and Alyx were the support. Always healing the boys. Ryan was a lone wolf. He was always without his pack. He wasn't powerful, but He also wasn't weak. He was the top guard in the king's royal guard.  After six years in the guard, he left and went on his own

   The five went inside saying hi to him, and He said hello back. Who knows what they do. They've been together for years. Heck, they are so open with eachother they could be family, and they acted like they were. 

   Ryan looked around and said "today is a new day." And went to do his daily routines. 

   He first went to the marketplace to see if there were any thieves around. He turned the corner to see a man yelling at a girl he'd seen around. He walked over to say "what seems to be the problem?"

   The man replied "this thief stole a few things from me!"

   The man walked away from her. Ryan walked toward her and asked "were you actually going to pay him?"

   She didn't reply but nodded instead. He was thought maybe she was shy and didn't talk much. Maybe that's why he scared her. He said goodbye and left to continue his patrol. He did see her around doing some things while he was patrolling. Things like kissing other girls, or going to a tavern late at night. He heard someone one night scream out the name "Tina" when he saw her one night. That's what he thought her name was, and he was correct. She was gay. 

   Ryan continued his patrol. He went to help some other guards with some heavy lifting and after that he decided to head home.

   He got home and as soon as he walked in he wished he didn't. Alyx was making out with Stryker in Alyx's room with the door wide open. Ryan walked by with his eyes wide open. He was scarred for life. He took off his armor and put his that and his swords back on their stands. He went to go train in the training area in his house.

  Ryan and his sister own one of those rich people houses because of the funds he gets from working as a guard. He and his sister both help pay for the house, because their parents were killed when they were young and Stryker's family took them in. They were grateful, and in return they let them come over to their house to visit at any time.

   As soon as he came out of the room he saw at least five guards standing by the door with his sister talking to them. He went over to say "what's happening?"

   One guard whom he assumed was a low ranking soldier spoke up. "The king requires your attention, Ryan."

   He walked with them. If the king needed him it couldn't be good. He was the best in the royal guard before he left. He said to him that he would only call for him if it was something important.

   Ryan made it to the castle and went to speak with the king. They had a long conversation. In short, There were people coming in the city more often so they were losing food and water. What they wanted him to do was keep it so the guards and him helped the villagers get food for the village.

   It was the end of the day and Ryan was tired. The sun was down. He fell asleep knowing he did a good job protecting this place. Tomorrow is another day.
