Hey guys, Kuro here! Unfortunately, I will be scrapping OniKing. The reason for that is because even when I was writing, I didn’t have a true objective but to evolve the main character to Oni level. Eventually, I neglected the story’s course, and ended up not writing at all.

After some time, I lost interest on it, and even after rewriting, I didn’t find motivation to write or create a consistent plot. And eventually, I feel like just stop writing. However, I don’t want to just delete the fiction, I still feel like writing, and the page of OniKing might as well serve for some new and fresher ideas.

So, I had a new fiction in mind. Inspired by several stuff, such as Our New World, from Yukkuri translation service, I do recommend for you to read, The strongest guild master founded a nation within a week in SHMtranslations, also a good read, and, surprisingly, Minecraft!

Well, some mods for the game, not the actual game. Not at all, actually. It isn’t a Minecraft fiction, don’t get ahead of yourself. It doesn’t have anything but inspiration from some popular mods, such as immersive engineering and thaumcraft. Here’s the synopsis:

“In the future, full dive VR is a reality, and it’s most popular game is called ‘Mechanica Fantasy’. It’s class system and unique crafting possibilities attracted several players from all around the world, mainly popular in japan due the infinite customization possibilities.

If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.

However, the most unique aspect that attracted the players is the level system. The level cap of the game is the astonishing cap of one thousand! Not only that, the class system allows you to choose several classes, ten in total, as well to combine classes.

Their guild system also attracted several players, as you can populate your guild with player level NPC for guild wars, with some limitations. Mechanica Fantasy, as the name implies, allows the player to mix magic and machinery, attracting several machine addicts. Not only that, these classes, that would be considered support classes, can be used for combat.

And our story begins when our protagonist awakes inside the room of his character in the guild base…”

And that’s it! More details will be filled in the story as it goes. Have in mind that the inspiration from Our New World is the heaviest one, and will follow a similar plot at the start. If you have read Real Life RPG that I also write, you will see that the start is similar to the original work, or even “ripped off” as mentioned by some readers, and I admit that it is the case, but goes original as soon as the start is over.

However, another warning, the story is SLOW, and will follow a slow and long pace. Not that things will not happen, and there will be filler chapters, but the major events will take a while, and characters will take some time to meet each other from the two sides.

You will understand when I start the story. One last warning, the start will have the same backstory as the Our New World. And that’s it for this warning. I’ll be posting the prologue today or tomorrow. The story will be called Mechanica Fantasy Offline.
