Chapter 9 Heavy grooming and the detailing

Chapter 9 Heavy grooming and the detailing

When you own a car you bond with and while you bond with them, cars like a certain amount of detailing and grooming. Just like brushing hair, grooming is important and when they’re dirty, they need groomed. There are two types of interior care; heavy grooming like the vacuuming first and cleaning the seats and carpets when it needs. This also includes dusting the sides, front, back, and shampooing the whole car or wherever dist collects. Heavy cleaning includes using items that can help get dirt and dust in tight places such as the radio, brakes, air vents, dashboard, steering wheel, and everywhere. Detailing in the interior means washing the windows with Windex spray, a squeegee, paper towels and clean damp rags. Often when they are getting carpets cleaned it involves shot vacuuming the dirt and water so it’s clean.

Cleaning makes a car feel better and happy. They also feel silky smooth after a bath and dry off with a towel too. Cars loved to be waxed and when they do get a wax, they feel new, young, and healthy. They also shine better too, so don’t forget that. Cars loved to be waxed and relaxes them during this process. It’s like their deep tissue massage that never hurts.

Waxing, washing, vacuuming, sponge baths, interior cleaning and other detailing are all heavy grooming tactics. Cars enjoy heavy grooming and the more time people put into the work of pampering them, the more they come close to their owners. It’s cars spread their love to their people as part of bonding with them. New cars love a person enough to go that extra mile just to stay with their masters. But old cars love their masters the most that they’d keep running as long as the owners keep up with their repairs they need.

O’Malley has a strange but warm way of thanking Nathan and me when we pamper him or take him out to town with us. When Nathan repairs the maintenance, O’Malley thanks me first and then Nathan. He loves us and we keep him happy with his repairs. O’Malley has gotten used to me so much that he lets me practice my energy healing on him, but I know he likes that the most.

Cars have different types of being taken care of in many different ways and tricks. Some cars love sponge baths so they don’t get too wet, others like a heavy grooming with all the detail cleaning and all, many love a regular grooming, washing, vacuuming, dusting, and Windex in the mirrors and windows.

For example: O’Malley loves sponge baths and a regular grooming. I’ve given him two in the past year but I keep up with the interior work. Sponge baths are gentle and feel elegant to the touch because it’s easy on him rather than getting sprayed by the house water. If I can’t back him out of the carport, then the only alternative is a sponge bath.

Most old cars adore sponge baths because they’re gentle and easy on them. Others differ to disagree because it messes up the paint but some cars enjoy it like a normal bath but many like a normal car wash by the hose, bucket of water and sponge. Just be sure to dry them with a towel and folks can can get the job done with a car wash set too because it works as long as it gets the car dry.

The most easy life-hacks in keeping car seat covers in good condition is hand washing them by hand with detergent in cold water and adding soap or detangling shampoo and brush preferably. As long as you dry them, they won’t shrink but all you will need to clean the carpets and seats are:

*Curling brush for carpet or a normal hairbrush

*spray bottle of regular water and if you want to, you can add essential oil

*hair blow dryer

*music you and your car like together to enjoy listening

What you should do is spray a little bit of water on the seat to test if stains get loose and if you need a booster, try using a stain remover or natural stain fighters. Next take the curling brush and groom into condition, but gently. Next, let it dry out by using the shot-vacuum to mop up the wet areas. Keep grooming with the brush using the gentle motion.

With a regular seat covers, be sure to take them off one by one. Repeat the steps of how to clean them with the soap, cold water, and brush. Leather seat covers need to be cleaned with with a lightly damp rag.

When cleaning the hard to reach places on the dashboard. It’s easy to use a toothbrush or a mustache comb to squeeze through cracks where dirt hides the most. When detailing a car use special cleaning fluids like the products sold at every car part store.

When the weather changes and gets cold, it’s easy to get the vacuum and still groom the inside of the car but bundle up when you have your heart to heart bonding time. Washing it can be tricky but with the right supplies and waterless bath that can help. Waterless bath is a formula in a bottle that you can get at any car part store. It’s concentrated that you mix with water and other things depending on the directions to the size of your vehicle. Consider the type of material you use in cleaning the surface. It’s safe, protects your car, saves time, environment friendly, easy to use, and versatile. It’s a good substitute to use in the colder weather if you get those warmer days in winter. Just be sure you dry the car off with clean towels and rags.

Cars get groggy too

In the winter or cold seasons, old cars tend to get groggy from being out with others from the events that summer and spring had. They start to slow down, get tired more than normal and less prepared to start up to leave the house. At old car clubs, every would like to see old cars to get out in the cold seasons so they can enjoy the sights and sounds of it. Eventually it keeps everyone happy that old cars can still be enjoyed in the cold seasons like winter and fall. They’re not as active in town as they are in the warmer seasons. Other old cars that are originals, enjoy being at home as winter and fall come. It’s very cold, boring, and flat-event empty. They want to stay home and sleep because they have a hard time starting up in every day situations like going to work or to a car meeting or show. However, if they are being driven, they should be driven just to go for a walk so they’re not home alone all the time. They get less groggy when they’re driven every day. For starter of coming into the respect of being driven human beings have a lot of chemicals and frequencies on their bodies that cars grow fond of that makes a human a favorite that a car kikes and gets used to. So cars give a pleasure smell a human will admire a lot to change,

Old cars are better

Long before people were stuffing cars with information of this keyless ignition nonsense, old cars were better at keeping people safe on the road without the technology of back up cameras, keyless ignition, and so forth. These cars were asphalt guardians. They did not need any technology but the heating, cooling, air vent coolers, cruise control, and so much more. Drivers were decent looking and driven. Theses cars had it where people weren’t on their cell phones because it was landline only in a house. The attention was about the road and traffic. Nowadays these cars have been stuffed with technology until they’re smarter than humans. That isn’t good because they can get recalled and something can go wrong and it’s not fair because it can be hard to fix on how hard it is to get in the engine to fix the engine. Other parts if the world have these self driving cars that’re useful but can also be hacked. Not everyone is going to have the money to afford that’s why old cars are easy to fix when people know how to fix them and tougher to damage when people know how to fix them and tougher to damage when they’re being handled. They’re still simple to control when they’re being respectfully driven with care. Old cars are able to understand their drivers and they can see what’s going on with their people when they feel down, grumpy or just missing when you don’t like them, when you do like them. New, newer cars don’t have that ability to cradle the emotion of their driver. They’re just there to comfort the driver’s need, what they’ve gotten lazy about and how smart in technology they are to make life easy.

Most people don’t like that and choose simple cars and I can’t blame them. Simple and basic is better.

There are cars that are most beautiful in character and personality. Machines that prove it all on what they’re like, and how they act and behave in tactics. There are cars in the world that can “breathe”, that can power a whole city, and that are even electric or solar powered. But not everyone is able to afford them.

Old cars are cheaper (1990s-early 2000s and so on) than new cars, like the Lamborghini or Bugatti. They look better than new cars and live up to their names as well as their purpose from luxury to muscle to race purposes.

I’ve seen the new Chevy Malibu cars but they look terrible! I’m not impressed by most of the much newer cars these days because they can be hard to fix and be recalled. When I look at the old Malibu cars like O’Malley, they look like a million dollars. They’re handsome and powerful. Every time a newer Malibu car drives by, O’Malley looks better. And this is me talking on a simple person’s perspective, but I know I love cars, a lot. The saying goes “to every man, his car is the most valued treasure in his eye, that shines upon the smiles of the public” O’Malley is a gem that has everyone breaking their necks trying to get a good look at. Same thing with Ol’ Reliable except that he doesn’t care if they look at him or not. He’s independent.

However old cars driving in town usually shine like new get public attention and are the new gems beholding yesterday of what they looked like before. Each of them have something to say, teach, and show us. It takes is partnership and time to discover the stories behind the wheel.

Old Cars and the human workforce

Old cars like classic cars help humans in a lot of things. How? Let me tell you how. Remember watching 21 Jump Street? The Camero was an under cover car for a high school for their job as detectives as to shut down a dangerous drug ring. As you see, Classic cars can work with people when it comes to the law so they don’t look conspicuous or get caught while under cover and it still happens nowadays when it comes to dangerous missions for policemen.

When it comes to a stronger connection with an old car and an owner that haven’t seen each other in so many years, the love there is cathartic, but sweet. But back in 2009, a man celebrated from finishing off a paint job of his Chevy Chevelle but it was snagged by Albuquerque New Mexico for drunk driving. Willingly he surrendered it and 9 years later, he found an ad on social media after all the time, energy and money he’d spent on it was for sale. When he got reconnected with it, the paint was fairly good but the battery was gone. Happy to get it back, they were reconnected once again, but the point is, the connection between the two was strong.

Classics and vintage vehicles bring a big part of serving the citizenship. On November, 20,2020 Nathan, his mother and I were going to get drinks from town when there was a fire at this Irish restaurant. No one was at this place, not even in the kitchen and we weren’t sure what was going on. O’Malley seemed concerned about it and so we went to see it. Sure enough there was a fire. It was a matter of time while we were reporting it, the owner shows up as he saw us and another person arrived after. We were lucky to catch it first before the fire got worse. Luckily, the emergency vehicles came and we were free to go. So O’Malley caught it first so basically we were regular heroes. So the next day, we took Ol Reliable to see the damage. It was okay and was roped off.

Undercover police officers use the larger, stronger cars; the SUVs to blend in with the darkness of the night so they can catch crime. But deep in t he hairs of the police work, classics play a rewarding part of being detectives and undercover work besides do a good job. They are used by police to help them get introduced to their world of popularity just how they used to back in the day of popularity. The person has to get along with the car to do a good job. Getting attached to the classic car can get dangerous on cases but afterwards everything turns out alright in the end of the danger.

When cars get physically connected and it’s like true love that you give and put into the classic. Work with the experience and decide “this is for me” it can be hard to be separated from a car someone loves so much. It’s easy to see why. Cars have compatible personalities that fit the person.

Confronting when you upset your car

When you and a vehicle connected, there are so many happy memories that made you complete with happiness. But when you mess up a little by test driving another vehicle, there are things you can do to make it up to them.

1. Calmly, talk to them. Apologize to them and explain to them, if you’re thinking about buying an addition, talk to them about it first and tell them they’d be still paid attention to no matter what.

2. Lay your hand on the fender, hood, or sit in front of them. There’s nothing more truth-some than touch because it’s a powerful method any human being can maintain and most people don’t know it. Any vehicle can understand touch from a human because they read energies raising up from a source.

3. Give them some space to get over the hurt. Cars love their humans and themselves but mostly people most. So if they’re upset, give them a while to get over it. However if your vehicle has a long temper, give him or her a few minutes to get over it. They love and forgive and that’s the best kind of affection you can have within lessons anywhere. Remember everything is your teacher unless you’re a poor student so be patient.

4. Give them apology presents to show how well you mean to them, especially when you’re sorry.

The difference between vehicles that have long tempers and short tempers is, the long tempermental vehicles just like O’Malley; is that they’re forgiving. One minute, they’re upset and the next minute, they’re affectionately all over you with benignity. Life is too short to hold grudges. Short tempered vehicles are very difficult. Telling them to behave takes patience and practice.
